Waterside Holiday Park

Spacious, comfy caravan that really hits the spot for us.

We had a lovely stay here, perfect for a relaxed getaway rather than the hustle of Haven-style entertainment. The parks quite nice, ideal if you want a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding area. We really enjoyed it and already booked again for August 2024. Definitely a spot for a chill holiday!

Very comfortable stay

We had a lovely stay at Waterside and honestly, we left feeling really pleased. The whole site was spotless and well looked after, which made a big difference. Our caravan was comfy and had an amazing view of the sea and the steam train passing by - such a nice touch. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and we appreciated the courtesy call from reception shortly after arriving to see if everything was okay. We didnt really take advantage of the facilities, but they all looked clean and inviting. The place was pretty quiet in the evenings, which suited us perfectly - if youre into bingo or just a peaceful night, its ideal!

We had a really comfortable stay! The beds, including the pull-out in the lounge, were super cosy and everyone slept well. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking easy. We skipped the evening entertainment because of COVID, but the one meal we had at Smugglers Cove was lovely. Only suggestion is adding recycling facilities. Wed definitely return!

The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help; we even got a call from reception within an hour of arriving to check everything was okay, which was a nice touch. We didn't make much use of the facilities, but everything looked clean and inviting. The place was quite peaceful at night, with not much evening entertainment, but honestly, that suited us just fine-perfect for a quiet, relaxing break with plenty of bingo and downtime. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay. The caravan was spotless and really comfy. The bus rides to Paignton, Brixham and Torquay were fantastic - so easy and convenient. The relaxing vibe, especially with the steam train passing by, made it even better!

The site is pretty cosy and chill, but honestly, better beach access would have made it perfect. Still, its a great spot to explore places like Paignton, Brixham and Torquay! Great for a base.

We really enjoyed the views here, especially watching the steam train go past the caravan - kids absolutely loved it! The caravan was reasonably priced and the staff were super helpful whenever we needed anything.

Comfortable stay, lovely surroundings.

We were after a budget-friendly weekend with the dog over the bank holiday and came across Waterside. Honestly, I was a bit worried given some reviews, but we werent expecting luxury anyway. The location was brilliant, with gorgeous coastal walks in both directions. Just a few minutes walk to a quaint village with shops and takeaways. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the doggie welcome packs were a really nice touch. Our caravan was clean and decent enough - not br and new, but we knew that going in. It served as a great base for exploring the area and relaxing. We didnt bother with the pool or club, but they looked fine. All in all, a lovely little break and Id definitely come back!

We found it to be excellent value for money and super cosy just outside the main town of Paignton. This was our first time staying on a caravan site and we definitely want to come back!
