We recently stayed in the R3 Platinum Spa Six lodge for four nights and genuinely enjoyed ourselves. The setting is perfect for relaxing, with peaceful countryside walks along the canal and nearby spots like the nature discovery centre and Greenham Common add a nice touch. Our lodge was surprisingly spacious and had everything we needed - though a few more kitchen utensils wouldve been handy. We kicked off the year with a BBQ that turned out to be delicious and the hot tub was just what we needed after a busy day. The staff were lovely, especially the lady at reception and the maintenance guy, who were very helpful. Wed definitely recommend it for a quiet, relaxing escape!

The lodge was really lovely-spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. We just wish there was better lighting on the decking; it got pretty dark early!

We had a great stay overall! The lodges are absolutely lovely and really well maintained, which made our trip so enjoyable. The only minor hiccup was the road leading to the site - its quite potholed and could do with some repairs, but fingers crossed it gets sorted soon. Theres no shop on-site, but thats hardly a problem since Newbury is just a short drive away, so we had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on local spots, fishing, golf and walks. Were already thinking about coming back!

We found the lodge really peaceful since its quite remote, which was perfect for unwinding. Itd be great if there was a cafe or some activity options on site, though. Also, dressing gowns werent supplied and more towels would have been handy. The heating was a bit noisy early mornings, but overall, a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely lodge. First time here and we've already booked again for January! Only downside was the bumpy track with quite a few pot holes, which wasnt ideal for the car.

Really enjoyed the experience, staff were lovely and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lodge. The place was spotless and well-maintained, nestled in stunning, peaceful surroundings. The only downside was discovering there was no WiFi a week before, which was a bit frustrating for someone needing to check work emails.
Jordan, Derbyshire
Looking forward to visiting again next year!

We had a great stay overall. The lodges are absolutely lovely and really well looked after. The only tiny gripe is that the road leading up to the site is a bit potholed, so it could do with some repairs soon, but hopefully that gets sorted. Theres no shop on-site, but with Newbury just a few minutes drive away, its not a big deal. The staff were super helpful, giving us loads of tips on local spots, good fishing spots and nice walks. Wed definitely come back!

We loved this lodge! Such a spacious place with really lovely decor. The hot tub was just perfect for relaxing after a long day. Everything felt so cosy and well thought out, really made our trip special. Would definitely recommend to friends looking for a nice getaway!
Emma, Leicester
We loved the peaceful setting, it was so relaxing being away from everything. The lodge was lovely, but a few things could be improved-more towels would be handy and a nearby cafe or activities would make it perfect. The noisy heating in the mornings was a bit annoying, though.
Emma, Hampshire
We had a lovely stay and will be booking again soon.

Emma, Staffordshire
Absolutely loved the lodge! Can't wait to come back for another peaceful escape.
Emma, Doncaster
The lodge was absolutely fantastic, really loved it! The only thing that spoiled it a bit was the bumpy, muddy road getting there. Still, we had a great time!
Jess, Gb
Really friendly and welcoming
Emma, Watford Hertfordshire
Great staff, really friendly and super helpful too.
Emma, London
The cabin was stunning and the hot tub was a real treat. Loved the peaceful location, very relaxing stay. Definitely coming back and recommending it to friends!
Emma, Gb
We had a fantastic stay! The hot tub was definitely a highlight. The only thing we found tricky was the limited storage-packing for five for four nights was a bit tight. Still, we enjoyed ourselves a lot and would happily come back again.
