The Muckleburgh Military Collection sits on a former military camp at Weybourne on the North Norfolk coast, a site used for anti-aircraft training in the Second World War. Exhibits include working tanks, armoured cars, artillery, anti-aircraft guns, missiles and light weapons, plus displays on the Norfolk and Suffolk Yeomanry and on sea rescue and reconnaissance.

Holkham Hall is an 18th-century Neo-Palladian country house, designed by William Kent for Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester. It is Grade I listed and still the ancestral home of the Coke family. We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! Its tucked away on a working farm but feels really private and peaceful. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and make you feel at home. The place is super spacious and the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. The bed was incredibly comfy, which was a bonus. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and furnished nicely. Plenty of walks nearby and the local restaurants in Thaxted, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!

We had such a great weekend stay here! Everything about it was just what we needed. The dogs absolutely adored the underfloor heating and they had a blast running around in the garden. We just got back from a fantastic four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are really friendly and helpful without being intrusive - theyre there if you need anything. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to roam around freely. The place had everything we could possibly need, including a great BBQ. The hot tub was a real highlight! The hot tub was definitely a highlight, especially during the really hot days when the water was nicely cooled and super refreshing. The hosts were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome, which was lovely. Watching the planes land near Stansted was actually quite interesting, even if youre on the flight path. The village of Thaxted is charming and perfect for a peaceful getaway. All in all, wed happily recommend it for a relaxing break with your furry friends!

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! The place is super well kept and fully equipped, making it feel really homely. The dog walks right outside meant we could enjoy the countryside without any hassle. The host was lovely, very friendly and quick to reply. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. Well definitely return-such great value! Highly recommend.

Ideal location to relax
Right on the beach which we loved and dogs allowed so perfect the beach is a lovely long sandy beach. Caravan was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for hitting other tourist hotspots and a lovely fish and chip shop a five minute drive away. Exactly what we were looking forward and we will definitely be back next year.
Hopefully, we will go again next year! Loved it! Caravan steps very steep and could do with changing but apart from that, perfect in every way!

We had a lovely weekend away on this site. Check in in was easy. The lady on reception was lovely and friendly and the process was very quick. The mobile home we stayed in was front line so it had great views of the beach. The beach was literally down a few steps (we stayed in caravan 9 - pet friendly). You could walk for miles in either direction and dogs were allowed on the beach. The food we had was lovely. I had the hunters chicken, kids had burgers. tasted good and bar staff were very friendly. Entertainment, the evening we went in was a singer, she was great and the bar/restaurant filled up as the evening went on. We also tried the Chinese which is a very short drive/walk to. I can recommend that too, with good prices. Family of 5 was about £80 and we ate a lot! The site is about 30 min drive to Great Yarmouth and 20 mins to Cromer. There was a park also on site but my kids didn't use it, they were too busy on the beach.
