Lovely stay in a beautiful lodge. Only criticism was the double bed was far to hard so ended up with an uncomfortable sleep every night.

The lodge was very modern and very clean. We have stayed at Landal piperdam on several occasions however decided not to go there as the furniture was worn and uncomfortable. I have nothing negative to say about the lodge at Brunston everything was perfect. The hot tub was amazing and with this being sunk in to the decking it was easier for my husband who has poor mobility to get in and out of and meant he could get full use of this.We will definitely be back again as it ticked all the boxes.

Lodge was very clean and kitchen was well equipped apart from not having a coffee machine which I would have expected. Sofas are a bit saggy but beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi worked ok.Really should have a second tv in one of the bedrooms especially if the lodge is geared towards a family. Kids often want to bring their gaming console on holidays. Hot tub was lovely but was only up to usable temperature on the morning after arrival. Bit of maintenance required in the lodge, as one of the wall heaters was not working, nor was the cooker hood light operative.

Great resort, nice and quiet. Lodge was a great size, loved having a veranda! Our only negatives were that the utensils were needing replaced, every knife was blunt and the heating system could do with an update as it was old fashioned and confusing to work out how to switch on or put on timer.

We stayed here as a family of four, although the facilities were closed on the site this did not stop our enjoyment. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The lodge was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the takeaway pizzas they offered. The lodge is well located for Girvan beach, we drove to Ayr where we visited the town and beach had fish and chips and visited the amusements.

Well equipped and beautiful lodge. Only one complaint, the layout in the kitchen is not suitable for a 51. Lady. I could not reach most of the things in the kitchen as the units were too high.

Brunston castle have lovely lodges and hot tubs. The decor inside the lodge is lovely and modern, the facilities are easy to use and the beds are comfortable to sleep in, its the perfect place to go away for a much needed break!

Only issue I would say about Ailsa craig is that the 2 bedrooms downstairs had no heaters so it was absolutely freezing down there and unfortunately the heating upstairs didn't make any difference to warming downstairs so the children woke up to freezing and went to sleep in the freezing

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, I would recommend the park and facilities to anyone. If you want a retreat and are happy with the woodland walks and making your own fun, this could be the perfect place. For those who like eating out and dont like spending too long in the car, then the location might be a little limiting.

Fantastic holiday in ‘home from home’ well equipped lodge. Great on site facilities and close enough to the coast to have a day at the beach. Kids loved it. Staff were extremely helpful too. Contactless check-in and check-out was a breeze. That was our second visit and intend to come back.

The lodge was lovely, it was spacious and very clean. Peaceful and relaxing area. Facilities were ideal for family time putting, pool or table tennis. We had the pool to ourselves most days. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, despite it being single staffed most of the time and them having to cover the lounge, front desk, games facilities. We would definitely visit again, we wished we'd booked a few more nights.

Lovely chalet in beautifully peaceful surroundings, just the location to kick back and relax. Had forgotten how lovely the Ayrshire coastline scenery is. Enjoyed a lovely meal at Austins in Girvan, also good food at reasonable price at Yasmin's Fine Indian, the owner gave us a very friendly welcome. Will certainly stay at Landal Brunston again.
