There a a few things i think would make future stays better. The lodge didn't have a freezer which with us staying for a week would have been beneficial for our meals. There was no blinds over the windows in the living room which when the sun was shining in made the living room quite hot and unable to watch TV on days we just wanted to relax in the afternoon. we stayed in 'Journeys End' and found the double bed to be quite uncomfortable as the mattress was only thin and the bed was quite rickety. It would have been nice to have a lamp in the living room as the only option was darkness or the really bright spotlights. Other than that everything else was as you you expect from a standard lodge stay.

Immaculate lodge with breathtaking views. Hosts were amazingly helpful to help us see most of the local sites and really enjoyed the walk with the dogs to the top of Roseberry topping. With a pub across the road too made it easy to have meals out when we couldnt be fussed to cook.
