The lodge is fully stocked, even tea, coffee and biscuits were provided.Only thing that was a pity, was that the couches were very uncomfortable and the matrass of the double bed is also up for replacement. Especially the couch made me doubt whether to rate the furniture as poor or average. But besides that everything was excellent.

First time trying a hot tub lodge with our young children and we couldn't have asked for more. The owner met us on arrival with the key and gave us helpful information she was a lovely lady. The lodge itself was absolutely spotless and of large size the hot tub water was crystal clear it was obvious to see the lodges are well maintained. There's nothing onsite very peaceful a large field which the kids absolutely loved running around and playing with the ball watching all the bunnies on a morning great for star gazing and sunsets. We done days out and everywhere seemed to only be about 20mins drive away for us which was great. The lodge had clean bedding and towels provided. There was everything you need if you wanted to cook inside or a bbq outside. They also provided a small bottle of milk and some teabags/coffees and biscuits which was a nice little touch. We noticed there was also a dishwasher and tablets and a washing machine we did not use but all looked clean and tidy. Theres a pub outside the site walking distance and a few others and a sainsburys a 5 minute drive along the road. Had a great stay would definitely return.

Excellent location for visiting Yorkshire. Couples 7 night stay in Oak 1 in March. Lovely quiet location, very clean and spacious lodge, well equipped, even weighing scales and sieve which are usually not found in lodges weve stayed in. Hot tub was great after a day sightseeing and very warm. Lots of storage space and hangers for clothes. Netflix available on tv. Well definitely like to visit again. Had to clean washing machine drawer before using the machine, but thats the only negative.

We had an amazing week in Yorkshire and stayed in Oak 1 this March. The location was perfect for exploring the area-its so peaceful and quiet. The lodge was spotless, really spacious and well kitted out, with little touches like weighing scales and a sieve that you dont often find. The hot tub was a highlight, super warm and perfect after a day out. Plenty of storage and hangers, plus Netflix on the TV. Only minor issue was cleaning the washing machine drawer before use, but wed happily return!

We had a great stay overall. The lodges are really lovely and come with all the essentials, which made everything easy. With the stormy weather outside, coming back to such a cosy and warm place was perfect. We especially loved having a TV in the bedroom-nice touch! The only thing wed suggest is better lighting from the entrance down the drive, but it didnt ruin the experience at all.

We recently stayed at this lovely little spot for a week and honestly, it was just what we needed - super peaceful and pretty quiet. There are only five lodges here, but theyve done a good job making sure each one feels private, thanks to the hedging between them. The decking looks out onto a grassy area and beyond that, fields, so its lovely to sit out with a coffee. You do hear a bit of traffic, but its not intrusive at all. The hot tub is sunk into the decking, which makes getting in and out really easy and theres a wooden table with chairs plus a small circular BBQ on the deck too - perfect for evening meals. Parkings right next to the lodge, which is handy. The kitchen is well-stocked - honestly, it had everything we needed, even a set of scales! The washing machine doubles as a dryer, so drying clothes wasnt a hassle if youre not keen on airers. The shower is a decent size and straightforward to use and the main bathroom has a deep bath with a shower over it, which is great for relaxing. The living room can get a bit drafty when the winds strong, but the electric stove-style fire keeps it cosy enough. The beds are comfy and clean, though we did notice some cobwebs and dust behind a set of drawers - maybe not cleaned as often as they should be. The lodge was spotless and nicely presented. The WiFi is a bit rubbish, honestly - its based on a mobile router on the 3 network, so it kept dropping out and when it was working, it was pretty slow, around 4mbps. Not really suitable for working or streaming videos, but fine for basic browsing. Overall, a lovely place to unwind!
