Megapod X was lovely - slightly cramped for our family of four, but not a major problem as we were out and about most of the time. Still very new, so nice and clean and in very good condition. Lovely comfy bed and sofa bed. Small kitchen area included a little fridge, kettle and toaster which was very useful. Site is fantastic for any age really, but lots to do for kids. Pre-booking is a must for the activities as you will struggle to find availability on the day. Would like to try the XL pod next for a bit more room.
Linda, Ceredigion
Date of stay: 24th August 2018
The shower was amazing, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking. The only downside was that the actual cabin itself needed a good clean on the outside. Not dirty but absolutely COVERED in cobwebs.
David, Chesham
Date of stay: 3rd August 2018

Date of stay: 13th July 2018
Lovely cabin and surroundings. Some problems with electronic key card. Bathroom door didnt lock as not aligned engineer who fixed electronic lock fixed bathroom door when we asked. One wardrobe door wouldnt stay shut as mechanism not aligned had to tie shut with curtain tie back. Annoying! Couldnt get upstairs tv to work. A large teapot would have been nice!
Ian, Eastleigh
Date of stay: 9th July 2018
All very good and what we required. I have 2 complaints though.
One of the bathroom doors wouldn't completely close.
Main problem was the size of the single beds. They were too narrow and I fell out of bed on the first night!
Saliha, Swindon
Date of stay: 2nd July 2018
Holiday was great we have been to 4 different holiday parks in the past month and this was by far one of my favourites. For the price its fantasti the lodge was beautiful and so spacious more so than I had expected it really was great. Nothing was too far from anything and the facilities were great. We were greeted by a lovely lady on entrance (who turns out was a new starter but in my opinion she was so professional I had initially thought she was management) we were given a bag with all the Park details and info and some tee and coffee things. The swimming pool was great me and my sister really enjoyed the jacuzzi and steam room, my daughter enjoyed the swimming too! We had breakfast one morning which was nice although the bacon was extremely dry but it was fine. Overall a fantastic experience and the staff really were great so friendly and always happy to help. The only thing I would say is when we orders breakfast to take away we were told we were able to take pancakes away. We sat and waited for them and they were brought out on a plate I advised the girl they were to take away she didnt seem happy at all and went to speak to the lady at the till and then came back with out pancakes which were just shoved into the containers and looked awful, they actually tasted awful too.

There is great potential here but alot of waited space. A toilet upstairs would be great and some plugs didn't work. In the kitchen remove the breakfast bar and put in a dishwasher much more practical.
Beds were amazing had the best sleep. Very well laid out.

Date of stay: 21st August 2017
Fantastic holiday from start to finish.

Only recommendation would be for more windows in the living area and master bedroom. On a sunny day the living area felt like a greenhouse - and having the dogs with us, we couldn't leave the door open (else they would have darted for the bunnies, moorhens and ducks!)

Thoroughly recommend the apartments though
Philip, Chard
Date of stay: 18th August 2017
Fantastic park and would definitely visit again
Date of stay: 18th August 2017
We enjoyed the hoildays very much, but would be nice if some children activities were in with the money as when u have a 6 children in ur family it works out very expensive, when u have paid a lot of money to go there.
Rebecca, Cardiff

The facilities in the cabin were very good. The shower was lovely. The lounge was very spacious
Sue, North Wales
Date of stay: 24th February 2017
The bungalow was great for 6 of us. Some of the fittings were damaged - eg at least 1 chair was unusable & a bed head was unstable causing concern for small occupant of the bed. The absence of en-suite was a good thing as both bathroom & small toilet/cloakroom were available for all guests not just the main bedroom. Garden & decking BBQ area were super & location was not overlooked
Sharon, Wolverhampton
Date of stay: 30th December 2016
The apartment was clean apart from some tinsel bits and the oven was dirty!! I had to fix the curtains as they were off the hooks but I put that down yo previous occupants not caring

Well pleased. A dishwasher would be a good addition if it could be squeezed in
Deborah, Colchester
Date of stay: 21st October 2016
For a lodge that slept 8 people we found the lounge/dining area far too small and would have liked an extra en-suite.
Date of stay: 10th October 2016
Brill loved the bedroom upstairs
Susan, Bishops Stortford
Date of stay: 7th October 2016
The glass doors and windows at the back of the cabin were very dirty and I felt like I wanted to give them a good rub. When the sun shone thru them I wanted to give them a good rub. The inside of the cabin was very clean.
The only other annoying thing was when you went into the bathroom and came out again the lights stayed on for quite a while which we thought was unnecessary
Date of stay: 23rd September 2016
The only trouble with the cabin was the inordinate amount of time it took the fan in the bathroom to turn off.
Georgina, Burnham On Sea
Date of stay: 1st August 2016

Date of stay: 7th March 2016
The lodge was lovely. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space . The only negative for me personally was being able to adjust the heating as sometimes it was so hot but that is a small negative. Very well equipped apart fr the frying pan but no problem as when I come back I will bring my own

Lots of space for the whole family to enjoy. Everything you need to have a great holiday.
David, Birmingham
Date of stay: 25th May 2015
Absolutely great weekend break. Wouldn't normally go to a 'family friendly' park as we don't have kids, but actually quite enjoyed it. Good facilities on site, and the village has two good pubs within very easy walking distance. Only slight niggle was occasional road noise during the day, but that's probably because we're more used to holidays in the middle of nowhere!!
Julie, Birmingham
Date of stay: 18th May 2015
Fantastic in all aspects .
Rachel, Newton Abbot
Date of stay: 10th April 2015

A, Staffordshire
Date of stay: 10th April 2015
Great Stay, great food at restaraunt also at a reasonable price.
Facilities clean and looked after.
Pool clean well manned and changing rooms clean
Stayed in woodside lodge. had everything we required. Smoke alarm battery went off half way through first night and dripping shower, called reception first thing in the morning and with 20 minutes both had been rectified by maintenance. Very good.
Would recommend for sure.
Simon, Glasgow
Date of stay: 27th March 2015
Overall a very nice stay. There was some trouble with a toilet blockage twice but again the maintenance workers were very quick to respond and very courteous. The cleanliness of the apartment on arrival was not great. The decor was not up to standard either, with holes in the wall and desperately in need of painting. This would not detract from us booking again. However if I was booking at a more expensive time of year I would be disappointed and the scores would not be so high. As I would be expecting more for the money I would have paid
Kay, Chipping Norton
Date of stay: 9th March 2015
we loved it, my family joined us for a night and the staff were very helpfull
Faye, Birmingham
Date of stay: 27th February 2015
Beautiful cosy log cabin with everything we needed. Great facilities on site only thing they could do with is a cash machine. We enjoyed our stay so much we have now joined CSMA who run the site and will be staying regularly.

Date of stay: 5th December 2014
The accomodation was lovely, loads of room and very clean. All the facilities were there and heating and water was excellent. As it was cold outside we enjoyed the warmth in the cabin. We are looking forward to returning again in the new year.
Susan, Charlesworth, Glossop.
Date of stay: 5th December 2014
Good quality and very clean, even a mini christmas tree with lights in the living room, a very nice touch!
Linda, Cheltenham
Date of stay: 1st December 2014
Immaculately clean and well kitted out log cabin. The children's plates, table etc were an unexpected and very appreciated bonus.
Date of stay: 28th November 2014
The apartment was massive and very very comfortable and would recommend to anyone.
I'd like to know how the snail trails were all over the carpet and where the snails go during the day!!
Date of stay: 3rd November 2014

I did find the master bedroom too cramped. No extra charge for electricity was good.
Caroline, Worcestershire
Date of stay: 27th October 2014
Overall, very good. No duvet cover for sofa bed (night porter found us one). A leaking shower in apartment above flooded the en suite (maintenance cleaned up) making it unsafe to use though luckily we had only 1 night to go. A chair with arms for disabled guests would make life more comfortable.
Lavender, Sheffield
Date of stay: 24th October 2014
We booked a pet friendly woodland lodge and it was fabulous. Huge space, open plan perfect for both dog and toddler. Ensuite for us and separate bathroom for toddler with bath, but also to put muddy kit after days out. Lovely secure veranda area. Although the lodges are quite close to each other, because of the setting, you never feel anyone is close by or overlooked. Also, quality of fitting etc lovely - even had a full sized fridge freezer which meant we could take lots of pre-made meals from home to keep costs down. They fitted free wifi in the lodge during our stay, which was great for watching films on the computer etc, but it was actually very nice to be secluded without it at first!
Richard, Birmingham
Date of stay: 20th October 2014
Only criticism was people are allowed to pre book cabins with car spaces immediately outside rather than ours with a walk to the car park which was a real pain with a 3m and 3 yr old and their stuff. It isn't fair people get booking priority just because they know that they can prebook better ones having been before - as the rep said had happened here. We said there were kids in the party when we booked but doubt this was considered as others pre booked first
Becca, Pembridge
Date of stay: 20th October 2014
Very clean and all you needed. Some of the furniture, although clean, you could tell was fairly well used ie. squishy sofa cushions, bed a little saggy in places. But generally very good.
Naomi, Walsall
Date of stay: 20th October 2014
Beautiful apartment!

Date of stay: 22nd September 2014
Nice size log cabin with comfortable furniture and smart fittings. Nice veranda.
Anne, St Helens, Merseyside
Date of stay: 5th September 2014
we were in lodge 22 . there was a small pond with trees , These trees made the rooms quite dark and we didnt get any sun on the decking,As it was nice and sunny while we were there it would have been nice to sit out .
other than that could not fault it.
Andrew, Walsall
Date of stay: 1st September 2014
The accommodation was fine. Quality wifi access is something of an expectation these days, particularly at a site with no mobile signal, and this did not work in our apartment.
Lynda, Manchester
Date of stay: 29th August 2014
After reading some reviews wasn't sure what to expect but was really impressed with our lodge and the surroundings

Michaela, Reading
Date of stay: 15th August 2014
I can't highly rate this place enough! It's absolutely beautiful.Stayed in the premier apartment and my God, it was huge! But so lovely and clean. We has beautiful views. The only downside is that you hear people upstairs if you're on the bottom floor. Didn't really use the facilities but they looked lovely Also! I personally think the pool should be bigger for the size off the park. The food is outstanding there and very well priced as well. I'd definitely be going back!
Date of stay: 8th August 2014
Accommodation was really good - twin bedroom quite small making wardrobe access slightly difficult.
Therese, Nottingham
Date of stay: 25th July 2014
Our log cabin was much nicer than I was expecting. I think it must have been recently refurbished - the kitchen area and the bathroom in particular looked quite new. We had a problem with the boiler on the first day (fixed within five minutes of reporting it!), and the workman told me it had been installed a month ago. There were only two of us staying, and it was the perfect size for us. The veranda was a godsend given the really hot weather, and we had a nice outlook over an open green area. In some other parts of the park the cabins seemed more tightly packed together, but where we were they were well spaced out and we didn't feel overlooked or crowded. We were quite close to the entrance and to the road that passes by the park, so there was a certain amount of traffic noise, but it was not intrusive. On the upside, we were also close to all the facilities (reception, shop, pool, restaurant), so everything was really quick and easy to get to.

Lovely clean, spacious accommodation with towels and and all the basic you could want. We had ground floor apartment- so in the glorious weather we had we had the patio doors open and were able to sit out on the picnic bench outside. Lovely watching the wild life through the windows in the mornings

Excellently equipped, spotlessly clean, beds made up. Only grumble was that there was no gate on the lovely decking area, I had 2. Dogs with me so concerned they didn't get out, also anyone with young children would have the same concerns that a child could wander off the terrace and I to the park.
