Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Ford Farm for valentinesday in one of the Spa lodges, it is one of the best holiday/breaks that we have ever been on. The lodge its self was very very clean, it had everything that you needed from cooking equipment to bathroom products. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is perfect. I would HIGHLY reccomend staying here, we will most defiantly be coming back in the future.

Lovely lodge, Malcolm met us at the gate and showed us to the lodge which was really impressive with fresh flowers and biscuits a lovely touch, The sauna and hot tub was fab after a day out touring, the lodge itself was really clean and full of mod cons, had what I thought was a radio turned out it was a speaker you plugged your phone into?
Would defiantly be back next year.

Peter, Hengoed
Date of stay: 21st August 2017
We were greeted by one of the owners and shown to our lodge, he showed us around explained how things worked. He recommended a couple of local pubs to try and some local walks. The Lodge caters for all needs and supplies a bbq . The grounds are very well kept and very picturesque . We would have no hesitation in recommending Ford Farm Lodges as a place to stay. If you want somewhere with bars and loud music this is definitely not the place for you. We'll be back.
Date of stay: 21st August 2017

Tonni, Norfolk
Date of stay: 18th August 2017

Alison, Tyne & Wear
Date of stay: 31st July 2017
We had a lovely & relaxing week in the Kilcot Elite Spa lodge. The lodge has everything you need for your stay you only need to bring towels & food . Bath robes are provided for use with the hot tub which was fabulous to relax in after long days out exploring the beautiful area. The Sauna was also a lovely bonus as we're the luxury toiletries.
There were fresh flowers & a welcome basket of tea & coffee for our arrival which was a lovely touch. The site is well run by Malcolm & Martin who are on hand for any issues that may arise but we had none as everything was perfect. We would definitely visit again & have recommended to family & friends.
Gemma, Gillingham
Date of stay: 31st July 2017
We stayed at ford farm for a week and had the best time. Apart from a couple of needed upgrades in the appliances, the accommodation was fantastic. Location is brilliant, Newent is just a 5 min drive, Gloucester is about 20-30 mins and Forest of Dean is about 20-30min in the other direction. Ideal place to stay. The owners are very welcoming and approachable.
Amy, Stanford Le Hope

Relaxing. Fun. Great to visit surrounding areas.
Christine, Bromley Kent
Date of stay: 30th June 2017
The lodge was larger and more comfortable than I had expected. The kitchen area had everything we needed and the appliances were all good quality and spotless. The beds were comfortable and furnishings attractive.

The only reason the for the 9 mark refers to the sofa which was less comfortable.

Overall good value on a nice quiet site in a good location.
David, Tamworth
Date of stay: 16th June 2017
Very comfortable clean no complaints
John, St. Albans, Herts
Date of stay: 12th June 2017
A very comfortable lodge with all that was needed for a very enjoyable stay.
Robert, Heswall
Date of stay: 2nd June 2017
Very relaxing and peaceful midweek stay. The lodge was very well equipped and comfortable very much exceeding our expectations.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends and would look forward to revisiting ourselves should the opportunity arise.

A very minor point to make regarding the provision of robes for use around the hot tub, this was not mentioned during booking and as we were advised to bring our own towels we were very surprised to find robes provided. In our experience it would have been helpful if the provision of robes was indicated in the lodge description, this may prove helpful for future occupants.
Lynsey, West Midlands

Date of stay: 24th April 2017
Superb! Peaceful, bright, clean, warm, fresh, good quality -what more do you need?! I cannot fault anything at all, we had a lovely break and enjoyed the hot tub and sauna very much. The 'extras' such as bath robes and luxury toiletries made all the difference but there wasn't a hair dryer which would have been nice. I would highly recommend a holiday in this exceptional lodge.
Lee, Redditch
Date of stay: 21st April 2017

We loved the lodge, it was spacious, the kitchen was well equiped for cooking, the bedroom had lots of room for our clothes, we cold park by the lodge and the bathroom was lovely. Date of stay: 28th October 2016
Ford Farm is set in beautiful surroundings and is many areas of stunning natural beauty are within easy reach. This was our 5th time of staying at the lodges and yet again, they did not disappoint. They are always clean and comfortable and feel like home. Martin and Malcolm go out of their way to make our stay a happy one. This year we took 4 other families with us, all of whom now intend to come back again at some point because they were so impressed. Thoroughly recommended.

Date of stay: 30th September 2016
The Kilcot Elite Spa in which we stayed was fabulous, we spent our evenings either in the hot tub or sat outside on the decking area, drinking wine and enjoying the surroundings.
After many miles of exploring throughout the week in the Cotswolds, Wye Valley & the Forest of Dean, we found the lodge a perfect base to come home to.
Overall it was a comfortable, well thought out & relaxing place to holiday and we would not hesitate in coming back.
If anybody is unsure whether or not to book here, please don't delay any longer and you will not be disappointed
Kerri, London

Absolutely lovely holiday lodge. Malcolm welcomed us; he couldn't be more helpful. Nice lodge inside and out, private hot tub was fab!
Will definitely be returning at some point.
We couldn't get an internet connection and phone signal wasn't great, but it really didn't matter to us as we wanted to escape reality for a bit!

We have stayed at the new Kilcot Elite Spa since it was built a couple of years ago. Before that we stayed in Kilcot Lodge. We have stayed at Ford Farm Lodges since the year 2000 and come every year. We have already booked for next year (2017). Needless to say we love it there and always look forward to our two weeks of heaven. The surrounding area is beautiful. What more could you ask for?
Kirsty, Huntingdon
Date of stay: 24th June 2016
Fantastic to get away from everything... Little piece of heaven
Amanda, Doncaster
Date of stay: 13th June 2016
The only reason I gave 9 for cleanliness was because there was a biscuit under the bed and a dirty tissue in the drawer. However, these are things that could be easily missed. The rest of the lodge was immaculate.
Date of stay: 10th June 2016
Lodge was clean and well presented. Wifi was available but could not get a signal in the lodge - didn't matter for us, but be aware when you book.
Robert, Aldershot Hampshire
Date of stay: 30th May 2016

Date of stay: 20th May 2016
We had a lovely stay at Ford Farm lodges. The owners Malcolm and Martyn are very friendly and gave us lots of information about the area and the best places to eat. We took our dog and he loved the holiday too! Great location no distance from Ross on Wye or Newent. The lodge was great, beds very comfortable. Lots of wonderful wildlife right outside our lodge, we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family.
Elaine, Cornwall
Date of stay: 9th May 2016
The Linton lodge is lovely. Its very spacious and has everything you need. The only downside is the leather sofas are not too comfortable and the sofa that turns into a double bed is not too comfortable.
Kenneth, Westhoughton
Date of stay: 2nd May 2016
Wifi didn't work at all

Date of stay: 1st February 2016
Had a fantastic few days and nights staying in Lodge 2 at Ford Farm Lodges. A very quiet site with a pond, a fair few lodges on site but ample space, ample privacy and very quiet.

From past lodge holidays we were used to driving in and finding the keys in the lodge, although that was the case here too, the instructions said to go to the Farm house - we did but couldn't see anyone around and had no idea if it was the right farm house - so went into our lodge anyway!

After unpacking the car the site owner popped down to instruct us how to use the hot tub, where he was if we needed anything and to recommend a local dog friendly pub.

As per instructions on our booking confirmation, when we arrived we found keys in the Bed was great.

Lots of walks around the area. We spent the majority of our time in The Forest of Dean, we checked out both the Sculpture Trail and Symonds Yat Rock View Point.

We headed to a local pub on the first night, but it was full (didn't realise the football was on!) so headed to another. It was very quite and had an indian restaurant slapped onto the side. The pub allowed dogs but the restaurant didn't, so we got take away and devoured it back at the lodge.

The other reviews of this lodge site are well deserved. I couldn't fault the place!

Great if you want to escape everything with nothing around for miles and no signal or internet. Perfect!
Felicity, St Helier, Jersey
Date of stay: 22nd January 2016

Couldn't of asked for more! The gentleman who runs the lodges greeted us in pouring rain bless him. We had a bunch of flowers, wine and chocolates a wonderful touch. All the mod cons you could possibly need, spacious, comfy, light and warm. And of course the hot tub was a dream, a lovely way to start our new year. Thank you so much
Sam, Nuneaton
Date of stay: 3rd January 2016
Traditionally decorated cabin (wood panelled inside) but everything was fantastic - they even put christmas decorations up for our arrival, and fresh flowers with wine and chocolate !! Only downside is that the sofa is slightly too small but other than that everything is fantastic.
David, Reading
Date of stay: 30th November 2015

Date of stay: 16th November 2015
The hot tub worked brilliantly and the bed was more comfortable that my bed at home. Excellent.
Date of stay: 16th November 2015
Lovely, comfortable furniture. We've stayed in a lot of lodges, this was the best by far.
Date of stay: 2nd November 2015
I came here for a quiet break, to unwind after a stressful few weeks, and this did the job perfectly - the lodge is lovely!

I was surprised how large the main room was, and it felt really spacious with the high ceiling. (And lovely and warm too, thermostat set at 20 degrees when I arrived!) The kitchen was also well-stocked (including washing-up liquid, cling film etc), although I did knock a point off the fittings mark because it had an electric oven + hob, and I don't like cooking on those. Everything else was top-notch though, and I will definitely come back again.
Robert, Peacehaven
Date of stay: 30th October 2015

Date of stay: 19th October 2015
I cannot rate Ford Farm Lodge highly enough, Mum and I stay here 4/5 times a year, why stay anywhere else, when it is so perfect for us! Set in beautiful, well maintained grounds, the log cabin is always spotlessly clean, with fresh flowers, tea and coffee sachets, biscuits on your arrival, lovely crisp bed linen, with staying so often, we see the way the owners are constantly updating the cabins, this time with new bedroom furniture and soft furnishings. Talking of the owners, they are two of the most helpful, friendly people who are always on hand should you need them! If you want total relaxation, lovely walks, and fabulous accommodation then this is the place for you! Enjoy...we do !

Everything you need for a perfect break is here and Malcolm is happy to help if you do need anything. The hot tub is spotlessly clean and cared for every day, the lodge itself is warm and cosy with all the mod-cons, and again, very well maintained.
William, Llandudno
Date of stay: 18th September 2015
Recently refurbished the accommodation boasts everything you will need. King size bed, comfortable seating, excellent bathroom/shower and all kitchen requirements for a home from home environment. The lodge temperature is set for comfort and we've been there in all seasons, never having to adjust which can be done quite simply. Electricity included in price so no horrid meters !!

Date of stay: 28th August 2015
Overall a very comfortable and well equipped lodge. Bathroom had a lovely surround to wash basin with loads of storage space and large mirror. Good size shower - a few inches step up. Could have done with heated towel rail as central heating had been switched off by owners and although it was August it was cold and towels didn't dry. Bedroom had plenty of cupboards, comfortable king size divan, bedside tables and lights. Lounge and combined kitchen fine. Small porch at the front with furniture and at the back better furniture and hot tub. Both caught sun most of day. Hot tub was partly sunken but I was disappointed to find the seats were only inches from the base, meaning I daren't use it as I wouldn't have been able to stand to get out. Realise this a personal thing but mentioned in case there are others with same problem. Semi-detached at bedroom and bathroom but think other one may have been empty.

We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. We went to relax and that is what we did. I had a broken ankle at the time and found the lodge was good given I had restricted mobility. The lodge and surrounding area are kept very clean. We would recommend this site to our friends and
family. The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble.

Kitcot Elite Spa Lodge was very comfortable. We stayed in June and we found the 13.5 tog duvet far to warm a choice of a summer duvet should have been available. Sun loungers outside would have been nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break. Loved the shower! The hot tub was a new experience for us, and it was okay but I wouldn't necessarily have booked a particular lodge just for that.

The kitchen was well stocked, equipment wise, and even had a tea pot (but I was glad I took my own strainer!), and it was aesthetically pleasing that all set matched, e.g. china was all the same, the coasters and table mats were a set etc.

Date of stay: 20th March 2015
Although Linton Lodge was one of the cheaper lodges (no hot tub) we could take our dog, and usually find that places where dogs are allowed are not of such a high standard, but not this Lodge. It was beautiful, everything you could ask for, from a vase of fresh flowers to toiletries in bathroom, and cleaning materials in kitchen, all we needed were towels, although one was provided for the dog!! It was warm and cosy, beds comfy, I cannot honestly say anything negative.

The Kilcot Elite lodge was first class. It was comfy and homely but at the same time very stylish with modern facilities. The outdoor hot tub was lovely to sit in and take in the beautiful surroundings. As much as we were next to another lodge, we were unable to see this from the windows or hot tub making us feel like we were the only ones there. The sauna was also an amazing extra. Could've done with a couple of the basics like tea towels or bottle opener but know this for next time.

Lovely break away, owners very informative in telling us about local area. Lodge was brilliant, very clean and comfortable, wish we could have stayed longer!
Absolutely fantastic holiday, a big thank you to Martin and Malcom they couldn’t of been more helpful. Beautiful scenery very clean. Just wow.
Lovely quiet surroundings. Beautiful lodges. Shame we couldn't stay and finish our holiday because of Ill health
Kilcot Elite Spa 2 was an excellent lodge - spacious, warm, comfortable and well-equipped. The hot tub was superb and secluded. The site was quiet, well looked after and attractive - close to Gloucester, Ross-on-Wye, Forest of Dean etc. Malcolm met us, explained all about the lodge and gave us a demonstration on use of the hot tub.
Very comfortable and well equipped lodge. Excellent heating. Quiet and peaceful location.
Beautiful lodge, gorgeous tranquil setting. Local pubs within walking distance, local bus to nearby towns a short walk away.
A lovely peaceful setting and lodge finished to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings
We had a lovely stay with our dog Abby. Weather not good but didn’t spoil the lovely surroundings and welcome from Malcom. fantasticly equipped lodge and very clean. would definitely recommend x
Very quiet location. Very good quality accommodation and friendly owners. Probably everything you want is in the lodge, but in ours, there was no hairdryer, and if we'd have known, we would have taken our own.
Would highly recommend, but towels supplied would be really useful.
Lovely lodge, set in peaceful surroundings. All modern and clean.
Perfect long weekend away . Lodge done out to a very high spec , can’t wait to come back
