The caravan itself was not cleaned properly, there was strong pungent odour when we arrived? animal smell. I am not against animal but they should separate the caravan with animal and no animal, one of my family member has asthma and I suffer from hayfever. The front door in the carpet area, there were a lot of animal hair, was not hovered properly.Bed linens for the pull up bed is not complete. Hence we asked help from the night emergency staff. The night emergency staff were not helpful and unfriendly. They know that there were 8people to check in, there was no accounting and rechecking from the hospitality team. The caravan has dust mite or ?bed bug, we were bitten, we have a lot of red itchy marks right after our first night until the 7th day. Red itchy patches keeps on appearing everyday. The manager of the park was not helpful, we asked for hover for us to self clean the caravan, he promised on the 2nd day but until 7th day no hover has arrived. The manager is full of promises but no action. Our holiday was ruined from the first day. I was constantly scratching due to severe itchiness.

Caravan was filthy. Brown marks on the doors, clearly not been wiped down for ages. Radiators and fire were dirty. Hole in one of the bedroom's wall. Van stank of dog.

The beds were small and uncomfortable. To be fair, I expect that from a caravan holiday, but these were really not comfy. And the settee areas in the lounge are not designed to be sat on for long. They are quire hard cushions, with hard sides.

The caravan was cosy and perfect for our dog, though it did have a bit of a dog smell when we arrived. Its a 6 berth, but quite compact and storage was limited, so shoes piled up by the door due to the bad weather. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite the small space. Would stay again!

We had a pretty good stay at White Acres, all in all. The caravan was perfectly situated and everything was spotless and tidy. The staff were really friendly and always willing to help out if needed. One thing that was a bit off was the bedding - it had a slight damp smell, which I reckon was because it was early in the season, February and all that. Still, it wasnt a huge deal. Weather was terrible during our visit, so we didnt get to explore the park properly or enjoy some of the activities. Despite that, were keen to come back when the weathers better and check everything out properly. Would recommend!

We found the lodge to be quite roomy and mostly spotless, though there were a few dusty spots behind the bathroom doors that were missed. It was a nice surprise to find towels included, since we assumed just bed linen would be. Having a full-size fridge and a washing machine was a real bonus. The location right by the lake was stunning. The only downsides were the lack of parking right outside and the really slippery paths and ramp, plus the grass was a total muddy mess!

Really enjoyed staying here, the lodge had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The view of the lake was definitely a highlight-absolutely stunning! The place was cosy and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. We especially loved waking up to that peaceful scenery every morning. Overall, a lovely spot for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely come back again!

We just got back from a fantastic week at White Acres! The staff really made our holiday special, especially Leanne, Elle and Melissa-they went out of their way to sort out our accommodation after a booking mix-up, which we really appreciated. Honestly, their effort didnt go unnoticed. Were already planning to come back next year. Keep up the good work, team!

We've just finished our third visit and are already booked for next year! The place is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. That said, a bit of maintenance wouldnt go amiss - our lodge gate was hanging off and tricky for the kids to get out. Also, the restaurant staff seemed a bit stretched; some extra help might make a big difference. Still, overall, a great holiday spot that well keep coming back to!

Honestly, we were a bit nervous after reading some dodgy reviews, but our stay was pretty good. The lodge was spacious, clean and comfy. Sure, a few cleaning touches from staff could improve, but overall, it was a decent experience.

We booked a specific caravan style but ended up with a different one, which was a bit strange. One wardrobe in a bedroom was broken, but we didnt need it anyway. Still, it was a lovely holiday-we'll definitely return!

We stayed at the holiday park recently and honestly, it was okay for the price. The swimming pool was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed the evening entertainment, which was a real plus. The on-site shop was pretty rubbish though-selection was limited and not very well stocked. The fish and chip shop never seemed to be open, which was disappointing, especially since the menu listed it. We also noticed some issues in the accommodation: missing wallpaper in the bedroom, a missing cupboard door in the kitchen and a towel holder just left on the bathroom floor. The blind in the bathroom was down too. Staff on site were mostly friendly and helpful, but the reception manager was quite rude, which was a bit of a downer. Overall, not bad, but could do with some improvements.

We had a really good time overall. Theres plenty to keep everyone entertained, no matter their age. The staff were friendly and quick to bring our meals, which was a plus. The breakfast was absolutely delicious-definitely the highlight! The only downside was on the Sunday when we went to the restaurant. We saw 'Sunday Lunch' on the menu, so naturally, we all went for it. Sadly, they didnt actually serve Sunday lunch, even though it was quite clearly listed. Plus, quite a few other dishes were unavailable that day. Still, the meals we did get were well-cooked and tasty, so it wasnt a total letdown. Wed happily go back!

Our stay at White Acres had its ups and downs, really. The location of our accessible caravan was spot on, which was great and we did enjoy the nightly Bingo - its always a good laugh. But, honestly, there were quite a few things that put a dampener on the trip. When we arrived, there was a really strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom and we noticed thick black hair hanging from the drain, which was a bit gross. The bed sheets werent exactly spotless either - there was a slight stain on one of them. Another minor annoyance was only having one mug for hot drinks; its not much, but its the little things! We also had no drainage rack, so drying our plates and cutlery was a bit of a hassle. I called the park about the drain issue, but they said they couldnt do anything that day and would sort it out in the morning. When no one showed up, I rang again - they finally unblocked the drain but left the hair in there, which I had to remove myself. They didnt bring extra mugs or a draining rack either, so we just gave up asking. Its a shame because the location is lovely, but some basic things could really be improved!
