White Acres

White Acres houses a collection of holiday caravans and lodges in a beautiful setting in Newquay,  in the North of Cornwall.  This park has been rated 5 stars by Visit Britain and would suit families and couples looking for a Cornwall self catering break within a gorgeous 184 acres of countryside.  We really think the location of this park is hard to beat!

White Acres is well known for it's amazing angling facilities but of course that's not all there is on offer here.  You will find enough fun and activities to keep the whole family entertained.  Just some of the highlights include the indoor heated swimming pool, Agility Course, Gym,Toddlers Pool and Beautician on site.  For family fun we love the Mini 10-pin Bowlingo and the Crazy Golf.  Some activities are subject to an extra charge.  If you like the outdoors then check out the nature trail.

In addition to the above, children can also take advantage of the funtastic Kids' Clubs.  The Star Landers are for the under 10s whereas the Freestyle Club is suited to 10-15 year olds (available in the summer only).  Children can make new friends and learn new skills all at the same time.

When it's time to relax head for Polkerris Bar, Pizzeria and Grill for a delicious choice of food and drinks.  In the evening the Lakeside Club with cabaret is the place to be.

The lodge accommodation is spacious and well laid out.  For larger families we love the 3 Bedroom Woodland lodge with one double and two twin bedrooms. Sleeping 8 in total there are plenty of mod cons to make your stay a home from home.  Another option is the Penrose Lodge which sleeps 6 and comes with fridge freezer and washing machine.

As an alternative you could book to stay in one of the comfortable caravans on the site. New in 2011 the Kenwyn Caravan sleeps 8 and is excellent value for money.  It has the added bonus of a Verandah with outdoor furniture.
