Poor, dirty and covered in urine

Caravan was not very clean , signal is awful even after being told by reception to call a number to help but you cant even do that without signal .The booking app doesnt work so when you arrive to use facilities you cant we had very disappointed children that couldnt go swimming all week ,The evening entertainment again not enough seating so couldnt enjoy this either for the week , There are only two pool tables and we witnessed fights brake out over the same people hogging the tables , would also make sure you take change (£1,2ps) as most of the note changing machines dont work so you cant then use the arcade and cant get any change from anywhere else .

We book the same caravan and its all good

We stayed in a caravan that allows dogs so on arrival there was a smell of dog coming from furniture. 6 berth we found quite small as there wasnt a lot of storage and due to the bad weather we ended up with lots of shoes in the door way. Overall a nice caravan to stay in with a dog.

We work more than happy with our stay at White Acres. The caravan was in an perfect location and everything was clean and tidy with staff always happy to help.One thing I would say was that the sheets and bedding were a little damp smelling this I can put down to being very early in the season, as it was February when I visited this park but I don't feel an adequate excuse. This aside I would definitely like to revisit this location as the weather was appalling and it didn't give us time to properly look at the camp ind detail or to visit some of the things available to customers.

Lodge was spacious and on the whole very clean, just a couple of dusty areas behind bathroom doors which were missed. Having towels provided was a pleasant surprise as I thought just bed stuff included. Great to have full size fridge and a washing machine. Location of lodge by lake was lovely. Only downside was not being able to park beside and the paths and ramp to the lodges were extremely slippery and the grass was like a boggy muddy mess!

We've just returned from a wonderful week at white acres. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. Massive thank you to Leanne, Elle & Melissa who went out of their way to change our accommodation (after a booking issue on our behalf) to allow us a more comfortable stay. We will be returning again next year. Keep up the hardwork.

Awful place nothing like on the youtube video housekeeping awful nobody answers the out of hours help number had no bedding all week for on of the rooms never again will I go there

This is our third year and we are back in for next year! We really enjoyed our holiday there are just a couple of things to note. Just need some maintenance guy to go round and check the lodges, Our gate to the lodge was falling off the hinges and was hard for my kids getting an out, Restaurant staff seem to be overworked Looked like do with an extra pair of hands or 2?

I was very worried about coming after I heard so many bad reviews but we could not fault our lodge. It was comfortable clean and lots of space. Some attention required to certain aspects of cleaning by the staff.

We had to clean caravan when we arrived, the sofa was badly stained along with the carpet, bed sheets were stained we complained but they werent changed, we have been going to whiteacres for around 20 years and it was the worst caravan we have ever stayed in

I did book one style caravan and got another which was a bit odd. The wardrobe was broken in one of the bedrooms but we didnt need to use it. It was a lovely holiday and definitely going back

Shame as booked this caravan for my husband who just come out of Stroke rehap The caravan wasnt where the booking map they sent me showed .It was shown as the lake Jenny's lake woukd be behind it .Which I thought is great as his a fisherman and now left not being able to walk or use his left arm , it ment we wouldnt hav far to get him to the lake . WELL the caravan was right by the park entrance and so was left having to push him a very long way and on way back was then up a steep hill. Showing the caravan in one place and finding it in another is shocking . Guess what the answer to my complaint was --- was a old map they send out !!! So b warned you dont get the caravan you see when booking ....my daughter booked another caravan and they got a different one to what they thought they were booking !

Despite being a newer 2020 lodge, its already showing signs of bad wear and tear. Sofa was ripped and dirty. In the main bedroom, already signs of damp patches on the walls. The walls are paper thin between the bedrooms, similar to what you would have in a caravan.

Paid nearly £2000 for a fistral lodge not overly clean door to bedroom didn't shut balcony stained. The restaurant and arcade area need updating chairs are dirty ceiling coming down in places bucket catching rain water and do not buy food quite expensive and disgusting.

Holiday park was ok. Good childrens evening entertainment . Shop on site rubbish Swimming pool greatFish and chip shop on site never open. Dont have any staff. Dont service fish and chips in other restaurant even though on menu, staff said this is because there is the fish and chip shop. But that is never open. Missing wallpaper in bedroom: Missing a cupboard door in kitchen Towel holder on floor in bath roomBlind down in bath roomHoliday was ok for price . Staff on site were helpful a nice apart from the manager in reception: she was very rude.

Had an excellent time lots to do for all ages on the site.Only drawback was when we went to the restaurant on the Sunday we noticed various Sunday lunches on the menu on the tables everyone decided on the Sunday lunch only to find that the didnt do Sunday lunch ? Even though it was on the menu headed Sunday Lunch Menu then we noticed that a great amount of meals on the menu were unavailable.The available meals were cooked well and delivered to the table in a very short time with very pleasant staffOnly shame was the lack of meal options when we were there.Breakfast delicious !. ????

Great but needed a clean during week with large family

I recently stayed at White Acres and had a mixed experience. Although the location of our accessible caravan was perfect and the nightly Bingo was a lot of fun, there were some issues that detracted from our stay. On arriving at our caravan, there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom that stunk, and we found thick black hair hanging from the drain. The bed sheet was slightly stained, and we only had one mug for our hot drinks. There was also no drainage rack, so our cutlery, plates, and cups were not drying properly. When I rang the park's number to explain the situation, they said they couldn't do anything that day but would do first thing tomorrow. The next day, no one arrived, so I rang again. They came straight away, unblocked the drain, but did not remove the hair, which I had to do myself. They never brought me more mugs for tea and coffee and did not bring a draining board. They just didn't seem to care so I didn't bother asking them again.
