We stayed in the cabin recently and really enjoyed it overall. It had a super cosy vibe and all the kitchen stuff we needed for meals. The bed was comfy, though the pillows were a bit lumpy. The sofas werent the best and a hairdryer or some coasters wouldve been a nice touch. Still, a lovely stay!

Had a lovely stay! The cottage was spotless and cosy. The bed was a bit on the small side - probably a small double - but overall, very comfortable. Would come back!

We spent a lovely week at the Vale of York staying in the Lily cabin. The staff really made us feel welcome, super friendly and easy to chat with. The cabin itself was spotless and had everything we needed, especially for cooking - it was well stocked. We loved spending time by the lake, doing a bit of fishing and just soaking up the peaceful vibe. The walk into the nearby village was only about 10 minutes, though some of the grass was a bit long, but its no big deal - you can hop on and off the road easily. We had a fantastic meal at the Ship Inn, which is a cosy pub in the village and later we drove to Wigginton for a few afternoons in their lovely beer garden. Getting into York was simple, just a short bus ride from opposite the pub. Overall, we had a cracking time and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break!
