The lodge was immaculate, the hot tub was lovely and spotlessly clean. The decking with furniture was great we were lucky to have great weather so we used it.

If I could give it 6 stars I would! Beautiful lodge, credit to the owners, they really have supplied above and beyond.I would request lodge 43 as it's so peaceful there and you are not overlooked when using the hot tub

Lovely lodge! We have just rebooked for another weekend getaway. Very clean and spacious. Lovely decor. (My husband has named the black and white statues in the bathrooms as BooberElla :D. Brilliant hot tub. This lodge is in a fantastic location, tucked up the corner out of the way. This has really relaxed me this past weekend as I suffer from very high anxiety, and being a dementia carer it has really done me good. There is lights located outside of the lodge if you should use the hot tub in the dark. (If you come out of the lodge the switch is to the left on the decking fence. You will see a black box it is the first one as you come out of the lodge). We didnt spot it until the night after and I know a few reviews state there could be lights. There is, you just need to keep looking :) Recommend if you want peace and quiet.

This was a perfect lodge . We were only the two of us so we had lots of space . The lodge is beautiful, modern , comfortable and extremely clean .We also had a utility room which was great .The outside space was comfortable and we made the most of the hot tub.The lodges are thoughtfully spaced so you are not close to your neighbours.Perfect in every way

Nice lodge. Mattress needs replacing and the sofa was a bit low for us. Needs a clock in the lounge/ dining room and bins in the bathrooms. TV complicated to work. A Freeview one via the internet would have been easier. Also a TV in the bedroom would have been nice. Apart from that all was lovely.

We stayed in a Sycamore Lodge for 4 nights in August. The Lodge itself was clean and well maintained, the sofas and beds comfy. Only critism of the Lodge was that both bathrooms are on the smaller size which is difficult when trying to wash a child, but we made it work. Also, next doors hot tub kept turning on at 3.20am every morning which was a bit annoying. The landscape is beautiful and the area really quiet. Not much for children to do on site but lots of things nearby. We especially enjoyed Highley outdoor pool, Bridgnorth, Highley Station & Engine House and NT Cromer Woods. We LOVED the Astbury Monopoly!

The cottage on arrival looked good but it was in need of redecorating and new windows and patio doors. The 2nd double bedroom isn't really big enough for a double bed, as it left very little floor space and no room for hanging storage. The cottage is very close to the workers storage and they start early on very noisy quad bikes.

Lovely lodge with comfy beds and sofas. Fully equipped kitchen it even has a washing machine. Could maybe do with some blackout blinds to darken the bedrooms.

Great two weeks - only recommendation would be to supply a fan, parasol and softer lighting in sitting area eg lamp. Otherwise perfect ????

Hoseaundersell this property, the addition of a bbq and washing machine weren't listed but we're a welcome bonus. Both toilets are a bit cramped but can't be helped I guess. Outside space amazing with fab hot tub. Could perhaps include some shade and they may need to to look into a way of minimising the wasps.

We stayed in the redwood vip lodge for my mum's 70th birthday which was amazing and so well set up! It even had a utility room with a washing machine, drying rack, hoover and all bedrooms were ensuite. The hot tub was so nice and we all enjoyed that. The car parking space was just outside so very convenient. A few things to note and maybe needs improvement is that the lodge is for 6 people but the pots and pans were fairly small for so many people. We were not aware that pool towels for the hot tub were not provided. It would have been great if they could have been provided so we weren't using the same towel for showers and hot tub. Or not ideal but if were at least told in advance to bring pool towels. There were a lot of flies and wasps so it was hard to keep the doors open but the lodge was so hot we needed air. So definitely feel something should be provided to keep flies away. The weather when we went was incredibly hot and the lodge itself was unbearable, luckily we had taken fans with us but feel this is something that should have been provided.Lastly, not all bathrooms had toilet brushes or bins.Otherwise definitely recommend!

Fantastic break the lodge is of a very high standard beautiful interior Peaceful and picturesque setting The beds where not as comfortable as would have liked and fans would have been great as the lodge gets extremely hot in the summer months Lighting up the steps and around the hot tub would have been useful as lighting is limited on an eveningHad several meals at the Aspery house 5 star food and service But over all I would stay again definitely

The lodge was dog friendly and lovely apart from the carpet which was disappointingly dirty. All it needed was a more regular shampoo. The outside table did not have an umbrella and as I have had a malignant melanoma I no longer sit in the sun. An umbrella would have been very welcome.

Very nice location, four adults occupied the lodge & had ample space. Slight issue with the shower tray not draining & flooding the bathroom, we reported this to the staff who were most apologetic, fortunately the lodge has two bathrooms.

We absolutely loved our lodge and had an incredible week. The weather was spectaculara delightful bonusmaking this already fantastic location even better. The facilities were first-class, the golf course was impeccably maintained, and the surrounding area offered plenty of charming towns and fascinating landmarks to discover.

The website and promotional images do not do this site justice, it is far nicer then the promotional representation shoes. Which came as a wonderful surprise as we drove up the main gates, even more so when we checked in and the lodge was wonderful. We booked this site/ short break as a last minute getaway, Im halfway between multiple surgeries and I needed a change of scenery. Because we were so last minute this was the only choice available that was dog friendly in the Bridgenorth area. So we took a punt. Had we had choices we probably would have been swayed by prettier pictures of other cottages, thank goodness we didnt! We would have missed out on a lovely treat, the walks and surroundings are absolutely beautiful with dog friendly walks everywhere. Our two eight month old puppies loved it, theyve rarely been into a town and never to a city so they felt at home instantly, loving the woodland and grassy hills for runs. The food at the Astbury was lovely, which meant we could stay local, there was little need to go out. With phenomenal care from all who worked there its made us look into the lodges with a different view point, I can see the draw of having a bolt hole there. The lodge itself was simple, effective and extremely well provided. Again the photos did not do it justice. And everyone was lovely, so friendly and kind. This break was an absolute tonic for us and if youre looking at the images and wondering if it will be ok, just book it, you will not be disappointed as for once the promotional information undersells and doesnt do justice to this beautiful place.

We stayed there as I was working in Birmingham. The week previous we booked a house in the city that was twice the price and was awful. Even though I ended up with a 1 hour commute to work it was amazing. My partner worked from the lodge and the WIFI was great. The lodge was very comfortable and clean. It was in great condition, felt brand new. The hot tub was a nice addition to relax in after a long day. Our dog was secure with a gate on the decking. Also great site for walking dogs. The bar and restaurant is a great place to relax, watching golfers tee off on the 1st and finish on the par 3 18th, which is a great finishing hole with the tee shot having to clear a small lake. The food is top notch too.All in all a great experience and we will be back as soon as possible.Highly recommended.
