Clun Valley is close to Offa's Dyke, Ludlow and the Welsh border - and set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with gorgeous views. Beautiful walks, stunning cycle rides and amazing wildlife are right on your doorstep, plus you're just a five minute walk from the little village of Clunton with its local shops and cosy village pub.

Shropshire has a lot to offer visitors - from outdoor activities like fishing, golf and hang gliding to a real step back in time at the amazing Blists Hill Victorian Town in Telford. You could take a trip to the Mousetrap Cheese Dairy in Hereford to watch cheese being made by hand or enjoy some bowling at Grove Golf and Bowl in Leominster.

Clun Valley has a selection of beautifully designed one and two bedroom lodges. Chestnut Lodge is a gorgeous luxury lodge with views over the River Clun from the outdoor decking area and a charming Jack and Jill bathroom, in between 2 bedrooms.

Ludlow is a flourishing market town with a superb choice of restaurants. It's well known for its winding streets, annual festivals and fantastic castle.

Overall no problems. But disappointed with a couple of aspects. The WiFi was hopeless, until half way through the week. Looks like the previous guests had hit a cap on usage, and it had gone off. There was no dishcloths, and the kettle needed a serious de-scaling. Other than that no problems at all. All nice and warm, clean and fresh.
