A very relaxing holiday. Plenty of places to visit.

Date of stay: 14th July 2019
Absolutely fabulous - we stayed in the large lodge with family and friends group (all adults) and it worked perfectly. Large enough kitchen and lounge for family to sit round and eat and chat. Lots of showers and toilets. So impressed we plan to go back.

Fabulous break away from it all. Lovely lodge, friendly staff, clean and had everything that we needed. Wifi was weak, which was fine for me but my two teenage children struggled with it. Lovely woodland walk on site, and very close to the Welsh boarder we got out and about every day on adventures and had wonderful BBQ's in the evenings back at the lodge.

I think the lodge could have done with a dryer to dry towels and swimwear after using the hot tub.

Had such a great time. We stayed in the Oak Woodland lodge and it was really nice, clean and big enough for 8 adults.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Wed definitely like to return here.

One of the showers leaked onto the bathroom floor quite a lot but this was the only minor issue.

Date of stay: 24th August 2018
Never had such a relaxing holiday it was our third holiday of the summer after two very busy ones this was perfect to relax before summer ended
Robert, Gillingham, Dorset
Date of stay: 24th August 2018
We booked with a discount so the value for money was very good. The lodge was very comfortable and the only real criticism was the rather tired state of the exterior, which a fresh coat of surface treatment would easily rectify. All in all we found the lodge to be a very welcome place to return to after extremely tiring days visiting the many points of interest in the surrounding area.
Helen, Derby
Date of stay: 20th August 2018

Brilliant stay at the woodland park lodges for us! The day before we arrived a lady from reception phoned me to ask what time we were arriving, as we were arriving after they closed they told us everything we needed to know about accessing the lodge and gave us some directions. We stayed in the cedar lodge that slept 6 people with no pets, upon arrival there is a short walk to the lodge from the car park, around 500m. We couldn't believe the size of it when we arrived, very impressed. 3 large bedrooms with plenty of space to store your belongings. Kitchen and living area are large and well equipped, only downside was only 2 toilet rolls for 6 people for a 3 night stay. Not a massive issue as there is a Tesco in the town around 3 miles away. The lodge itself was clean and all bedding was fresh and comfortable. There were a few spiders/moths etc. But that's what you expect being in the middle of a forest, no problem for us. The hot tub area was clean and very secluded at our lodge, the ph levels were checked every morning we were there by the groundsman and asked if we had any problems. Overall we had a brilliant stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend woodland park lodges to any of our friends and family. We look forward to returning, but for a week next time! Thourghly enjoyable and relaxing stay to recharge your batteries. 5

We stayed in Elm lodge which was well equipped and spacious. We were there for the hottest week of the year but luckily both the lodge and the hot tub were in the shade! Theres not much to see or do in Ellesmere except for the mere which is beautiful and the Boathouse restaurant next to it where we had a lovely lunch but theres loads of places in driving distance - we went to Shrewsbury and Chester Zoo. There are some great pubs in the area too particularly the Burlton Inn and the Cross Foxes. The lodges are perfect if youre looking for a quiet and peaceful woodland setting but maybe not for you if you want lots to do on your doorstep.
Linda, Stalybridge
Date of stay: 29th June 2018
Would recommend to anyone.
Jennifer, Manchester
Date of stay: 29th June 2018
The lodge was lovely, well equipped kitchen, nice hot tub and comfy beds. Tv signal was rubbish at times but not that bothered. A fence closing the back of the property would have been ideal so the dogs could come and go as they pleased.

lovely large lodge hot tub a must so quiet and relaxing if want to go out in the evening head to wrexham lively place loved the best of both
A very enjoyable stay, with my family, 5 adults plus our 1 year old grandson. It was a chill weekend we enjoyed a well equipped and spacious log cabin. Hot tub was a big attraction, for the adults. We had a 3 night stay Friday until Monday. I forgot to pack my charger for my iPad and the very nice lady on reception, kindly posted it out to me, received in a couple of days. We would definitely stay again and high recommended.
Our 3rd stay for a long weekend at 3 different lodges. Perfect location quiet private get away. Beautiful lodges and fantastic hot tubs. I will definitely be back.
A fantastic holiday we had in March 2018. The cabin was immaculate and a nice welcome from the staff at the park. Jacuzzi was great and was used every day, nice looking out at the trees and stars in the night time whilst lovely and warm in the hot tub. Nice walks straight from the lodges and only 10 mins drive from Ellesmere and Colemere, both have nice walks around them. Will definitely be returning, we had a very relaxing and peaceful break.
Great lodge, fully equipped and lots of room for a family of 5. The hot tub was a great addition.
Fabulous place calm, quiet serene, lovely place to relax.
we had a relaxing and restful time, thank you
Lovely and quiet for a family getaway
A lovely quiet location for a weekend break. Having a hot tub made a real difference and the lodge was lovely and warm all of the time
Lovely lodge in a peaceful woodland location. Cosy and comfortable with a fantastic hot tub. Lovely woodland walks, great if you're looking for some relaxation away from it all. The family had a great time here, we will definitely return.
We had a lovely break at our woodland lodge. The hot tub was amazing and the setting was beautiful. The lodge was modern and comfortable the only reason I didn’t give this 10 was the bathroom. If felt like an afterthought to the rest of the lodge. I would definitely recommend holidaying here though.
Wonderful place can not wait to vist again soon.
Been twice now to the same lodge! Looking forward to going again.
Fantastic stay. Extreamly value for money.
