Lodge was amazing, the only thing lacking was enough crockery and cutlery. The lodge sleeps 4 and we were only 2 people and constantly ran out of plates and mugs.

The lodge was well appointed and generally had everything I needed. I would have liked somewhere to hang wet towels and swimming costumes as there was a hot tub, other than that it was great. Although it was very strange that it was a two bedroom, two bathroom lodge but you were only allowed 2 guests.

We've just had a really lovely stay at this holiday park. The location was quiet and peaceful. The lodge was immaculate. It probably helped that we picked a good week weather wise to go but I think even if it had been raining we would have still enjoyed it. The swimming pool was a bonus and there was a wonderful restaurant called The Croft which was about a minutes' walk from our lodge, if that, which served really nice food. Our only very minor negative points would be that we were a little disappointed that when we arrived at The Croft on the Tuesday night at 8pm we were told that the chef had finished for the evening and I missed a dressing table in the lodge but these are only very minor things and wouldn't make me change the scores I have given. We would definitely return in the future.

Very disappointed with lodge location at the rear just looking at a hedge and wooden fence ,the front looks at another lodge and a main road through a pine wood. The town of Shrewsbury is lovely with great shops and tourist attractions ,This site is just. Not for us too many restrictions and extra payments for what we think should be included in the lodge price,

We had the chestnut lodge. The lodge was well equipped and clean. The bed was hard although I slept very well. The hot tub was dated but functional as you could alter the temperature to suit your needs.

We stayed at Chestnut Lodge and really enjoyed it. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was a bit firm, but surprisingly comfy enough to get a good sleep. The hot tub was a bit old-fashioned, but worked fine and we could set the temperature just right!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The team really made us feel welcome, especially with the thoughtful touch of tea, coffee and biscuits upon arrival. The Prosecco gift was a lovely surprise for our special day. Wed definitely return soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge; it was super comfy, warm and in a lovely spot. The place had a cosy vibe, which we appreciated after busy days out visiting relatives and exploring. A couple of small things could make it even better, like adding hooks for robes and towels in the bathroom and near the hot tub. Also, more cutlery and crockery would help with the dishwasher. Wi-Fi boosters would be a great addition too, as the signal was a bit patchy outside the reception area. Overall, a great stay!

Overall, quite pleased. Noticed a tiny rip in the chair, which reception already knew about due to age and use, so no worries there. Nice touch with the bubbly too!
