One of the best breaks we have had! Me and my partner stay here Thurs-Monday and it was absolutely amazing! The lodge was huge and lovely! We had a meal at the restaurant on sit Frid night and the food was perfect and the staff were so helpful and friendly could not fault anything one bit! We hope to return again sometime 100%.

Lovely lodge and hot tub
Date of stay: 10th August 2018
Had a really nice time away.
The lodge had everything we needed. It was clean, spacious, the hot tub was nice and relaxing.
There was a complimentry bottle of prosecco which was a nice touch.
A very quiet site, great for relaxing and unwinding.

Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
A large lodge well appointed. The bedrooms and lounge area were very comfortable, with everything you could need. The shower on suite was a little bit tired and probably could do with an upgrade, although work ok and perfectly clean. A superb TV in the lounge but not sure why it was fitted so high up on the wall as you needed to sit far back to prevent a stiff neck. Overall it was a very comfortable lodge.
Date of stay: 2nd April 2018
Excellent lodge. Very clean. Hot tub great.
Date of stay: 19th February 2018
Fabulous weekend everything we needed was there, just needed a bit more oomph in the hot tub bubbles
Julie, Stoke On Trent
Date of stay: 5th February 2018
Excellent lodge. Would book again.
Date of stay: 4th February 2018
Clean and spacious. The central heating turns of after a period of time and so has to be turned back on, if too cold during winter time.
Date of stay: 29th January 2018
The lodge was lovely with everything you needed to enjoy it including a hot tub but when we want to use the hot tub which is mainly in the evening we were told we couldn't.
Date of stay: 2nd January 2018
Lovely lodge immaculate with all mod cons and all bedding and utensils you might need.
Dawn, Stoke On Trent

Date of stay: 20th November 2017
Lodge spotless clean and hottub very relaxing.
Date of stay: 29th October 2017
Lovely lodge. Well maintained and clean and comfortable.
Hot tub controls were locked, so water temperature couldn't be adjusted. This meant the water temperature was actually too cold, particularly for the time of year.
Date of stay: 27th October 2017
A few issues with a light on the blink and slight lack of storage- but generally very nice.

Excellent time plenty to see and do in a30mile raius
Date of stay: 1st July 2017
The lodge was lovely and spacious and especially welcoming with the little extras provided by the site but the hot tub was a little tired
Date of stay: 24th June 2017
The only issue we had was the power went off one evening at 10:30 and we were unable to contact anyone via the intercom system till the next morning
Date of stay: 29th May 2017
This is certainly a premier lodge, my husband said it was the best we'd ever stayed in and we've been in a few. On closure inspection there were a few cobwebs which should have been removed by the housekeeping team, but these didn't distract from the overall feeling. Kitchen was well equipped, lounge comfortable, bedroom large and ensuite shower powerful and warm. Even able to switch on shower from side of bed, no risk of a cold shower! Hot tub was powerful and warm, but not hot. Was fine for two, but feel if four people staying, it would be difficult to sit outside together, two separate first floor balconies, both fine for two, not sure four would fit. The hot tub area had a window to the garage, which surprisingly is used by the cleaning staff to charge the golf buggies they use to move around site, we didn't see them, but could happen if you are in hot tub when they move buggies. Hire bikes were also stored in garage, which worried us, so left car out on drive, ok in Summer, but not so good if weather bad. Don't let this put you off going, still enjoyed.
Date of stay: 26th May 2017
Brilliant, as above.
Date of stay: 24th April 2017
As stated above a very clean and quiet park.
Date of stay: 3rd April 2017
The lodge was extremely clean, with all facilities as advertised. I was concerned about the cleanliness as it was 'dog friendly' but needn't have worried as the lodge was immaculate & 'no doggy smells'. The site was also lovely & very well maintained.
I had read reviews about being too many 'rules & regs' on site, but they were pretty standard common sense rules which I would expect any site to have. I was also made fully aware of arrival times, no vans etc before I went, so no surprises.
Hot tub was clean & private, the site was very quiet. The only slight thing is that there aren't really any pubs/restaurants in easy walking distance, so car or taxi is needed in the evening unless you go to restaurant on site.
Tracy, Llandudno Junction

Lovely and relaxing
Date of stay: 24th March 2017
Superb lodge top of the range facilities and fittings apart from the black leather three piece suite which in my opinion needs replacing
Date of stay: 13th March 2017
The lodge was lovely inside but hot tub area was not in a private area as indicated in the pictures.
Date of stay: 6th March 2017

Date of stay: 16th December 2016
Chestnut lodge was very nice, clean and well appointed, it was mid December when we stayed and there and when we arrived in the dark the fire was on for us and a Christmas tree with the lights on was a lovely touch, we had flowers and wine awaiting us too, the hot tub was a delight and checked every day very discreetly by someone for cleanliness which is reassuring.
The bed was comfortable and the en suite shower was roomy and powerful, the leather reclining furniture was like home from home.
Date of stay: 21st November 2016
Nice lodge not as clean as you would expect from all the rules and regulations.
Date of stay: 31st October 2016
The lodge was great with the addition of the private hot tub. Place settings were limited within the kitchen but was just right for our party of three. Fixtures and and fitting were of a good standard and comfortable, all areas were clean and pleasant. Parking for one car right next to the front door, great outlook to the lake with it's ducks.

Beaconsfield Park Lodge, Chestnut 4.
We had a lovely week, the lodge was clean and tidy, with an modern interior. The hot tub facility was keep clean and useable. The swimming room and sauna were of very good quality and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. We had a great time and would definitely visit here again. Thank you.
Date of stay: 5th August 2016
Excellent value . Site well maintained and a great way to relax and unwind .
Date of stay: 29th July 2016
Site was deserted. No people on there. Pool has restricted hours. Cafe had no food. Restaurant /bar only open weekends. Left early because or the atmosphere. Apart from that the lodge was pristine. Will not book again.

Date of stay: 30th May 2016
Amazing lodge. Very comfortable and spacious.
Date of stay: 13th May 2016
A well equipped log cabin. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was super and the view of the lake was wonderful.
Date of stay: 12th February 2016
Wrekin Lodge was lovely.Only criticism I've got is that as part of their Autograph Range we have the use of towelling robes for the hot tub. However, on arrival at Beaconsfield Park,we found that we had to hire them. Beaconsfield staff were very helpful tho and did look into the matter for us.
Date of stay: 8th February 2016
Really lovely quiet place to stay that is more than relaxing, very clean and tidy upon arrival, great help from staff helping me to find the location of the site in the dark, and help to use the awesome hot tub that was perfect and right on the door step of the lodge. There was a lovely bottle of wine left for us, milk in the fridge and clean towels and toiletries on the bed waiting for us. It was more than comfortable! The restaurant food was beautiful and the staff were lovely too, a chap we met in the steam room raved about the food and he was right after spending years coming to the site. Nice country walks on hand and nice little local pubs in walking distance too, will defiantly look to stay again.
Date of stay: 4th December 2015
Very welcoming & christmassy on our arrival , bed was comfy and of course loved the hot tub

hestnut had everything we needed. Everything was modern and clean, the hot tub was a lovely added bonus! There wasn't much to do around the area so we did have to travel to attractions but the leaflets provided were helpful for ideas as to where we could go.
Date of stay: 12th October 2015
Chestnut lodge was spotless , high end fixtures and fittings and an amazing place to stay location next to lake was beautiful.

Fantastic relaxing break
Date of stay: 31st August 2015
Peaceful and chilled was just what we were looking for.
Date of stay: 17th August 2015
The privacy screen around the hot tub could be massively improved and the "Rules" stating no use of the Hot Tub after dusk meant the highlight of our stay was very much affected. We mentioned this on leaving only to discover it is advisory only! Wish we'd known that on arrival. Otherwise good.
Date of stay: 14th August 2015
Really nice lodge
Date of stay: 8th August 2015
Lodge was great very tidy and really comfy beds . Made you feel at home straight away . Only downside is the hot tub situated where it is . No access straight off the lodge . You have to walk through lodge wet to get changed . But not a big deal overall . Very pleased .
Date of stay: 7th August 2015
Lovely clean spacious accommodation. Good location for sightseeing. The lodge we had was in a nice spot with a secluded hot tub. Staff were very helpful.
Date of stay: 27th July 2015

We had a wonderful holiday. Accommodation was beautiful. It was very clean and we had a welcome bottle of wine and flowers on arrival. Staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The hot tub was great. We would definitely return. Fishing was very good too.
Date of stay: 15th June 2015
Location of the lodge (near to main road) meant that traffic noise could be heard from both inside and outside the lodge. We had hoped for total peace and quiet!
Date of stay: 11th May 2015
Fantastic break. Would definitely go again. Lovely place. Clean. Everything you need in the lodge.
Date of stay: 23rd March 2015

Date of stay: 8th December 2014
Nice lodge. Most things worked properly. Freestanding bath really nice
Date of stay: 24th November 2014
Lovely place and lodges were 1st class. Definitely stay there again.
Date of stay: 17th November 2014
Lodge gave the WOW factor upon arrival and was very clean and comfortable. Location of our lodge (No 18) did back onto the main highway and you could hear the noise at night with the windows open which did disturb our sleep.Rule on None usage of the hottub after dusk spoilt the excitement of having access to the private hottub.
Date of stay: 10th November 2014
Gorgeous, i usually feel anxious staying in self catering accomodatin but there was no need. It was spotless!
Date of stay: 1st November 2014
After a hectic few weeks before we arrived, this was a lovely caravan to stay in and just relax for the first couple of days. (After that, there were plenty of places to visit around the area).
Date of stay: 1st November 2014
Very good break total relaxation
Date of stay: 24th October 2014
Clean, comfortable lodge
Date of stay: 20th October 2014
Accommodation was very good, except that the cleaning at high level could have been better.
Diana, Hayling Island
Date of stay: 4th October 2014
Lovely accommodation and very peaceful. We were not disturbed at all and were able to relax completely. A hot-tub was also provided.
Date of stay: 18th August 2014
the accomodation was good and to a high standard, however, the jaccuzi was dirty, and there were far too many restrictions, such as not being able to go into it in the evening, which is when you would really like to go into it, also was not happy having to strip off the beds, we had paid for this in our cleaning bill when we paid, overall a nice place, no kids, would come back maybe if they had a really good deal and a clean jacuzzi
Date of stay: 15th August 2014
Excellent lodge very happy with it
Date of stay: 15th August 2014
Accommodation was excellent.
Date of stay: 9th August 2014
Great lodge. Hot tub could be a degree hotter.
Date of stay: 18th July 2014
Good location for exploring Shropshire/Iron Bridge. Staff friendly. Caravan in very good condition. Slightly basic in entertainment or maybe we didn't fully explore everything (just the 4 days), but it is listed as "quiet". Might not for be suitable for those with adventurous kids.
Geoffrey, Battle, Hastings.
Date of stay: 5th July 2014
Enjoyed our holiday very much, and we loved the 'show house style' lodge.
Date of stay: 31st May 2014
Date of stay: 19th May 2014
The lodge was first class, everything you needed.
Loved the complimentary bottle of wine, nice touch.
Valerie, Bognor Regis
Date of stay: 17th May 2014
The lodge was comfortable, warm and pleasantly situated with space between units and trees and shrubs to add to privacy. There was little light pollution , but noise from the busy road passing nearbye.
We appreciated the fresh flowers and bottle of wine on arrival, a nice touch. ( included in price!)
Date of stay: 21st April 2014
we had a very relaxed weekend just what we needed. the Wrekin premier lodge was more than we expected, all the staff could not have done more they are very helpful, the park is well kept and well run , we will be going back very soon .
Date of stay: 31st March 2014
Wrekin lodge was excellent. Never been to a lodge with an upstairs before and its put me off standard single storey units.
Loads of space for 4/only downside was a well worn settee and creaking shower pipes in the 2 nd bedroom
Date of stay: 22nd March 2014
Beaconsfield Park is a very peaceful and beautifully kept place to take a break, with superbly specified and spotlessly clean accommodation. We had a wonderful week based there, with easy access to a large number of National Trust properties including the fabulous Attingham Park only minutes away. The Sparrow's Cafe just up the road at the Battle 1403 site serves an excellent Farm Shop cooked breakfast for very reasonable prices too! We went to a great concert at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury during our stay (a superb venue) and found the whole area to have plenty to explore. A great week away!
Date of stay: 7th February 2014
Two story lodge, lots of space - perfect!
Date of stay: 2nd December 2013
This was a small adult only break away for my husbands 40th birthday and it was everything we wanted it to be and more! The lodge was beautiful, clean and homely with the added bonus of a fantastic hot tub and free bottle of wine! We will defiantly be returning in the near future.
Date of stay: 22nd November 2013
Great lodge - absolutley luxurious but - heating not so good. Really felt cold sometimes. Nowhere to put wet coats and shoes on entering lodge - needs a 'lobby' area. If using hot tub difficult to enter lodge living area in wet swim suits. Needs larger floor towels.
Otherwise a great lodge.
Excellent quiet adult only location. Perfect lodge.
Great location and great facilities as well, wonderful airrival welcoming but the price can be a reduced a bit due to the fact there isn’t many attraction on site
We both enjoyed this park, staff very friendly and helpful, accommodation was spotless, wanted to stay longer, we will be back and can recommend 10/10
We had a lovely weekend at Beaconsfield the staff went above a beyond when our dishwasher broke
It is a lovely place, log cabin was clean and very warm.
Hot tub was great and warm.
Very relaxing place , with ducks in the pond.
The restaurant was not open , which was a disappointing.
If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and have time out this is the place.
We stayed in cabin with direct view to the lake, which was a beautiful scenery to view whilst sitting out on the balcony.
Cleaness and layout of cabin was good value for money, will definately be booking again.
Only advice, if planning to dine at local pub reserve table in advance.
The hot tub is in a secluded location not how it looks in brochure but however clean and private experience (dressing gowns not provided).
Very well layed out cabin has everything you need hot tub was the highlight for us. We would defiantly stay again.
