An absolutely 5* holiday location. We went as a couple with the dog (no kids) and stayed in the honeysuckle treehouse. Couldn't ask for better in any way. Ample parking outside the lodge, EV charger on site, and easy to find using Google maps. Check in was easy, and the staff helped because we had to arrive late. Room was very clean, very tidy, dog friendly, plugs by the bed, microwave and oven all in one with a hob. Toaster and kettle. Washing up liquid and soap provided, along with bin bags etc. Stunning setting and outside is suitably covered so you can still sit out there in the rain. Can't wait to come back.

Absolutely gorgeous little treehouse with gorgeous and peaceful surroundings. The hot was a great bonus too! Staff were very friendly and our we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I will say is they could do with a curtain or something on the archway onto the decking area as you can see into the other tree houses hot tub and they could see into ours, we managed to prop a towel up to block them looking in but a curtain or something would be a great addition to this amazing place!

Treehouse was nice and cosy perfect for couples and doggies. Only small thing I would suggest is having a cover or curtain at the entrance way as we could see into our neighbours balconies and they could see us when we were in the hot tub. Suggestion only it wasnt an issue as we used the hot tub lid to cover the door way

This was very much a last min booking for us and there was a good choice of simular lodges in the Shropshire area, we went for this one for the size of the lodge and the woodland location as I was keen to take some wildlife photos while there. We'd previously stayed at the nearby Henlle Hall years ago when it first opened and we were torn between staying there again or trying somewhere different, we went for different and if we'd never stayed at another lodge this would have scored a 5 out of 5.We've scored a 4 just because there was only the one TV, we like to snuggle up in the bedroom with the TV on, the main TV in the living room only worked with the smart channels, on our last day we worked out why, the previous occupants had obviously wanted a TV in the bedroom and had pulled all the cables out of the TV watched it in the bedroom, returned it to the living room and only plugged it into the mains. The main bathroom shower had one setting 'burn off skin' luckily there are another 2 showers to use that were fine.We stayed in another lodge in North Wales last year and the owners provided tea, coffee and other bits in the kitchen this one only had a pint of milk provided. This lodge did have one of the best hot tubs we've ever used, spotlessly clean and with a working cover. The team also did a great job cleaning the lodge before our stay, it was very clean.Sadly the only wildlife we saw in the woods was a cat.If your looking for a secluded place to stay where you can take your dogs for long walks this is the place for you, I've got a small regret that we didn't stay at Henlle Hall as we missed the resturant, bar and wildlife.

We booked this lodge pretty much last minute and honestly, it was a great choice considering how many similar places there are around Shropshire. We picked this one mainly because of its size and the woodland setting - I was really eager to get some wildlife shots while we were there. Weve stayed at Henlle Hall before when it first opened, so we were debating whether to go back or try somewhere new. In all honesty, if wed never been to another lodge, this one wouldve scored a solid 5 out of 5. The only reason were giving it a 4 is because theres just the one TV. We love snuggling up in the bedroom with the telly on, but the main TV in the living room only worked with the smart channels. We only figured out why on the last day - turns out, previous guests had probably wanted a telly in the bedroom, so they pulled all the cables out of the main TV, watched it in there, then returned it to the lounge and only plugged it into the mains. The bathroom shower was a bit disappointing too - only one setting that felt like 'burn off skin', though luckily there are two other showers that were perfectly fine. We stayed in another lodge in North Wales last year and that owner provided tea, coffee and other essentials, but this place only had a pint of milk waiting for us which was a bit of a letdown. On the bright side, the hot tub was one of the best weve ever used - spotless and with a working cover, which made a big difference. The team did an excellent job cleaning the lodge beforehand; it was spotlessly tidy. Sadly, the only wildlife we spotted was a cat in the woods. If you're after a secluded spot for long dog walks and peace and quiet, then this place is perfect. I do regret we didnt stay at Henlle Hall again - missed the restaurant, bar and the chance to see more wildlife, but overall, it was a lovely stay!

We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the poo bags and dog bins at both ends of the trail - such a simple idea but makes a big difference. The accommodation itself was spacious and comfortable, especially loved the outside balcony with the heater, perfect for chilly days. The kitchen and bathroom were just the right size and well-equipped and the heater kept us cosy. Being dog-friendly was a huge plus, with treats, milk and jam waiting for us - definitely a place wed return to!

We had a great time at Woodland Park for our anniversary. The treehouse was spotlessly clean and so peaceful. Its impossible not to relax there. Hot tub was fab and the Bluetooth speakers and mood lighting were great touches. We did the woodland walk bit muddy but not a problem. 10 mins to local Tesco by car and town of Ellesmere.WiFi was a bit sketchy but not a problem. We will return ????

We had an awesome stay at Woodl and Park for our anniversary! The treehouse was spotless and super peaceful, honestly impossible not to unwind there. The hot tub was brilliant and the Bluetooth speakers plus mood lighting added a nice touch. The woodland walk was a bit muddy, but nothing major. Its only about 10 minutes to Tesco and Ellesmere by car. WiFi was a little patchy, but no big deal. We definitely want to come back!

Overall, the lodge was really nice - tidy and well equipped, which we appreciated. The only issues were that the oven only cooked on the top shelf, making cooking for 8 tricky and we found someone else's clothes in one of the drawers. Bit odd, really.

We recently stayed at this lovely little spot and honestly, it was quite a pleasant surprise. The site owners are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home straight away. Our first time here and we werent sure what to expect, but it turned out to be perfect for a quiet getaway. The cabin itself was beautifully kept, spotless and had all the essentials for a four-night stay, including a hot tub - which was a real treat! We stayed in the Beech 3-bed cabin, but if we came back, wed probably upgrade since its more suited to families with kids. The location is peaceful, with no cars allowed near the cabin, so its super quiet and the walk across the lit wooden bridge to the car park is just beautiful, especially in the evening. The owners are expanding with new cabins soon, so a little wait might be necessary during busy times, especially when lorries are unloading, but everyone was friendly and considerate, even the workmen. We loved the farm odour from next door - it added a bit of authentic charm. Overall, well definitely return, especially in this quiet season when the sunshine filters through the trees.

The sofas were quite compact and not very plush, which was a bit disappointing. The lodge was well kitted out, though. Couldve used extra towels and robes, honestly. The smell was a real downer, as we mentioned before.

Sofas small and not very comfy but lodges was well equipped. Could have done with more towels/ robes. Main issue was the smell (as mentioned previously)
