Amazing place, amazing lodge, amazing views and surroundings, amazing host, amazing stay. What can I say: AMAZING!! Would recommend to everyone.
The pellet burner a romantic and genius idea, the fire without effort, mess and cleaning. The fresh milk, eggs and bread a lovely touch and we loved the coffee maker and the coffee selection, also all the cooking essentials there so no need to worry about oil, salt, etc.

Sofa might need replacement in the near future but apart from that, PERFECT

Thank you, we'll be coming back :)

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Slate House lodges, we stayed in Valley view lodge, this lodge was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need. The upstairs reading/view room was a wonderful bonus. Fab Wifi. Hot tub was a real treat after a day out exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside. The views from the lodge and the hills around were fantastic . We would highly recommend staying here and would certainly like to return sometime in the future.

Great break away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. To be transported to such tranquil and beautiful surroundings was wonderful. The lodge was well equipped and comfortable. The peace and quiet really made the holiday and seeing the pheasants in the morning and the kites flying around was great. The views as you walk over the top of the hill were lovely. And of course the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
