We had a lovely weekend at Redbrick lodges in the Moshannon lodge. The hot tub was really nice and we felt so relaxed while we was there. The parkManager always got back to me quickly if we had any queries. Was lovely and peaceful. Like that there weee plenty of dishwasher tablets, clothes and sponges to wash pots if needed. There wasnt any oven gloves but we improvised with a towel we brought. WiFi worked well to say there was 4 of us using it and there was Netflix on the tv. Lodge was also lovely and warm. Would definitely go back :)

We stayed at Moshannon lodge for a weekend and honestly, it was lovely. The hot tub was a real highlight, so relaxing after a long day. The park manager was always quick to respond to any questions we had, which was really reassuring. The place was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. We appreciated the plenty of dishwasher tablets, sponges and even clothes for washing up - made things so much easier. Only thing missing was oven gloves, but we just used a towel instead. WiFi was solid, even with four of us streaming Netflix. The lodge was warm and cosy too. Wed definitely return!

We stayed in Sherwood Lodge. Not the best but not the worst, has a lot of potential to be really nice with some maintenance/cleaning. The location was great, plenty to do in the area and lots of nice pubs & restaurants.Pros:Really spacious lodge with everything you need & a well equipped kitchen. Hot tub is amazing, really big & clean. Temperature not ready on arrival which was disappointing but not the end of the world as I made use of the lovely free standing bath instead. Really nice woodlog burner with complimentary kindling/logs provided for the first night, very cosy in the evenings with a fire going.Netflix is included which is a bonus.Private from the rest of the lodges and a good distance between the other lodges.Cons: No offence intended but not cleaned to a good standard. Duvet covers had stains & hairs on arrival in 2 out of 3 bedrooms. Toilet walls covered in soap scum & residue. Walking barefoot in the upstairs bathroom made the soles of our feet dirty. Dust on all the lamps, wardrobes & most surfaces.Thermostat in the bedroom was broken & displayed an error code the entire time so it was very cold. Raised 1 or 2 other issues with staff on the first night but didnt seem to be any willingness to help or any follow-up the next Morning. Based on this we didnt bother mentioning the broken thermostat or poor cleanliness as it didnt seem likely any assistance would be offered. There are 2 rooms in the lodge that said private & were locked - this made us a little uncomfortable. It is said the CCTV on-site doesnt overlook your private areas but there is a camera opposite the hot tub & one overlooking the back decking which felt very intrusive. Overall a pleasant stay.

We just got back from a week staying in the Great Barn at Redbrick Woodl and Lodges and honestly, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The place itself is lovely, no doubt about that. The renovation is well done and it looks exactly like the photos online. It's nestled in the woods, so its super quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted for a relaxing break. Plus, its location is quite handy for visiting a few parks and local attractions, so thats a big plus. However, there were quite a few issues that kinda dampened the experience for us, especially considering its advertised as luxury accommodation, which we found a bit misleading.Check-in was a bit of a hassle. The instructions say theyll send a deposit link and then give you the lockbox code, but we didnt get the link until after 3pm, which was a problem since check-in starts at 4pm. We had to chase the park ranger for ages and even then, the code wasnt released until about 4.30pm. Not ideal when youre tired after a journey and just want to settle in. It felt like they could do with streamlining that process a bit.The internet situation was pretty disappointing. Theres no dedicated router in the barn, just an extender from the main router that doesnt reach the Great Barn properly. Being in the woods, phone reception is limited anyway, but the lack of reliable Wi-Fi was frustrating. For a week away, we expected decent connectivity, especially since one of us planned to work remotely for a couple of days and we also wanted to watch some films over winter. Streaming services and even basic browsing were a no-go. It should definitely be clearer in the advert that Wi-Fi isnt reliable here - its a big deal in 2024. The TV also didnt work properly, only picking up a couple of terrestrial channels, which was a shame.Inside, the barn is spacious and open plan, which is lovely, but the acoustics are quite loud - you can hear everything from anywhere in the space. The upstairs en-suites arent fully enclosed, so if someones in the bedroom, you can hear every word. Its a bit odd and not what wed expect from a luxury place. On arrival, we found the hob hadnt been cleaned properly, so we had to do it ourselves before cooking. The freezer was completely frozen shut, so we had to spend time defrosting it. The dishwasher didnt clean properly and one of the en-suite showers wasnt draining, which was annoying. The park ranger came to look at these issues, but he didnt bring any tools and insisted everything was fine, which clearly wasnt the case. We contacted him again about the ongoing problems, but nothing was sorted out.The crockery and cutlery are on the cheap side - the pans stick and some of the utensils are not very durable. The kitchen itself is reasonably equipped but missing some basics wed expect from somewhere claiming to be luxury. No milk, oil, salt, or pepper was provided, which was a bit of a surprise. One of the biggest issues was a mouse in the barn. We reported it to the park ranger, but he didnt come to deal with it. We ended up taking matters into our own hands, which meant moving beds and furniture - and underneath, everything was filthy. Definitely not what youd want in a luxury setting. The good points? The size of the barn is great and the hot tub is definitely a highlight - very relaxing after a day out. But overall, the service and the extras fell well short of what the brochure suggested. It feels more like a basic lodge with a few nice touches rather than the luxury retreat we were led to believe. Still, if youre after peace and quiet in the woods, its not a bad spot, just dont expect five-star service or top-notch amenities.

We had a lovely stay in this peaceful spot with gorgeous surroundings. The only minor hiccups were some small issues, like the patio doors not opening, but we mentioned them when we left. The host assured us everything would be sorted. Honestly, these little things wouldnt stop us from coming back or recommending it to friends. Its a really nice place!

great place to stay in a beautiful, peaceful location. A couple of small niggles if I had to be honest, for example the patio doors not opening but these issues were reported on our exit & promises received that each of the little things would be looked into. None of these however would deter us from staying again in the future, nor recommending to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge! The facilities were spot on, especially the well-equipped kitchen. It would be even better with a coat hanging area and an indoor mat to keep the floors dry - small touches that make a difference. Definitely recommend!

We found the pre-arrival info really helpful, so we knew exactly how to get into our lodge without any fuss. Before heading in, we stopped at a local supermarket to pick up some supplies, which was handy. We stayed in the Cedar Lodge and Ill admit, the hot tub sitting right in the front garden was a bit of a surprise. Honestly, I was a little concerned about privacy - a pull-down side for the hot tub shelter would be a great addition. We're glad we didnt bring our dog because the garden isnt fenced, so its not secure. Hopefully, once the trees grow a bit more, itll feel a bit more secluded, but a privacy screen in the meantime would really help. Inside the lodge was quite nice, reasonably clean - though there were a few cobwebs, dusty lampshades and a fluff-covered fan in the bathroom that could easily be sorted out. The bed was comfy and the big fridge/freezer was a plus. The only thing missing for us was a measuring jug! The shower was fine, but on our last morning, the water pressure dropped quite a bit. Someone came daily to check the hot tub, but on the final morning, it was emptied before we checked out, so no last dip! We ordered brownies and breakfast for our anniversary, but the breakfast had to be delivered the day before - luckily, the fridge was big enough to store it. Overall, we had a nice, peaceful stay, enjoyed the hot tub, but the privacy issue did make us feel a little uneasy.

The place was lovely, with a nice, roomy feel to it. Its true some bits look a bit dated, but overall, its well kitted out. Beds were a bit low and small doubles, which was a tiny bother. Shower issue was sorted quickly, so no complaints there. Would recommend!

We loved the place! Its super spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances in great shape, which made cooking a breeze. The en suites are also really nice. Only tiny thing is the sofas-theyve definitely seen better days, being so deep that you kind of sink into the back. But honestly, thats all we could find to complain about. The lodge is stunning and wed move in if we could! Definitely recommend.

Fantastic lodge which surpassed expectations. Really nice surroundings and the Park Manager Konor was really helpful and welcoming.

Our third visit to these lodges and although quite pricey you do get what you pay for. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Love these lodges.

We stayed in the great barn very well equipped. Lovely place helpful and friendly warden, hot tub checked every morning.

We had an excellent stay m, the only down side is the balcony is mostly shaded, only between 5/7 pm dud the balcony get any sun, and this was at the very end of it, far away from the hot Tub which was entirely shaded.

Excellent in every way

Amazing lodge with great views

Great location and peaceful on site. The site is well maintained and looked after. The only thing I could say to make it better is maybe update your sign on the road as it’s very easy to miss when driving on the main road.

We had a really wonderful stay, would definitely come again

Fantastic break in idyllic location. Staff on hand (if needed) but quietly go about their roles in a manner which does not disturb your own peace and quiet.

We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back, very clean facilities, loads to do in the area, very peaceful only downfall was the heating as it was always in full even if we changed it on the settings but didn’t spoil the stay!
