We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to come back. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating-so cosy! The garden was great for them to run around. Luna was wagging her tail so much, she ended up with a strained one, but shes fine. Happy pups, happy us!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in the dog-friendly platinum caravan, which was spotlessly clean. The site itself was lovely, though the lighting in the cut-de-sacs was really quite poor at night, even with our brightest torches, so it was a bit tricky to see. One issue we noticed was the amount of dog poo around, despite a few poo bins being available, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the onsite shop was quite expensive-basic items nearly doubled in price compared to outside shops. That said, we had a fantastic holiday and are already planning to come back later this year!

We loved the cottage - its perfectly tucked away yet close enough to everything. The hot tub was a real highlight and the underfloor heating kept everything cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were lovely hosts. Cant wait to return for a longer stay soon! Definitely recommend it.

Have to be careful that you don't lock the van door with the key fob inside. very easily done ( I didn't ) but could see how easy it would be to do.

It's pretty easy to accidentally lock the keys inside the van, so just watch out. Ive done it myself once, but generally, it's a handy feature. Definitely something to be mindful of, though.

We had a lovely week here, mostly just to unwind, so the limited activities didnt bother us. The caravan was generally clean and comfortable, though it was a bit odd that the bathroom was missing blinds-looks like theyd been ripped off before. The oven was a bit frustrating since it only had one shelf, so we couldnt cook much at once. Also, a vacuum wouldve been handy; we had to make do with a broom and dustpan. But all in all, the hot tub was definitely a highlight and made our stay enjoyable!

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage on a working farm, yet it feels surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such lovely people, making us feel welcome from the start. The place itself is surprisingly spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy, which is always a bonus. The garden is perfect for dogs - totally secluded and nicely furnished. We enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and tried a few local restaurants in Thaxted, like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend it!

We just got back from a lovely week at Goddards Mead. The cottage is super well-equipped with everything you could need. The hosts are genuinely warm and welcoming. Despite being on a working farm, it felt like a peaceful little retreat. We loved it!

Honestly, we were so impressed with this lodge! Its massive and every room has a TV, plus the power showers are really good. The hot tub was a lovely touch. We got it at a cracking price too, which was a bonus.

We had such a lovely stay! The owners really go out of their way to be helpful and friendly, which made us feel so welcome. The cottage itself is adorable, with its charming half-timbered style and a really powerful shower that was a treat after a day out. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it perfect for relaxing evenings. Parking right outside was a bonus and the place was spotless. Lovely walks through the fields to Thaxted and easy to get to nearby villages with their pretty houses and windmills. Definitely recommended!
