Where's Leonards Cove ?
Amanda, Leeds
Date of stay: 1st June 2018
Bedrooms clean and comfortable.
Bathroom clean with an excellent shower.
Balcony, lovely to eat looking over the sea. Everything we needed in the kitchen but it was very small, only one person at a time!
Eleanor, Worcester
Date of stay: 28th May 2018
Great views. Place had everything you needed. Would stay again
June, Norwich
Date of stay: 26th May 2018
The caravan need some TLC as there were no numbers showing on the cooker control knobs so you didn't have a clue how hot the hobs or oven/grill were.
The shower sometimes changed from very hot/very cold but that could have been demand driven.
More utensils needed for the kitchen. eg jug, scissors, microwave bowl and kitchen area a bit small
Alison, Bristol
Date of stay: 21st April 2018
Fabulous cottage, well maintained, amazing views. Radius 7 excellent.
All staff friendly and welcoming.
We were there for a week and could have done with daily towel replacement.
Keith, Denholme
Date of stay: 13th April 2018
Loved the entire holiday. The poor condition of the outside of the property, and the small details on the inside did nothing to take away from the overall enjoyment.
Ian, Grantham
Date of stay: 13th April 2018
Great holiday in a perfect location... would recommend Pound Loft
Our only comment would be that we could hear the lady on the ground floor coughing at night!
And there was no hair dryer! (we were offered a loan of one for the week)

Very nice accommodation, well appointed.stunning views over the sea, always something to watch
Date of stay: 29th July 2017
Great lodge with enough amenities for a week away. The only way the lodge could be improved would be better upkeep on the exterior of the building and the outside dining table and chairs could have done with a lick of wood paint/wood treatment.

Nicely modernised but no blind in bathroom and front white pvz windows and wall panelling dirty which spoilt look . TV rather small but bungalow spacious and nicely equipped kitchen , nice wet room/bathroom. Large double bedroom with view. The view makes the accommodation .
Barbara, Poole
Date of stay: 9th June 2017
We picked the worst week this month weather wise but we were warm and cosy in our Cliff Top accommodation. Beds were comfy and all the furnishings were of good quality and comfortable. If you want a peaceful break we would highly recommend this one.
Peter, Fordingbridge Hants.
Date of stay: 19th May 2017
We had a very enjoyable stay , the view's from the clifftop bungalow were spectacular and if you have nice weather you won't need to go anywhere .we had two rainy days and just watched the shipping in the distance , we would highly recommend this property.
David, Sheffield
Date of stay: 13th May 2017
This caravan was the best we have ever stayed in the cleanliness was excellent. The only disappointment I had was on arrival I reported a dripping tap in the kitchen and this was never repaired so all holiday we had to put up with this....not a big problem in the grand sceme of things but I feel this could of been addressed as the camp site was not busy.
Chris, Portsmouth
Date of stay: 21st April 2017
Caravan was nice, modern and comfortable. The oven had been cleaned so well that the numbers had been rubbed off, so cooking was guess work. Not a major issue though. There were some vacuuming issues as crumbs were found under sofa and down the side of sofa. But this wasn't a major issue.
Date of stay: 15th April 2017
The caravan was very nice, it wasn't very old. Had all the mod cons. The only thing was the dials on the cooker had rubbed off, so we didn't know what temp the oven was on or what hob was putting on etc, but we figured this out a best could. It was clean but could do with paying attention to the minor things like the blinds they could do with a clean every once in a while. Overall this was a great caravan to stay in.
Date of stay: 14th April 2017
Fabulous cottage, very comfortable and clean, lots of space for 5 of us.
Helen, Falkirk
Date of stay: 3rd April 2017
Cliff Top 4 was lovely if i had one complaint it would be the size of the toilet..very very small ..and also wished it had a bigger bed apart from that everything was lovely.
Chris, Sthelens
Date of stay: 31st March 2017
We stayed in the cliff top six, it looks like nothing from the back but once you walk through the door the views are breathtaking. The apartment was also lovely with everything you need. We will certainly go back for another stay. Chris from StHelens

Nafisa, London
Date of stay: 17th February 2017
This place is amazing. Very close to Blackpool sands, the marina, and dart castle. The lodge is clean and fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, microwave oven, cooker, pots and pans. The lodge was very warm so despite it being winter, we did somtimes open the windows to let some cool air in. The hot tub is amazing but wasn't ready when we arrived. I checked the temperature several times after arrival and finally went to bed at 1am as it was still not ready :(
All the staff is very helpful. There is a shop on site in case you need anything (we forgot to bring margarine but shop had some hurrah!)
The view from the decking are glorious. Highly recommend this lodge
Date of stay: 17th February 2017
Outstanding value for money. We've yet to find anywhere to compete for the price and views. One wall is just patio windows looking out to the sea and the double bedroom also faces seaward. As this is east facing, it's often warm enough to site out on the terrace for a morning cuppa (even in winter!). Chalets are really well sound proofed as we've stayed 3 times and never heard our neighbours.
Hilary, Hastings
Date of stay: 17th February 2017
It was so clean and well equipped and the view was spectacular
Christine, Perranporth
Date of stay: 11th February 2017
The Cliff top 4 bungalows once inside are quite comfortable and nicely decorated, the out side could definitely do with a paint up, both at the front and the balcony. Sadly its the only real thing that lets it down.
The view though is just stunning, completely out of this world, in fact the main reason we booked the Cliff top 4.
We were lucky enough to have a few lovely days while we were there in early February, so we got to sit outside.
Would definitely go back.
Ann, Torpoint
Date of stay: 12th December 2016

Date of stay: 5th November 2016
It is the beautiful view that makes it. Lovely view across the bay. Bungalow (No.9 at the far end) was quite adequate for our needs. Modern, light, with a comfortable bed. Everything you should need. We were there end of October and found the convector heaters adequate. Very useful to find towels were provided. An extra heater was provided when it got a little chilly in the main bedroom. Beautiful, well kept site with very helpful staff. There is a very useful bus stop right outside the site. Kingsbridge one way and Dartmouth the other way.
Samantha, Wilmslow

Date of stay: 15th July 2016
The view is fantastic but there are only 4 dining chairs, although there are other chairs in the building but not so comfortable for playing games at the table! Both showers were hot/cold while in use. Also the chairs on the balcony where we sat to relax and see the view need a little TLC as some are broken and coming apart. We understand a refurb is on the cards for No.3 so all these things will be sorted out.
James, Bristol
Date of stay: 2nd July 2016
The site is very clean and tidy and well looked after. The Cliff Top bungalows are excellent and private. An excellent restaurant and takeaway is available and well worth a try.

Date of stay: 19th February 2016
Fabulous views from the Cliff Top 4s straight onto the sea. The sun rises directly into the chalets so we even managed breakfast outside in February! They don't look great from the outside, but once inside, they are warm, very comfortable & well decorated and the patio windows and verandahs facing the sea are what make them so special. They are also very private (we didn't hear or see anyone from adjoining chalets - with the verandahs also being pretty private). They are extremely good value. We would definitely book again.
John, Maidstone

Date of stay: 30th October 2015
though it was nice inside but a bit disappointing from the front outside, there wasn't much to do around so we spent a lot of time in the car looking for something to do, didn't have much to do with the staff but in the pub/restaurant they were lovely and the food was beautiful. There was nothing to wrong with the place but for our personal preference we wouldn't go back.

A well-planned, nicely laid-out and spacious caravan. Very clean and airy, with loads of storage space for all our bits, and a well appointed kitchen. The tv reception was a little hit-and-miss at times (might have been atmospherics). Very impressed overall.

John, Shrewsbury
Date of stay: 23rd May 2015
The views from the bungalow overlooking the bay were fantastic. The layout of the bungalow was spacious and nicely decorated. The only let down was the exterior of the bungalows. They could do with brightening up with a splash of colour. Also the patio could do with a good weed and clean. But dont let that put you off. It is well worth the money. I will definitely go there again.
Sue, Bristol
Date of stay: 22nd May 2015

We had a fantastic holiday and would stay again.
Date of stay: 3rd April 2015
The holiday Bungalow was excellent, fantastic facilities, very clean and well kept. The only minor issue was the wall heater in the main room was not working and this would have been an issue had the temperature been colder.
Helen, Banbury
Date of stay: 3rd April 2015
As we'd seen from other reviews, these look nothing from the outside, but have fabulous views once you are inside. Patio windows look straight out onto the sea, with the verandah perched on the very edge of the cliff top. Very sheltered (large) verandah with the sun rising over the sea, meant that we could enjoy breakfast outside, even though we were visiting during cold/windy spell at the end of March. Very warm and comfortable chalet. Great value for money (cheaper for Easter hols than a lot of other places we have stayed at previously).
Date of stay: 3rd April 2015
The bungalows have been refurbished inside and were very clean and comfortable - they just need a refurb on the outside as they do look a bit dreary.
They are right down over the side of the bluff and offer a feeling of seclusion with perfect views of the sea. It feels like you are on the balcony of a cruise ship.
Nigel, Caerphilly
Date of stay: 28th March 2015

Date of stay: 21st March 2015
Our Holiday was very comfortable, the staff were very helpful our two complaints were dealt with, well one was, very quickly. The location was not too good for us, being disabled the area was too hilly. The Caravan was Very clean and comfortable although being a little small on the bathroom side for people with disabilities.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, just wish the weather could have been a little kinder. Ye can book ye Holiday but Not the Weather.
Suzanne, Portsmouth

The cove caravan was an excellent standard .
Decor was fresh and modern .
Kitchen well equipped with everything needed for self catering.
Double bedroom was roomy with comfy bed.
Larger then usual shower.

Overall the cove caravan was an excellent choice with good sea views and value for money.

Jim, Banbury
Date of stay: 13th March 2015
We stayed in one of the Cliff Top bungalows for a week; although unimposing from the front, the internal spec is high with a fully fitted kitchen and a wet room with power shower. However the main features that make this accommodation extra special is the full bungalow width balcony providing uninterrupted sea views; and a full width rear elevation glazed wall to the living area, again giving uninterrupted sea views.
Philip, Newport, Gwent
Date of stay: 3rd March 2015
Perfect place to relax and enjoy the views over the coast.
The bungalow was very clean and the young lady who meet us on arrival was very helpful.
Loved it here and will be back again and again.
Thank you
Mike, Bristol

The bath plug didn't fit hence the water drained almost as it was filled and the extractor fan didn't work properly but apart from those niggles the bungalow was very comfortable, clean and roomy.

The cottage has lovely views of the sea and is very comfortable. We stayed in February and it was very nice and warm. Although we could have lit a log fire there was no need.

Fantastic few days, the views were amazing. Very comfortable and warm, lovely little bungalow. Our only very small problem was the amount of water in the wet room, need to supply a rubber brush to help push it down the drain.

We loved the apartment, it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. If we had to make a negative comment it would be that the TV was quite small and located a little too far from the seating area. We brought lots of DVDs thinking there would be a DVD player but sadly there wasn't. However, this is nitpicking and overall it was a lovely place to stay and we had a great time!

Could do with washing up the cooking utensils on a regular basis. Don't rely on the person that is staying in the caravan to do it. I did though.

Lovely accommodation inside but patio furniture needs replacing or sanding and revarnishing. I had to scrub it and then we sat on picnic blankets draped over it.

Do not be put off by the outside of the accomodation which does not compliment the interior which is welcoming, clean, well equipped and opens out onto that fantastic uninterrupted view of the sea. The only thing that let the interior down was the "wet" room. No part of the floor escaped the wetness and no hooks/shelves! Hence nowhere to put clothes/towelsto keep them dry whilst you showered and as there was no wash basin in the seperate toilet you quite often had to use the room just after someone had showered and the floor was wet. The accomodation had been modernised inside but this was one modernisation that would have been better with a good old fashioned walk in shower with a tray! The staff were friendly and efficient, we had a problem with a bees nest in the patio table and a missing chair they came and sorted it out straight away.

Great cottage enjoyed holiday with my family only dissapointment was no logs for fire and when I went to reception no one was there and there were chocolate wrappers under the beds but other than that would come again to leonards cove
Fabulous cottage, well maintained, amazing views. Radius 7 excellent. All staff friendly and welcoming. We were there for a week and could have done with daily towel replacement.
Thanks to all the staff who made sure we were ok during the snow days.
Great little location, lovely cottage with a big hot tub. 20mins walk to the beach. 5 min drive to the harbour. Would certainly recommend for a quiet mini break.
Beautiful location with stunning views, ideal for a quiet get away from it all break. Spacious comfortable ocean view lodge with a wonderful secluded hot tub with sea view. I will happily take another winter break here.
Had lovely time. Cottage was beautiful
Beautiful place, friendly staff , lovely peaceful break away
We have been here many times and love staying in a Cliff Top Executive. The view and tranquility makes for a great holiday. We paid for the Wi-fi which was a bit hit and miss. The only thing that spoilt the break was the increased cost of the Dartmouth ferry !
Great site in a lovely location - very relaxing
Beautiful place, loved every minute and did not want to come back home.
