Absolutely beautiful location great with smaller children. If you walk its perfect. The staff were all so helpful. Cabins are stocked well. Food in the restaurant/cafe was very good. If youre cooking youre own make sure you shop in the villages. The shop on site is very basic. Although it rained we still had a great week visiting the surrounding area. Northumberland is beautiful.

These lodges need King sized beds and in the case of our lodge, definitely a new mattress. It was also a little tired in places but nothing that impaired our stay and the lodge was very well equipped and exceedingly clean. It was great to have our own hot tub and the setting is peaceful and pretty.

Drawbacks included our lodge couldve done with a revamp. Although generally clean, it was a bit damp. The shower was very weak and the main bedroom had what I presume is a three quarter bed, rather than double and the mattress could do with being replaced. The second twin bedroom was fantastic though. Great accessories in lodge though, from the kitchen ware to the mud daddy for the dog!

The lodge was lovely! Good size and a really high standard of facilities. It had everything we needed and more! Had we realised there was a PlayStation in the lodge we would have brought some games to play as there was only one.

Good size accommodation. Comfortable. Hot tub was good. Only gripe is the frying pan was poor and a small wooden spatula ruined the eggs at breakfast. Would benefit a chefs pan or cooking pan/wok.

The location is fabulous and the lodges are really well designed and fitted to a high specification. Hot tubs are discreetly located and robes and slippers are provided. There are tea/coffee making facilities and fresh milk which was a really nice touch. There is also a well priced shop selling a wide variety of food and gifts. We tried crossbows with Josh he was very knowledgeable and made it great fun and Tomahawks with Rhys who was brilliant with the children in our party helping them find the right axe so they could score some hits.

Fab lodge, location on site was great. Best views over the reservoir from the Hot Tub.overall layout of the accommodation was really thought out,living area open plan great for coming together as a family. Bedrooms located down a hallway. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you might need, Plus a complimentary bottle of bubbly really started the holiday off on the right foot.

Was lovely - weather was typically British! Swimming pool was good with towels supplied! Was nice for a relaxing week to recharge batteries!

Everything was great however tv was not so easy to operate some channels not there like itv 3 which was annoying otherwise lovely

Love this lodge and have booked it before. It's so comfortable and easy for my disabled husband to get around. His only proble was getting into the shower over the bath, but he is not your regular visitor.As already mentioned, we love the BBQ.
