We stayed for one week in Lovetts Lodge. We were expecting comfortable accommodation, but our expectations were exceeded. Comfortable beds, cosy living area and a well equipped kitchen. Not only were proper sized bath sheets and hand towels provided for every person, but a nice addition of a hot tub towel! Tea towels, oven glove, kitchen cleaning materials, enough loo roll for a week and a special pet towel for muddy paws! All things that normally you have to use lots of packing space for which just makes things easier. There was a lovely outside area (decking) which had a partially covered area with a bench, two nice sun loungers, table and chairs with parasol and the all important hot tub! Many hours were spent in the hot tub which was incredibly relaxing. Lovetts Lodge is one of four lodged situated around the pond, however it did not feel overlooked due to the well established planting and trees which provided privacy from the other accommodations.

We did not have much need to have contact with the staff/owners, but we were warmly greeted by Keeta at check in and provided with lots of information and a 24/7 mobile telephone number in case we had any problems (we didnt need to use it but it was reassuring to have). We also met Keetas husband who we had a lovely chat with about Henlle Hall and their plans for making some additional improvements for holidaymakers.

We had a fabulous week away, and are planning our return!
Karen, Burnham-on-sea
Date of stay: 6th August 2018
The lodge was on the edge of the site nearest the golf course with superb views from the deck to the hills beyond. The site itself was beautifully kept and very tranquil.
All of the furnishings inside were of high quality and the kitchen was really well-equipped.
The children particularly enjoyed eating plums from the trees beside our lodge!

Very relaxing and peaceful location. If you want to recharge the batteries this is the place for you. Accommodation high standard. Provided with robes & flip flops for the hot tub tub. Dogs well provided for with their own pet towel, treats & food bowls. Hot tub was great although think they need to cut back some branches of trees that were over hanging on the decking area.

Date of stay: 6th July 2018
A wonderful relaxing stay in a clean, modern, tastefully furnished lodge.

The owner Keeta is most welcoming and friendly, any questions or problem just ask and the staff will do their best to help you, infact nothing is too much trouble for them.

On arrival there was a lovely welcoming bottle of proseco and chocolates. Providing flip flops and slippers was another special touch.

The decking area and hot tub is very private and has outdoor table, chairs and parasol. We had beautiful hot weather and spent most of our time sat outside. There was a lovely countryside view and you could occasionally here the swing of golfers hitting their ball over the fairway!

There is further development work for new lodges being carried out but it was not intrusive.

Staying here in Meadow Lodge 2 is highly recommended, we will definitely return.

This holiday was booked spontaneously for a weekend with 4 people. We arrived and was struck by how gorgeous the surroundings were as we drove in. I checked us in, and the owner (I cannot remember her name!) was absolutely lovely! I was greated with a warm smile, kind words and she made it clear throughout our stay that she was there for us whenever we needed her. The cleaners were still doing our room when we arrived (we got there an hour before checkout) and they were very happy for us to be in the lodge whilst they finished. The lodge was absolutely gorgeous! We stayed in lovetts lodge, and had two kingsized beds. The furnishing and quality was perfect, and made us feel immediately at home. There was a log fire (of which we didn't need as went in summer, but would be wonderful in winter), and a fan supplied for temperature control. The kitchen was large and had enough space for us to cook and chat. When checking in we were told that we had been given a little present, So very very overjoyed with the bottle of prosecco and malteasers! Perfect for the hot tub! The hot tub is cleaned and topped up every day, and the lovely gentleman who came to do it was always polite and never disturbed us while we were sat on the terrace. Our weekend here was incredible, Just be aware if you go into Oswestry for the evening on a weekend to book your taxis in advance! We went out on a Saturday night and had to walk to the local weatherspoons for a lift home. We are looking to book here again soon, everything was perfect! I could keep on writing, but I would say please enjoy a weekend or more here- we would have LOVED to stay longer.

ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT! FAULTLESS. This was our 2nd stay at Henlle Hall, we previously stayed at Colonels Lodge a couple of years ago. This time we were in Over The Pond. Oh my goodness, what an absolutely perfect place it is. From start to finish our few days there were amazing. Keeta and her team are fantastic, nothing is too much for them and every little detail is thought of. Even down to balloons, fizzy, chocolates and biscuits on our arrival. The lodge is simply luxurious and everything you could possibly wish for. We didn't venture too far except to go for a champagne afternoon tea at the local Lion Quays, lovely walk, about 10 mins, but spent almost all our time in the hot tub. Just chilling, drinking and eating. What more could you ask for! Very excited to hear about the new lodge/cafe bar development in progress at the moment. We will absolutely be back, probably with our not so little dog, Murphy next time. Keep up the good work!

Perfect holiday, lodge and hosts. We stayed during the February freeze and Keeta went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, offering to get groceries for anyone that needed them. The decking and steps were gritted each day and they offered help with loading and defrosting the car on the day we left. Just fabulous. The lodges are well spaced and all in good locations.

Date of stay: 23rd February 2018
This is the second time I have stayed in accommodation at Henlle Hall. The first time we stayed in the Coach House and we loved it that much we decided to come back and stay in one of the lodges - Lovett's Lodge. During the first visit when our twins were aged 5 years old, it was Easter and the owners here put on an amazing Easter Egg hunt which went right across their land. It was amazing and we commented on how this was the best place we had stayed at in the UK.

The accommodation (both the Coach House and the lodge) have the wow factor, with beautiful surroundings, a log burner and a hot tub. Also the owners and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and overall the accommodation is comfortable and very well equipped. If I was going to choose a favourite accommodation then it would be the Coach House, it was absolutely superb in every way.

Close by is Lion Quays where you can use the spa facilities and they also have a restaurant where I can recommend the ham sandwich and sweet potato fries which is perfect for lunch. On both visits we also went to Llangollen and took the steam train which was just fabulous.

Overall staying at Henlle Hall accommodation is full marks and I would highly recommend this place to couples, groups and families.

Lodge was beautiful, clean, welcoming.
Lovely touch leaving prosecco and chocolates for us!
Also bath robes/ slippers/ flip flops for hot tub sessions. All the small details thought of.
Clare, Rushden
Date of stay: 2nd February 2018
Great view from our lodge overlooking the pond ('Over the Pond'). The lodge had everything you could think of including robes and slippers as well as even complimentary wine and chocolates. . Was nice to have a 'covered' hot tub so we could use it even it was wet or windy (which it often is in February)

Only some very small suggestions:
There was so much kitchen equipment there were no empty cupboards to put our food in.
And a hook near the hot tub would have been really useful to hang our robes on (it was quite windy some days!)

Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

We have been twice during 2017 and rebooked to go again in March 2018
Kiki the host is fantastic and the facilities i cannot fault!

It's the small things that make the most difference like the chocolates and drinks on arrival & the high quality furnishings and kitchen!

We take out Dobermann with us every time and its so easy being their with him! Their is a gated veranda and multiple doors, which makes it really practical!

I want to move in!!!

We stayed in the fairway lodge! From start to finish everything was first class. Our welcome from Keeta on arrival made us feel right at home, she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful even down to details like giving my two girls the right size robes! We loved the lodge and hot tub and could find no fault. We will definitely be back. It's not often we stay somewhere that exceeds all our expectations.

This is the second time we have stayed in this lodge. It is spotlessly clean, has been built with strong materials and has good quality fixtures and fittings. The beds are comfortable, and both bedrooms have a nice ensuite bathroom. This lodge overlooks the golf course, which is pleasing and relaxing when sitting outside having a drink and a bite to eat. We would be more than happy to return to this lodge for a third time.

Absolutely FANTASTIC. The lodge itself was stunning. Beautifully furnished. Kitchen was kitted out with top of the range appliances and every utensil known to man. We had a lovely welcome pack that contained a bottle of bubbly sweets snacks and even doggy treats. And to top it all off our own private hot tub. We will definitely be going back.

Beautiful lodge, tucked in the corner with the hot tub overlooking the green, spotlessly clean and lovely touches such as robes, slippers and even a bottle of bubbly on arrival! Me and my husband loved it so much we have already booked again for later this year!
Gail, Driffield

Date of stay: 12th June 2017
Friendly and helpful greeting, made to feel very welcome. You are slightly overlooked by other lodges but it's not intrusive. The green keeps of the golf course are very keen with their lawn mowers, especially around 8am!
The lay out of the lodge is great, it is easy to relax. I would score it a full 10 if the hot tub was covered but it rained for some of our visit so we left the covers on and stayed in doors.
The decking could do with a little restain or varnish but didn't look unkept, not a big deal.

The fishing lake is also the duck pond. The ducks will chase your float so unless you have patience or using a swimfeeder I wouldn't bother. Fish are shy and doesn't resemble a standard commercial lake but I had a 7-10lb carp on a whip but snapped me up but nothing after that.
Overall, a great lodge in a good area to explore. Nice walk along the canal to the Poachers.

Excellent lodge. Stayed here last year and booked the same one as soon as we got back because we think it has the best view and the most private hot tub (although they are all quite private, we just thought this was the best of the lot). You can feed the ducks in the pond from your decking which is lovely if your travelling with children.

Thank you to Keeta for another lovely stay and for helping us out with the item we left behind this time.

The lodges are first class in terms of fixtures and fitting. They are also very warm, we didn't even light the wood burner. Of course the best bit has to be the hot tub. Lovetts lodge is a gorgeous cosy lodge with everything you need, a cosy log burner, a lovely big bed, a lovely hot tub on the decking overlooking the duck pond, it was lovely sitting in the hot hub in the morning watching the birds and ducks, plus the squirrels, and at night sat with a glass of champagne looking at the stars. The kitchen has everything you need to be able to cook in the lodge if you don't want to eat out.

My partner and I had the loveliest stay at lovetts lodge this winter. We were wowed on arrival at how wonderful it was and the surroundings are so peaceful. The hot tub was ready for us as soon as we arrived and ready to use at any time throughout our long weekend. The kitchen has lots of facilities and you're even greeted with a welcome basket of goodies. There's lots to do in the nearby town: Oswestry with shops, pubs and restaurants. The owner was so so helpful and will go out of her way to make you as welcome as possible. It's been 2 weeks since we've been and our friends have already booked for next November from our recommendation. We will definitely be coming back to Lovetts lodge!

Date of stay: 28th October 2016
Absolutely fantastic! This is the best lodge I have ever stayed in and I could not fault anything about it. The surroundings were gorgeous, the lodge facilities were beyond amazing - everything was provided, even logs for the fire and a large stock of DVDs to watch! There are beautiful gardens/grounds, with a pond and ducks. Lots of trees means lots of squirrels and birds :-), which we love. Our lodge was a beautiful, private idyll - ours for 4 days! - and we really did not want to go home at the end of our stay; that was the only negative bit!

Date of stay: 1st July 2016
Fantastic setting, with very helpful people to make your holiday brilliant. The only two things that spoiled our holiday was torrential rain and other holiday makers letting their dogs run free on the park ( the park rule is dogs must be kept on a lead at all times ). The weather in the uk is the weather and no one can be responsible for that, and ignorant people who disobey rules don't deserve the use of should a beautiful place as this.
We will definitely go back.

Date of stay: 8th January 2016
We had a very relaxing break in this charming lodge called the Woodpecker in Henlle Hall. The lodge was peaceful, warm, cosy and well equipped with everything we needed for our new year break (4-8 Jan 2016). We sat around the fireplace most evenings and then tiptoed out to the frosty terrace after dinner for a rejuvenating dip in the hot tub! Our terrace had an excellent panoramic view of Welsh countryside and golf course (during our stay the golf course was very quiet. There was a good distance between the lodge and the golf course therefore it would not have mattered anyway!). We would love to be back!

What a fabulous Christmas stay we had at the Woodpecker Lodge for Christmas 2015!! Wonderfully equipped kitchen, superbly high standard of accommodation. If anything our only niggle was the WiFi was poor as we had wanted to FaceTime family on Christmas Day. Still, it didn't spoil our break.
The hot tub was perfect, and there was even festive lights outside and a full size Christmas tree already for our arrival, together with a lovely welcome pack or us and the doggy.
Thank you so much, oh and I am saying selfishly-don't book! Or we wont be able to get in again!! :)

Lodge was absolutely stunning - everything was such a high quality finish. Even the furniture was handmade oak furniture. Very modern and well styled. Hot tub was really great. The only reason everything inst a perfect 10 was the lodge did look over the golf course. That said there was rarely golfers there and wasn't too close that it was obtrusive. Dont let it put you off! But it's something to be aware of if you're very conscious of others around you.

Date of stay: 25th September 2015
One of the best cabins stayed in. The only negative is would have preferred more natural light in lounge area perhaps use of light tubes, but the light bulbs were high wattage that compensated for this. Just would have been better with natural light.

Well spaced out cabin. High specification inside. Large decking area and fantastic hot tub.

Woodpecker Lodge is a beautiful woodland lodge with hot tub on balcony overlooking the nearby golf links. It has uninterrupted views of the Welsh countryside. The lodge could not be better equipped, with all the little details attended to; such as en-suite bathroom to both bedrooms, blankets for those chilly nights when you still want to sit out under the starlit sky, a wind-up torch in the bedrooms, Elemis toiletries in the main en-suite bathroom, TV in main room and bedrooms, every variation of glassware and crockery and a drinks trolley to place at the side of the hot tub. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

This was our second stay in Lovetts Lodge and we had a lovely, relaxing 4 day break. The lodge is still as clean and beautifully kept as it was a year on, with all the lovely attention to detail which makes it the best lodge we have stayed in. We will definitely be staying again, and have recommended it to friends. Thanks again to Keeta and her team for making our stay so relaxing.

Absolutely amazing. A little piece of heaven. My husband and I stayed in Colonels lodge the Bank Holiday weekend in May for some chilling time and to celebrate my birthday. We certainly did chill! Keeta and Cosmos couldn't do enough for us, they were on hand if needed, but certainly not in the way. The lodges are amazing, the highest quality furnishings and beautifully spotless. We couldn't want for anything, everything was catered for, from treats for our Dog Murphy to a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates for us. The hot tub was just to die for, perfectly hot all the time. We didn't move away from the lodges the whole weekend and spent most of the time in the hot tub, even in the rain under an umbrella! The lodge caters brilliantly for dogs too. The decking is gated and so safe, which was an absolute god send. The log burner in the evening was lovely too, all in all a perfect, faultless break. We will most definitely be back.

The lodges are superb, the best we have ever been to !! Super friendly owners, Keeta is so keen for her guests to be happy and does everything she can to ensure your stay is a good one. We were there with friends to celebrate my husbands birthday and arrived to find a birthday cake and candles along with a lovely welcome pack. Keeta is just so thoughtful. Big fluffy towels, slippers & gowns are just some of the little niceties at Henlle Hall lodges.

We went and stayed in Lovetts Lodge over Christmas and we all had amazing chilled out and relaxing time. Keeta could not do enough for us and was even willing to go out and buy us an HDMI lead for the flat screen TV as the one provided was too short for my sons laptop. Logs are provided for the log burner and there is a small utility room in the grounds if you run out. There is also wine and beer in here along with other goodies that is provided for a small charge so they have really thought of everything but at the same time keeping our holiday personel. The cabin is to a beautiful standard and has everything you need to make your holiday perfect and the hot tub was the icing on the cake while the turkey was cooking in the oven. Overall fantastic. We have ready booked to go back this Christmas 2015.

We much enjoyed our stay at Henlle Hall Lodges. We have stopped in may lodges throughout Wales, Midlands & East Midlands and feel this is the best one that we have had the pleasure of stopping in. We both thought that the pictures did not do it justice. We also learned whilst being there that they had been awarded the diamond award. This came as no surprise xx

Beautiful, clean and comfortable lodge. Furniture, fixtures and fittings very high standard. Our visit was over the weekend so generally very quiet. However, there are a couple of lodges currently being contructed and we were aware of building noise on arrival day (Fri) and departure day (Mon).

Te accommodation is superb, it is very well equipped, clean and extremely comfortable. It was lovely that they catered for dogs as our pet was able to come on holiday with us and each lodge was secure with a gate so when we were outside the dog was able to come out with us. The welcome packs were excellent and even our pet dog had a welcome pack containing treats, doggy bags a towel to clean him down and food/water bowls. It was lovely to go on holiday as a family in such a lovely place.

Wonderful accommodation. From the welcome bottle of Cava to the luxury of the private hot tub on the decking around the lodge to the wind-up torches on the bedside cabinets, the attention to the details which make a holiday perfect (as opposed to excellent) was outstanding. There is even a 'Washroom' where guests can use the computer, borrow games or golf clubs for use at the nearby golf course, obtain ready-cut wood for the wood burners or even purchase beer/wine/chocolate. The owners have a flair and vision which makes me definitely want to revisit this property.
Yasser
Words cant describe this place, absolutely amazing experience.
Emma
Amazing stay with our 2 month old baby. I only wish I had known they would provide so much of the baby stuff as we wouldn't have had to cram so much in our car. We asked for a cot, but there was also a baby bath, baby towels and had our little one been a bit bigger, he would also have made use of the high chair they provided.
Christopher
Absolutely idyllic. Loved the break and the seclusion. Can't wait to go back.
David
Fabulous lodge and friendly helpful staff.
Pip

Nicola
Lovely lodge with all your home comforts. Hosts are lovely, friend and very welcoming, they could not be more helpful.
Chris
Very excited to hear about the new lodge/café bar development in progress at the moment. We will absolutely be back, probably with our not so little dog, Murphy next time. Keep up the good work!
Harriet
This is our fifth visit. It's become part of our regular part of our lives. Can't recommend it highly enough.
