Came for the weekend with my husband and two young children. Park itself is quite small but very well maintained. Swimming area and soft play was great for the kids. Our caravan was situated behind the touring caravan area and we unfortunately had issues with "travellers" on our first night. Drinking, partying and loud music until 2.30am. Called and texted the emergency number to ask if they can advise them to keep the noise down as they had woken my son during the night, no reply. I had to go out myself and ask them to keep the noise down. My husband was participating in the Windermere marathon the next day which was the reason for our trip. He never got to sleep until 3am. We have been to A LOT of caravan sites and have never experienced this. We chose this park as it was meant to be quieter than the usual ones we go to when intact it was the complete opposite. Very disappointed that the site couldn't have dealt with anti social behaviour. Wanted to speak to someone upon checkout but there was no staff around, only a box to hand keys in. Don't think we would return to this park.

Would stay again, but would need to be a bigger caravan. There were only 3 of us but just had nowhere to store things. Swimming Pool area was very good. The bar/eating area was too close to the gaming/arcade area so sometimes it felt like a playground. Not somewhere to go for a quiet meal or drink. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We had a great stay! The house was super comfy and warm, which was perfect for the rainy December weather. The bath was lovely and the shower was nice and spacious. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all, honestly. Perfect spot for dogs that dont like fireworks since its quite remote. The place itself is beautifully converted and really charming. Thanks a lot!

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage. Its tucked away on a working farm but feels surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are super friendly and welcoming. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to get out of! The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and furnished nicely. There are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed exploring Thaxted, especially The Star and The Maypole restaurants. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Fell End! The house was really clean, super comfy and just lovely overall. We ran into a bit of a hiccup with a medical emergency for our eldest before leaving, but the staff couldnt have been more understanding or helpful in adjusting our plans. The kids absolutely loved the amusements at the bar and restaurant, which kept them entertained. The location is perfect for exploring the stunning Lake District and coming back to a warm, cosy house at night was just what we needed. Wed definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks for a great holiday!

The house we stayed in at Fell End was spotless, very comfortable and lovely. We had an unexpected medical emergency for our eldest child before we left for our holiday and the staff at Fell End could not have been more helpful and understanding in adjusting our stay for our delayed start. Our children loved the on site amusements at the bar / restaurant area and we were well situated to explore the beautiful Lake District and come back to a lovely warm house at night. I would definitely recommend our accommodation and site to others. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this good place! The location is stunning and super private, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The owners were really friendly and made us feel welcome without being overbearing. After cycling all day, relaxing in the hot tub was just what we needed. A heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place felt much cosier than the photos suggested, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The pool was perfect for the kids, nice and deep and they loved it. Only minor gripe was the pool closing early on one day, but overall, the staff were super friendly and wed definitely recommend it!

Lovely accommodation and well equipped especially the kitchen. A lot cosier inside than the photos. We used the pool which was a good depth for our children. Only minor thing was that on one of the days we wanted to go swimmingh and the pool was closed 2 hours before the closing time on the timetable. Staff were friendly, would recommend.

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning our return. Our dogs really enjoyed the underfloor heating - Luna especially loved the garden. She was wagging her tail so much that she ended up with a strained one, but its all worth it! Happy pups, happy us! Definitely recommend!
