Deep in the Devon countryside, tucked away along a little lane you find Challaborough Bay. The stunning views, the amazing walks and the lovely beach. The amenities are very good, the pool excellent offering more than just swimming. A choice of restaurant or three takeaways and an on site shop. The amusement arcade offers some family friendly fun. We simply loved our stay.

The caravan was spotless and beds made up. If I was being picky the only thing I noticed missing was a bathroom mat. As there are only showers it gets quite slippery. But everything else you could need was there.

Date of stay: 25th July 2016
Caravan was great! It was clean, well equipped and had good shower facilities.

Date of stay: 30th October 2015
Eider caravan was warm, clean & fully functional. We did only have 1 door in & out of it & next time I'd ask for an Eider with 2 doors, especially having 2 grown teenagers & a dog. Having an extra toilet was a bonus. Overall I had no complaints.
Carly, Hayle
Date of stay: 28th September 2015
We were very pleased with the caravan, however, it was not as clean as we expected. There was hair left in the shower and tops of switches, shelves were covered with dust. Fruit bowl and glasses needed to be cleaned before we could use them.
Heather, Wirral

Date of stay: 10th April 2015
Caravan was a decent size, good kitchen. Heating didn't work first night but was soon remedied by the efficient on-site crew. Lots of storage which is handy, very dog friendly. Only gripe was slightly icky nasty radiator in the bathroom but otherwise - no complaints. Fantastic break!
Sharron
Date of stay: 23rd March 2015
The holiday park is in a beautiful setting right on the beach. The clubhouse/restaurant and bar and shop have everything you need. It has a small holiday camp feel without being too overpowering. Perfect break with family and friends. Will definitely go back.

Date of stay: 29th August 2014
Lovely location, very close to the beaches and the accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. Staff on the reception desk at the site were helpful. However, the customer service at the on-site takeaway on the one night we tried to use it, was slow and unfriendly and the restaurant & bar area all seemed a bit out-dated and down at heel and would benefit from being refurbished, especially as it occupies such a superb prime position on the sea front. There is a local store next to the site, which sold fresh croissants in the morning which we made use of.The swimming pool was clean, a good size and a useful standby on a rainy day but we did not use it much as this area has so much to offer anyway. Nor did not use the evening entertainment as this was not something we wanted from the holiday, so cannot comment on this aspect. Overall, fab location & good value for money.

Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
The scenery was beautiful but the beach at Challaborough Bay was dirty, which was very off-putting. The beach was small so would be easy to keep clean and the resort must lose money because most people went to Bigbury, a ten minute walk away, which has spectacular, clean beaches..

We took our grandchildren aged 18 months and 3 yrs we all enjoyed the simpleness and ease of all aspects, the staff were always very helpful and friendly would certainly recommend to anyone wishing for a relaxing holiday. The only downside was Fryer Tucks fish and chip shop/cafe very greasy and frozen chips not good im afraid .
June, London
Date of stay: 31st May 2014
While we were away on holiday unfortunately our son was extremely poorly with a migraine and ended up in hospital, I cannot thank all the staff at Challaborough Bay enough they were all so very kind and helpful at this very worrying time
Martin
Absolutely brilliant time , the week we had was amazingly good value and my little 18 month old girl had the time of her life with the entertainment staff , will def be coming back
Lyndon
Stunning location, beautiful scenery, lots to see and visit, choice of on site activities for all, great staff, wonderful holiday.
Karen
Lovely placed site. Only downside is poor internet connectivity. Not anyones fault as site is on side of Dartmoor in a sheltered bay down steep single track roads.
Nicola
Lovely relaxing break with stunning views. Beautiful beaches with bigbury bay only a short walk away and the wonderful burgh island and sea tractor. A very nice, quiet caravan site with plenty of amenities and local pubs. Ample places to eat from takeaways, restaurants and two pubs, one within walking distance in the small village of Ringmore. Close enough for trips to kingsbridge or plymouth. Well worth a visit.
Luke
We loved it, the place and faciliies were great
