Hottub only did standard jets the more powerful jets didn't stay on for more than 30 seconds(yes we timed it), but other than that it was a great Lodge and so spacious. Was clean but not immaculate and sofas aren't moved to hoover underneath between visits as we found items that weren't ours on packing up.

We had a really lovely stay overall. The lodge was perfect and the location was great, though it was quite a walk to the golf club from where we stayed. It would have been a bit tricky in the dark if one of us hadnt gone back for the car during the day. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made our trip even better.

Overall very good. Lodge and location was great only fault we found that it was a good walk to the golf club from where we were when we found it and would have been a long walk back in the dark if one of us hadnt went back for the car in daylight. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay there.

ShazzaJ. The site is masive, it is very well kept and they have little ponds all around. everyone so helpful and friendly. The lodge was gorgeous and clean. There wasn't anything we didn't like. But I think what could make the park better is. More stocked Esentials in the shop as there is so much on the park we just wanted to stay there but had to go out to get shopping items. Also the hot tubs don't have canopies so we didn't really get the use of ours. I think if you have canopies attached to the fence that is round some of the hot tub that can be pulled over when it is raining so people can still get the use off it and then pulled back when sunny, it would be a great investment. Also the leisure facilities don't open till 4 so didn't use these either as was bit late in day. would be good if open even few hrs during day. that would be great. Apart from these three it was amazing

We recently stayed in a three-bedroom pet-friendly lodge and honestly, it was a lovely spot for a quiet getaway. The lodge itself was stunning inside and out, nestled in a peaceful, secluded area which was perfect for relaxing. The beds were already made when we arrived, which was a nice touch and the fact that WiFi was available meant we could stay connected for calls and texts-though, mind you, theres no mobile signal unless you wander around the park or head down to the beach, so dont rely on your phone for internet. The grounds are well looked after and there seemed to be plenty of pitches for tourers. We didn't get to try the playpark, but it looked great for kids, even though ours are a bit too old now. One small thing-there wasnt an airer for hanging wet towels or swimwear from the hot tub, which was a bit annoying since we had to improvise. The dishwasher tablets and a decent washing machine were provided, which was handy, especially since we remembered to bring our pods! The walk through the woods to the cove was perfect for walking the dog and the views over to the Isle of Man added to the relaxing vibe. The only thing Id suggest is more lighting around the park, especially on the way back from the club-walking in the dark wasnt ideal. Overall, we had a really chilled weekend and would definitely return!

Our 3-bedroom pet friendly hot tub lodge was superb, beautiful inside & out in a quiet, secluded area. WiFi provided in the lodge so you can make WhatsApp calls/texts, no normal signal unless you walk about the park/down at the beach. Beds were made up on arrival, lovely. Only negative I would give for the lodge, no airer to hang up wet towels & swim-wear from hot tub (could be stored in the wardrobe area or under the bed). Dishwasher tablets were provided which was a plus. Washing machine was great, I remembered pods for it :-)Loads of pitches for tourers. Looked like a great playpark for kids (mine are too old now) The grounds are well maintained, only recommendation would be some more lights, pitch black walking back from club (which was very quiet but I get it was the end of September), so used our phone torches. Walk through the woods to the cove, which was ideal for walking the dog. If you are looking for a quiet and chilled break, this is ideal. Great views over to the Isle of Man. Great golf course admired but hubby didn't get the chance to play as didn't bring his clubs! Maybe 15minutes in the car to Kirkcudbright. All in all, lovely relaxed September weekend enjoyed here.

We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was super cosy and spotless, with everything we needed. The only thing missing was an air dryer for drying clothes outside, but it wasnt a big deal.
