The lady who welcomed us and the gentleman that saw us off at the end of our stay were both charming and helpful. The accommodation was lovely and to be honest much nicer than we'd hoped for.

Date of stay: 15th July 2016
Ideally situated, quiet location, 3miles to st. Clears which is the nearest place for getting provisions and eating out. Good position for visiting surrounding areas . accommodation clean and spacious.
Karen, Leyland
Date of stay: 2nd June 2016
The cottage was spacious and enjoyed a lovely veranda with outside seating and stunning views. Whilst it was a bit out of the way and didn't have a shop or any other amenity on site, this made it all the more attractive. Shops were just a short drive away. The owners were very friendly and as helpful as they could be. It was a really charming place and a winner, i believe, for anyone wanting that little bit of 'tucked away' quietness whilst not being far from the hustle and bustle of towns. We would certainly recommend the Avalon cottages and not hesitate to go again should our holiday plans take us into that area of Wales.

Date of stay: 16th November 2015
we are talking about a weekend break in November. We arrived just as the light was fading but were still able to marvel at the wonderful view. The welcome was really good and we were shown to our cottage. All I can say is I would of been happy to stay for months. The sauna was amazing, to come back home after a days sightseeing and relax nothing quite like it. Absolutley first class and we will be back. Just remember to take some £1 coins for the meter although it doesnt use it as quick as I thought it might

We booked this as a 4 day break in October and we were pleasantly surprised about the quality of the cottages for the price we paid.
Based in a stunning area of Wales, the cottage had everything we needed as well as a sauna. We were comfortable throughout our stay and fully relaxed by the end. Would highly recommend and return here in the future.

An outstanding cottage on the outskirts of the village. Had a great holiday. The Willow cottage was well appointed, excellent facilities especially the sauna. A great holiday, already hoping to return in August.

I stay regularly at these cottages, using it travelling from Essex to Wales to see my children every month. The facilites are always spotlessly clean, welcoming and tidy. The owners/managers of the cottages are friendly and also welcoming and nothing is too much trouble I would recommend them for a short stay or as a base for exploring the stunning countryside locally
