Accommodation a bit tired -cobwebs on curtain rails and curtain hooks missing. No bedside lights in upstairs bedroom . No blind in downstairs bedroom and only thin curtains. Only tea/coffee/milk sachets provided plus one dishwasher tablet - bring everything else yourself !. There is a TV in the lounge but you have to rearrange the sofas so everyone can see it . There is a small outside area that had 2 chairs and a very rusty table. Bathroom upstairs is very small. Location is very good - a few steps from the beach and a short walk to the Amroth shops & pubs.

Amroth Castle holiday park is a nice small holiday park, there is an independent bar which we didn't use, no shop or food available on site. The children's park could do with a bit of investment and updating. The pool was fine. The location though is beautiful, we could see the beach from the property. The Dolwen property is probably 2 or 3* and could do with an update but was nice on first glance. However it definitely needed a deep clean with cobwebs, spiders and woodlouse everywhere. Wardrobes leave a lot to be desired and we didn't use them. Beds were comfortable. We also had to wait til around 4.30-45pm for the key because the cleaners still had them which given the uncleanliness of the property is hilarious. Dishwasher also didn't work and leaked all over the floor. We would visit again but try a different accommodation.

Very spacious, although awful as right above a bar thats open to the public. Theres a huge tent aswell that is attached to the bar so you can hear everyone and its constantly flapping throughout the night. If we had known there was a bar directly beneath us we would not have booked

6 Adults 2 kids, stayed in the Glan-y-mor apartment in the castle. Extremely spacious, great size rooms/living area the only thing letting it down was the damp, there was mold in some of the rooms, and with no heating other than plug in heaters, we found it impossible to dry clothes from the rain, no washing machine to use on site either. The apartment looked clean until we found glass all over the floor which we swept up and there was a fair amount of it, and dust all over the skirting boards.IOn a warm day it was clammy with stale air in the apartment, but was unable to open the windows as they were falling apart with notices in each window saying do not open. The staff however are amazing, the owner of the bar is lovely, pool is freezing but is supposed to be heated. Great location, I'd go again if they updated it and sorted out the damp problem, and cleaned the rooms properly. Some of the beds were comfortable some were so bad that ended up sleeping on the sofa instead.

My partner and I have just returned from a lovely four nights away at this cottage. Lovely helpful owners which do not intrude and are there if you need them. Large fenced off garden ideal for our dog. Fully equipped cottage with everything you need. We used the bbq one of evenings. Brilliant hot tub! We would definitely return and have already recommended to friends. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Another fantastic stay at Goddards Mead. Fantastic cottage in every way. We will be back need I say more.
Anna
Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at Goddards Mead. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and despite being on a working farm it felt like a little tranquil haven.

Little Gem - Beautiful Cottage with everything you need, you dont need to bring anything. I overloaded the car not realising how well equiped the whole cottage is. Welcome pack has all information you need to know about the cottage and menus which was very well thought out. Thankyou for the little extras for our dogs and us. Owners, Sharon and Robert very quick to respond if you need to ask anything. K9's loved it - enclosed garden a bonus. Hot tub amazing. Thanks for the lovely break.
Mary
Very nice cottage. Ideal for a quiet break if you don't mind aeroplanes (at night mostly) as its quite near to Stanstead airport. Hot tub is lovely!
