What a fantastic venue

Expensive for what is after all a tent. Apart from 1 dish, 1 tea plate and 1 dinner plate each there was little other crockery so we had to put tiny amounts of baby food and baked beans in the microwave in one of the dishes then wash so someone else could use it to eat from. It always seems to me that the people who equip these accommodations never try using them for a night to see what you actually need.

Fantastic holiday with the grandkids. They loved staying in a tent. Everything was lovely and clean, and we were provided everything you would have expected in a caravan holiday and more. Overall we loved it and cant wait to go back.

Its glamping so chairs were a bit uncomfortable but we all slept soundly in our beds. Underfloor heating in the living area kept any chills away and a heated towel rail in the shower room served its purpose. We stayed in Twiga 1 and had views of the Rhinos from our decking. My daughters are 9 and 11 and absolutely loved it and thats the only recommendation I need.

Housekeeping do a fantastic job. The seating area outside gave a great view and the hot tub, perfect. Highly recommend this lodge.

Excellent accommodation plenty of room for our party of 9 with everything you need provided. Whilst not cheap when you take into account the benefits it is definitely value for money. Good sized secure garden which is great for kids during down time. Plenty of parking for up to 6 cars.

Gorgeous house with lovely views.Welcome package on arrival was a nice touch and was enjoyed by all. We had a thoughtful enjoyable stay but just a few of niggles that could easily be sorted- grass wasnt cut and with 2 children it made playing ball games a bit tricky.Only one round bench in garden- would definitely benefit from some more garden furniture as with 10 of us we couldnt all sit outside, some lounge chairs near the hot tub would be great. It was very hot at there is no parasol for shade. No welcome instructions - took a long time to work out how to use the hob!! Also nothing to light the fire which luckily wasnt needed but we couldnt light the candles on the birthday cake. Otherwise a lovely stay. Hot tub was serviced daily which was great, we thought someone might of checked if all was okay but we were left to it.

We had a fantastic stay in one of the hotels pet friendly fairground lodges. The accommodation was spotless and there was a very generous welcome bag with lots of essentials and some lovely treats too. Even the dog had things left for him. Having park access throughout our stay too was fantastic especially with a toddler! Cannot recommend Folly Farm enough, thank you for a wonderful visit.

Lovely lodge, great size, spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was a bonus you really dont need to take much! Washing up liquid, tea towels, loo roll, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter and milk were just some of the offerings. Towels and linen all provided as per lodge amenities describes. Hot tubs checked twice daily.

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage! Its tucked away on a working farm, but feels super private and peaceful. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely people. The place itself is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that made us feel right at home. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded with nice furniture. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!

We just got back from a fantastic four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are really friendly and helpful but not intrusive, which was perfect. The big fenced garden was great for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed and the hot tub was absolutely brilliant! We even used the BBQ one evening. Definitely planning to come back and already told friends about it. Thanks for a lovely break!

We recently stayed at Goddard's Mead and were really impressed. Rob and Sharon clearly put a lot of effort into converting this historic building with care and respect. They were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived and Bonnie made it even more special. The location is perfect for exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages-so much history and charming architecture to enjoy. Its a really relaxing spot and wed definitely recommend it if you're after a cosy getaway!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying here! Honestly, we didnt want to leave at all. The lodges are truly luxurious, with such attention to detail - plus, they greeted us with a lovely local goodie bag which was a nice touch. The handsoap and toiletries, all made locally, were just divine! We stayed in the Torwen lodge; it was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The hot tub was a real highlight - so relaxing! What we really appreciated was the unlimited entry to Folly Farm, which included our arrival and departure days. We managed to explore so much, from Tenby to Haverfordwest and theres plenty of food options nearby, including takeaways. We ordered a Chinese from Dragon Palace, which was delicious and they deliver right to the site. The staff were fantastic - always at the end of the phone, making sure everything was perfect. Well definitely be coming back soon!

We stayed at this lodge recently and it was really lovely. The place was spotless and the hot tub was well-kept and relaxing. The sofa wasnt the most comfy after a while, but overall, a great stay with high standards. Definitely recommend!
