Very clean and comfortable would visit again if we wanted to chill out and do nothing

Overall good but the mattresses are a little thin & uncomfortable

Lovely lodge. Very clean with plenty of storage. Everything you need. Finding the right lodge could have been made easier with some directions.

We had a really lovely time staying here. Sharon and Robert were so welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The place had everything we needed-spotlessly clean, comfy and safe for our dog Archie. The location was perfect for exploring, with lots of nice walks and nearby villages like Thaxted. Honestly, it was just what we needed to unwind and recharge. Wed definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here, its such a peaceful spot for a relaxing break. Sharon and Robert are lovely hosts, genuinely thoughtful. Even though its our second visit, were already planning to return again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right from the doorstep were perfect. The owners are genuinely lovely and we felt so welcome throughout. Fantastic experience!

We recently stayed at this cottage for four nights and honestly, we had a great time. The owners were super friendly but never intrusive, which was perfect. The fenced garden was a lifesaver for our dog and the place had everything we needed - really well equipped. We even enjoyed a lovely evening using the BBQ. The hot tub was just brilliant! Wed definitely come back and have already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great spot overall, just wish there were more utensils for cooking, whether gas or microwave. Thats the only gripe!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage! The place is spotlessly maintained and really well equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. Our dogs loved the nearby walks and meeting Penelope the pig was a real highlight. The host was super friendly and communicative. Definitely coming back - such good value! Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything. The place itself is adorable, with that traditional half-timbered look and a great shower. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it feel like a home away from home. Parking right outside was a real bonus and the location is perfect for scenic walks to Thaxted. Spotlessly clean and well heated too!

We spent a week here in July with our two tiny dachshunds and honestly, they loved every minute! The village of Thaxted is adorable and the cottage itself is really charming. The highlight? Definitely the hot tub - perfect after those scorching summer days, especially since it was cooled down just right. The hosts were so friendly; it was lovely to see them caring for their horses daily. Being close to Stansteds flight path was actually kinda fun, watching planes land. Overall, wed happily recommend - a lovely spot for a relaxing break!

We recently stayed as a family of four - two adults, a toddler and a newborn. Packing was a bit of a task, but the lodge itself was surprisingly roomy and well-organised, with plenty of storage space including a walk-in wardrobe in the main bedroom. The master bedroom was large enough to fit a travel cot comfortably, which was great. The surrounding area was pretty quiet; we found two pubs in the nearby village and Withernsea was just a quick 10-minute drive where we enjoyed swimming and some arcade fun. We also took a day trip to Scarboroughs sea life centre, which was about two hours away. Honestly, we had a lovely break and would definitely come back again!

Nice luxurious lodge. Perfect for that piecefull getaway.

Lovely lodge
You do need to drive to all of the attractions and beaches.
The grounds are well kept.
The lodge itself could do with a regular check for equipment.
Some of the equipment..frying pans and baking trays need renewing.
It needs more glasses, this could be down to breakage and people not reporting it.
We found will to be very pleasant and helpful during our stay.
We even had an early check in.
We found everything else about the lodge very good.
I loved the shower and the large bathroom and the large fridge freezer.
All in all our stay was lovely.

Lovely chill out

This is a lovely quiet place, ideal for a base to travel to different places.. There isn’t any facilities as in the way of pool, pub and nightlife but that suits us a family….. Staff are on call as and when needed and The owner often drives through on a daily basis. But we didn’t need anything so all was perfect, just left to our own devices.

Beautiful lodge, everything we wanted for a quiet weekend away, perfect for families too.

The park is lovely very well kept and in a lovely location, there is a small fishing lake but no other facilities, having said that I would return we wanted peaceful so happy

What a lovely, peaceful break away from home. The lodge is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The owners and the people who live on the park are very friendly and welcoming.
The park is situated in the perfect area for exploring up and down the coast. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Just had a lovely 4 day break here. The lodge was lovely with everything you need. The park is set in a quiet location which was exactly what we wanted. Check in is easy as the keys are ready in the lodge for your arrival. You have the telephone number for Will should you get any problems but we didn’t it was perfect. Would definitely book again.

The Lipman Lodge offered us everything that we needed. Comfortable seating and a comfortable bed, a lovely open plan kitchen living area with all you could ask for. There was a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates in the fridge. If you want nightlife then this residential park is not for you but there are villages close by with pubs and restaurants, plus you are only a couple of miles outside Withernsea. The resident owners on the park were all friendly and welcoming willing to chat and waved hello as they walked by.
We had a 4 day break here and I am getting ready to return, I didn’t want to leave. It was fantastic.

The lodge was very clean and well presented. It was a half hour drive to Hornsea and 20 minute drive to Withernsea. There was no staff on arrival so it was a bit tricky finding our lodge, once found, you just walked in. The residence were very friendly and the location was lovely if you wanted a quiet getaway. I think it was good value for money, thats probably why there was no staff on arrival.

This is a lovely peaceful park, nothing on site such as shops, clubhouse etc .. but that is not what we went for .. peace and quiet was the order of the day and this place had it .. We stayed in Lipman lodge and you could not fault the place one bit .. it met our expectations in everyway. The site is residential and the folks living on the site looked after us .. will certainly be going back again. In fact we didn't want to leave .. the other half is asking if we could look at buying a place there ... says it all really.
