We had a lovely and relaxing time. The sire was clean and well maintained. Visited Fountains Abbey,Harlow Carr,Newby Hall, Knaresborough and Bennington Hall..all were within 30mins drive

A really nice relaxing break we would recommend to anyone looking to wind down.

We had a brilliant time here. A great place to stay. It has everything you need and a lovely decking area. Very spacious.

Our second visit this summer. A lovely site which is very quiet and suits us perfectly, you can feel yourself relaxing and the pace of life just slowing down. Lots of areas to explore with the dog and only a couple of miles outside Knaresborough and Harrogate. A perfect base to explore this area.

Lovely, big lodges. Good size bedrooms. Bathroom and shower room, both with toilets. Fully fitted kitchen, with fridge freezer and dishwasher. Tea, coffee, etc provided for arrival. Some lodges have a utility room too.

Huge spacious lodge and clean My son had comfy bed but ours was not which was a shame as we loved everything else about the lodge You cant beat your own bed

Lovely and relaxing

Beautiful site with trees and wildlife, should have been a wonderful relaxing holiday.But the Caravan was not up to anybodys standard, the wet room was a joke , no shelves, hooks or anywhere to put toiletries. The floor was so spongy we were afraid to go to the toilet in case it gave way. The smell of damp was overpowering when had been out for a few hours, even though we left the windows open. The dining chairs had been repaired but were still unsafe. Door handles were falling off, no coat hangers. What a shame could have been lovely.????

A wonderful mini break, excellent value for money, very clean accommodation and friendly staff. Would return!

We had a good time away but the settees and the mattress let ithe caravan down the location is good excellent for walking the dog and very quiet throughout the day and night

We had an amazing time at Allerton Park. The Caravan we had was newly constructed, modern, comfy and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location, easy access to Harrogate, York and Leeds. We would love to go back again!

We've just returned from a 4 night stay at Allerton caravan park, and for the most part had a pleasant and relaxing stay, in tranquil surroundings, however the reason for the 2 star rating is due to the noise created by the handyman's radio.It greeted us on arrival and we'd assumed he was a permanent resident there given the way he was making himself at home but we soon realised he was the maintenance man and possible site owner. Which if it's the case makes it all the worse.For a few hours each afternoon he'd paint the decking of the caravan right next to ours, all whilst blasting his industrial grade makita radio at full volume. He made no effort to turn it down despite us returning back with two young children to get our youngest down for his day time nap and it being obvious we were in and had the windows open, on account of it being nice and warm. With the walls being paper thin there's no sound barrier and so it was more like an open air concert than a relaxing peaceful stay.If you want to blast out loud music, fine. But don't advertise your park as a peaceful escape because it's anything but.It ruined what was otherwise an enjoyable trip and we'd never return to this park solely because of him and his attitude.

We really enjoyed our visit, the views are stunning and perfect for exploring around!

A warm welcome and picturesque setting. Ideal for visiting the surrounding towns of Knaresborough and Harrogate as well as York City.

We had such a relaxing stay here! The property is super peaceful and well kitted out. Loved unwinding in the hot tub after a long day. Really friendly hosts too. Perfect for a quiet escape. Highly recommend!

Lovely atmosphere, would definitely visit again.

Holiday Park is set amongst trees, approx. 1/2 miles away from the A1M so it can be heared as a drone in the distance but it certainly did not disturb us even when sleeping with the windows open. The staff we met were very helpful & friendly. We were able to park the car alongside the caravan. The park is within walking distance of Allerton Castle where we attended a wedding on the Saturday. The downside is that you need the car to get to local pubs/shops etc.

Stayed here as a base for the Great Yorkshire show.
Very quiet off the beaten track.Suitable for walkers both human and dogs.
Nothing on site,not really suitable for children either.

Allerton Caravan Park is lovely and peaceful. We stayed in a caravan which felt very spacious and really clean. My brother and his family stayed in a lodge and we were very impressed with how roomy it felt. The park itself is well kept and close to Allerton Castle so ideal if attending a wedding as we were. There is no bar/restaurant facility onsite but you are ten minutes away from Knaresborough and close to York and Harrogate. Well worth the money, would definitely visit again.
