We had a lovely stay here. The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions. Didnt try the restaurant, but the fish and chips looked great and Id recommend them.

Really loved the caravan, it was comfy and well-equipped. Only thing wed suggest is a proper path from the parking area cause it was quite muddy! Cheers!

The place is fantastic, especially with the beach right there. The rooms are roomy and spotless. Honestly, the activities could do with a bit more organisation, but overall, really enjoyable!

We had a great 3-day stay and honestly, the weather didnt ruin anything for us. It's our third time in a lodge now and were falling more in love with them each visit. Cant wait for June! It truly feels like a home away from home. The staff were super friendly and really made us feel welcome. Well done, Sandy Bay!

Date of stay: 15th October 2024
Overall, we had a good stay. The caravan was spotless and had enough room for us, which was great. A working tin opener wouldve been handy, but no worries-we grabbed one at the supermarket. Its nothing fancy, but perfect for a clean, comfy spot near the beach. Exactly what we needed!

Date of stay: 15th September 2024
We had a lovely stay, especially since the weather stayed decent. The location is really convenient, with everything just a short drive away. The caravan itself is pretty good, though the fridge could do with fixing. Also, the main bedroom door has some broken edges and open boxes that need repairs. Still, we enjoyed it!

Date of stay: 11th September 2024
We recently got a new caravan and honestly, its pretty great. Loads of space inside, which is a bonus. Having a second toilet really makes a difference, especially on longer trips. The kitchen is well kitted out - everything we need is there and the fridge freezer is lovely, keeps everything nice and cold. All in all, were really happy with it!

Date of stay: 22nd August 2024
We stayed in the caravan and found it generally comfy and pretty clean, though it did have some minor dings and holes in the walls and doors. It was well-equipped with a microwave, oven, grill and hob, plus decent utensils. No sharp knives, which was a bit of a shame, but overall, the central heating kept us warm on chilly nights. Not bad at all!

Date of stay: 19th April 2024
We stayed in a pretty spacious caravan that was spotless and had everything we needed for a quick getaway. The location was spot on - close to shops, the chippy and a lovely beach for walks. We did check out the kids entertainment one evening, but honestly, it was a bit of a letdown - it took ages to start and then there was a lot of shouting and upselling from the compre, which was a bit off-putting. Most of our time was spent relaxing on the beach, which was perfect. A small gripe was the parking situation; despite it being clearly stated that you shouldnt park on the grass, quite a few people did and there was no one around to stop them. Still, overall, a lovely site and we had a great time!

We recently stayed in this caravan with a group of five adults, two kids and our dog. Overall, it was pretty much what we needed - lovely place, clean and well located. However, we did run into a bit of a hair issue; despite our dog not shedding, we found dog hairs all over the floor when we arrived. It was a bit of a surprise. When we tried to use the sofa bed, it was covered in hair too, so we had to give it a proper clean before it was usable. As an asthmatic, that was a bit of a downer on our first night. Still, considering the price and the location, it was a good find. Just wish the cleaning had been a bit more thorough!
