We had the most amazing time away. The overall look of the site was amazing. Perfect little get away. Caravan was spacious and the robes were an amazing to go with the hot tub. Downside was; the cleaners hadnt moved the coffee table and so there was lots of crumbs underneath. With a two month old baby we went to move it to place her on the floor to play and had to move it back. I also swept the outside area because of leaves and debris. Would have been a 1 minute job to have an aesthetically pleasing environment and meant we brought loads into the caravan on arrival putting our stuff from the car into the van. The heating on the boiler was also off, we had to keep turning it on and off as no instructions on how to operate it. As much as we appreciated no bins around, we also couldnt find the bin yard to take out the bins. We did walk through the golf course the evening of arrival and got a pint and half which cost £10. Though its not too bad, it meant we didnt stop for more than 1. Though the arcade is a great add on for children and families. The grave to the pub would not be recommended with a pram. The location to the site was fantastic. Easy for access to the A1 so was able to drive out. But if you didnt have that option and didnt want to leave, the closest store for food for us was in Alnwick. The staff on arrival and leaving were amazing, you couldnt fault them and the site which they offer. The cleanliness was amazing and was such a relaxing time away after having baby. I would go back if going back up Toby Northumberland in a heartbeat.

Really can not fault this place. The resort is nice and peaceful which is lovely. Our cabin was spotless and have everything we needed. I've been to some cabins where you only get four plates, forks etc and one type of glass but they had a great stock of kitchenware and lots of multiple different types of glass....great if you enjoy a wee tipple. The best was the comfiest bed I have every slept on and our bedding smelt incredible. The hot tub was fantastic and the bath robes were a nice touch. The only downfall is our cabin was in the shade so no sun and because it was tucked into the trees there was a lot of leaves, twigs etc on the patio and in and around the hot tub after opening it. We are not fussy people so this didn't bother us in the slightest but can understand some people might be annoyed about this but it really can't be helped...it's nature. Wifi was also great and loved that we could connect to Netflix. 100% would stay again!

Brilliant stay lovely site been many times. The lodge could do with a gate on and maybe fenced off behind the hot tub to make it a bit more dog friendly. Couldnt let the dog out with been ******* or on a lead. Everything else was 5* brilliant.

Caravan pretending to be a lodge. Overall the accommodation was clean but not hi spec. Doors were very stiff to lock. The vinyl flooring was not even in the kitchen. The water pressure in both showers was weak and in this modern digital era there was no Wi-Fi. The clubhouse was not open when advertised

Firstly the actual site is lovely. Well maintained, peaceful and in a great location to explore Northumberland. Our Autograph Jumior Lodge was a caravan and certainly not "luxurious and indulgent" as described. It was comfortable and had most of what we needed. Notably we weren't supplied with hand towels, bedding for the 2nd bedroom, and the cistern in the en suite was faulty. The worst part however was the hot tub. Whilst the water was obviously clean, the actual hot tub was plonked in a shed like surround. The cover was absolutely filthy, and had no mechanism so had to sit on the ground when in use. The steps to access the hot tub were filthy, as we're the slabs it sat on. Definitely the most unappealing hot tub I've ever paid for and not the "pristine standards" described So it was OK - a comfy caravan with a belowbpar hit tub experience, on a lively site, in a great location.

The main bedroom in this lodge was ok but the smaller rooms were small. I was lucky enough that the 2 bed I stayed in last year was free and staff happily let us swap to this. The lodge itself is beautiful however we needed space for medical equipment and like I said staff were happy to accommodate a change of lodge.

We had a lovely stay! The owners are genuinely nice and really helpful, making everything feel welcoming. The cottage itself is charming with its traditional half-timbered look and the shower is surprisingly powerful. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made our stay super relaxing. Plus, parking right outside was a real bonus. Its well heated, spotless and perfect for walks to Thaxted or exploring nearby villages with their picturesque houses and windmills. Wed definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! Its so well equipped, we didnt need to bring a thing and our car was overloaded trying to fit everything in. The welcome pack was thoughtful, with all the info we needed plus menus-really handy. The little touches for our dogs and us didnt go unnoticed and the enclosed garden was perfect for the pups. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Sharon and RobeRead were quick to reply if we had questions. A lovely break all round!

We had such a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob & Sharon really put a lot of effort into restoring the historic building and it shows. They greeted us warmly and Bonnie was adorable. The place is perfect for relaxing, with everything you need. The location in Essex is ideal-lots of charming villages and fascinating history just a short wander away. Definitely recommend exploring Thaxted and nearby spots for a bit of local culture.

We stayed in this caravan and found it quite cramped, especially in the twin bedroom where storage was really limited - only under the beds, which was a pain to access. Moving around the room was a bit tricky. The bathrooms felt tight and the showers were slippery and hard to shut properly. Also, no towels were provided. Privacy was a bit lacking with neighbouring caravans peering in through the windows. Not the best experience, unfortunately.

Really enjoyed our stay! The place felt brand new and super comfy. Only thing missing was a coffee table in the lounge, would have been perfect.

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such charming people-really friendly and welcoming. The place itself is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave! The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and nicely furnished. There are lots of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great places to eat-The Star and The Maypole were favourites. Wed definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us cosy, especially on that rainy December day. The bath was perfect for relaxing and the shower was lovely and spacious. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all - honestly, we hardly noticed. Ideal spot for dogs scared of fireworks, nestled in a peaceful area. Thanks so much!

We had such a lovely stay at this place! The location is really peaceful and private, which we loved, yet the owners are super friendly and available if you need anything. The hot tub was a real treat after cycling around the area. A little thing to keep in mind - the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!
