Beautiful lodge lovely and warm.

Twin rooms are cramped and really too small for adults - would be ok for small children.

Would of been nice to have had some patio / outdoor furniture provided to enjoy the decking area.

We had a wonderful holiday. The site was perfectly situation for all local attractions (although car essential). We self-catered as the caravan was beautiful and comfortable and we wanted to spend lots of time there. Overall, it was a fabulous week.

Absolutely fantastic. Was a brilliant base to allow for travelling further afield. Places were accessible as the site isn't far from the A1. We would go back again for sure. Thank you

I've given this a 10 for the Gold2 but do think we'd been upgraded to a Platinum caravan as there was the en-suite and the 2 separate leather sofas instead of the wrap around sofa.
Whichever one it was, it was the best I've stayed in.

The caravan was to a very high standard. Very comfortable and had a lovely decking area.
The caravan was in a good location on the park and was very clean.
The caravan could do with a few extra things to make a stay comfortable. An extra oven dish, salt and pepper shakers, an ashtray, outside table to match the chairs. We found it would have been helpful to have a few basic cleaning products to start of with, we had to rush out to get cleaning supplies as there wasn't any handwashing in the toilet.
The caravan would benefit from a sound box or a sound bar. There was one built in but was not working. The built in fire was very confusing to operate and switched itself off after a few seconds.
Maybe an information book about the caravan, how to use equipment and about the local area could be put in.
We were confused about why we had a dishwasher and a washing machine that were not plumbed in and wires hanging from the wall in the bedroom for TVs that had been removed.
There are things that didn't really effect our stay but made the place look unfinished.

No onsite restaurant,but some very good takeaways in Alnwick

Very enjoyable and relaxing

Brilliant holiday. Brand new van so it was immaculate. Very clean site. Some good free facilities for children. Will look at taking the grandchildren next year

We didn't get that caravan we got 2bed platinum we booked 3 bed lucky my daughter didn't come with us
