We enjoyed the wedding weekend, but getting there without transport was tricky and the accommodation prices were quite steep for just a couple of days. Still, lovely event!

We had a pretty good time staying at the Rosewood Stud Farm and honestly thought it was decent value for what we paid. The location was spot on - super peaceful and quiet, so much so that you almost forget there are other people around. It was a perfect base for exploring the nearby towns, which was great. The hot tub was a lovely touch and the decking area felt quite secluded, giving us some much-needed privacy. We stayed in one of the pet-friendly caravans with four adults and a dog and generally, it worked well for us. The corner sofa was a real highlight - way bigger than I expected, especially compared to other caravans designed for six people. The beds were already made up when we arrived and there were plenty of towels, which was a relief. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs and utensils - everything we needed. Now, the luxury part of the advert? Well, its a bit of a stretch. The caravans were nice enough, but some of the luxury details were missing. The decking could do with a clean and some maintenance and the mismatched kitchen items were a bit annoying. The rust on the toilet roll holders and some damp or mould in the shower wasnt ideal and the shower door was stiff and tricky to slide. The tables had some scratches and chips, which was a shame. But honestly, none of this really spoiled our stay. If youre planning to visit Cambridge and want a peaceful place to stay, wed definitely recommend it - just dont expect five-star luxury!

The place is quite nice overall, but for the price, a few upgrades wouldn't hurt. The welcome pack was lovely, but with 8 people, two tiny jars of jam and a small cereal pack felt a bit sparse. Still, we enjoyed it!

We had a lovely weekend at Rosewood Stud. Even though its only an hour from home, it genuinely felt like a mini holiday. The location is perfect - nice and secluded in the countryside, but close enough to Cambridge, Ely and Bury St. Edmunds for day trips. The only hiccup was that a nearby cabin (we think No. 7) hosted a pretty loud party on the Friday night, which went on into the early hours and disturbed our sleep. Still, we dont blame the place at all - just unlucky with that noise! Overall, a great stay.

We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, its perfect for unwinding. The hot tub under the stars was definitely a highlight! Yes, some bits of the lodge look a bit tired-like the fridge door and stained carpets-but overall, its a lovely spot for a chill getaway. Wed come back!

Overall, pretty happy with it. Just wish there were bedside lamps for reading and the cooker needed a clean!

Date of stay: 11th August 2019
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin; it was lovely and the surroundings were peaceful. The place was spotless, which was great. The only downsides were some beds being a bit uncomfortable and on the last day, we lost water for a couple of hours. Luckily, the hot tub guy told us what was happening. Wed definitely come back though!

We found the apartment to be a decent size and pretty much had everything we needed for our stay. The Wi-Fi was steady enough most of the time, which was handy. We did notice a few things that could be improved-like adding some bedside lamps and a couple of hooks on the back of the doors would be a big help. The fridge was a bit broken with no door on the icebox and a breadboard in the kitchen wouldve been useful. We didnt get a welcome pack, but the staff sorted out our minor issues quickly. All in all, a good stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It had everything we needed and was super clean overall. Just a bit of dust on the curtains and ceiling spots, but nothing major. The location was perfect-quiet and peaceful. Staff were genuinely helpful at check-in.

We had a lovely weekend here. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The lodges are perfect for a cosy self-catering break and we appreciated the extra effort when we asked for things-they were quick to help out. Only suggestion would be a few more kitchen utensils, but overall, a really enjoyable stay!
Emma, North East England
Date of stay: 26th October 2018
We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It was spotless and well kitted out, which made everything easy. The twin beds were a bit tight, but manageable for a couple of nights. Just remember to bring a strong torch because the pathways are poorly lit and logs can trip you up. Well be back!
