Would recommend Oakliffe Park, especially the Acorn lodges that look over Dawlish warren beach. You can use the amenities at the sister park too, but the sister park is busier

Martin, Westonzoyland, Somerset
Date of stay: 21st January 2019
A great off season break in January. Despite very high standard of the lodge there was nowhere to hang coats and no room in the bedrooms for suitcases. Hot tub was fabulous - just a shame that out neighbours ignored the instruction that hot tubs are not used after 11.30pm and were making a lot of noise at 1.30am. The park didn't have staff visible at any time during our weekend so this was not policed by the park...
Ann, Bristol
Date of stay: 2nd January 2019
Very clean accommodation with beautiful views. The hot tub was wonderful, freshly filled for our arrival, tested every morning and emptied on our departure to be refilled.
Margaret, Basingstoke
Date of stay: 17th December 2018
Absolutely superb. Mobile home (Pinewood 3) was spotlessly clean, lovely crisp white sheets, beds made up and wonderful fluffy towels. Modern decor with everything you could possibly need, including dishwasher, wine rack, full size fridge and separate freezer - they even had toiletries and free tea/coffee/washing-up items included. Couldn't fault it - would HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Absolutely wonderful, spacious all around, the lodge, enjoyed ourselves so much, we have booked the same one next October too and bringing my daughter, son in law and grandson.
Keith, Tamworth
Date of stay: 3rd November 2018
Nice and quiet park. Nothing on site which suited us just fine. We had a oak lodge which was awesome and the hot tub was quality, could keep our 9 year old girl out she lived it and so did we already hoping to come back. Nice central place to visit surrounding areas plenty to see and do nothing 30 to 40 mins drive.
Gemma, Northampton
Date of stay: 26th October 2018
Overall was just fantastic!! It was great we had wrist bands to visit the sister park as well.
My only recommendation would be to at least cover over the outdoor pool if it wasnt used. As it needed a really good clean it was a bit of an eyesore x

Susan, North Wales
Date of stay: 4th August 2018
This caravan was a lovely well furnished accommodation for a family. The twin bedded room is small so would be ideal for children but wouldn't recommend for two adults as quite small. The main bedroom is very well proportioned and has lots of storage space for clothes and cases. Both the ensuite to the main bedroom and the bathroom for the twin bedded room looked newly furbished and were lovely and clean. The caravan was well equipped if you wanted to eat in - it would have been nice to have had some sun beds and a table and chairs on patio - the wooden bench/table was wet and slimy with the leaves off the trees above and were not suitable for a disabled person. Overall the facilities were very good and with some slight adjustments would be excellent.
D, Ross-on-wye
Date of stay: 28th July 2018
My family were over the moon with this holiday. Plenty for the kids to do but also the right environment to relax and make the most of the accommodation and the site. Perfect!

Date of stay: 14th July 2018
Those booking a Warren Lodge that Warren Lodge 14 (only), is in a different part of the site, and in our view not such good value. Having viewed site prior to booking, we had expected our Lodge to be on the main site in the Warren Lodge area, we only found ours was not on arrival. Warren Lodge 14 is over the road from the other lodges, the unmanned reception, and the Swimming Pool. Whilst the inside of the Lodge was comfortable, clean well appointed and as advertised, in comparison to the other Lodges the outside 'furniture' consisted of an old rickety bench, rather than the more modern and comfortable furniture over the road, the Hot Tub was not screened off, and backed onto the hedge next to the main road. Rather than being on a slope affording views of the sea, on a one way road, 14 is on, what appears to be a largely resident site, on a circular one way system with much more passing traffic. For those wanting to do their bit, all rubbish was disposed of in communal large wheelie bins, with no opportunity to recycle. To use recycling facilities we were obliged to take them to the main site across the main road (where traffic often does not comply with the speed limit).
I would say that the Warren Lodge 14 ought to be offered at a lower rate to reflect the differences above from the other 12 Warren Lodges, that customers ought to be advised of this prior to booking, and the outdoor furniture quality and Hot Tub screening ought to be brought up to the standard of the other Warren lodges.
Lynn, Farnham
Date of stay: 30th June 2018
We had a lovely holiday enjoying the sea view but would have preferred not to be opposite a pub in full view of their customers having a drink

Accomodation very comfortable needs broom, dustpan and brush for everyday use

Would not choose this location again

Date of stay: 15th June 2018

Date of stay: 23rd February 2018
The lodge was great - we had 3 bedrooms even though we were a couple so loads of room! Even with 6 people though, it would have been fine. Very clean and a welcome pack on arrival.
Merv, Dursley Glos.
Date of stay: 2nd February 2018
Thoroughly enjoyable!

Date of stay: 20th November 2017
Lovely lodge with fab seaview.Only fault was not enough if any outside lighting.
Tony, Downing
Date of stay: 20th November 2017
Beautiful large, bright lodge and had everything you need. Great location for the coast and plenty of places to visit. We had a really relaxing long weekend and hope to return.
Claire, Basingstoke
Date of stay: 17th November 2017
The lodge was warm, although a little too warm at times but we just turned down the thermostat. It was clean and towels were provided
The only thing that was a little strange was the oven shelves and trays all completely wrapped in foil. I'm sure it keeps things cleaner but it's a pain when using the oven, as the foil on the bottom kept blowing up!
Adrian, Thatcham, Berkshire
Date of stay: 17th November 2017
The lodge was of a high spec, in pristine condition and was very comfortable.
Ian, Fareham
Date of stay: 30th October 2017
VIP Oak lodge was lovely and spacious with 3 good sized rooms and ample living space, and good central heating. Free view tv provided.
Hot tub was lovely and available for immediate use on arrival. The lodges are only just over a cars width apart and so some hot tubs appeared slightly overlooked - we were fortunate that the neighbours kept their bedroom curtain closed, and we did the same to maintain privacy.
Kitchen equipment was great including a tassimo machine and a cafetire. Only gripe about the lodge was the lack of an oven glove. Despite ovenware being provided, we had to struggle with the extremely thin tea towel provided to remove the dishes from the oven whilst trying unsuccessfully to avoid burns.
Nice location with a stroll down the hill to Dawlish Warren taking no more than 10minutes to the beach. Sainsbury's supermarket is a 5minute drive away.
We would return to this park again.
Helpfulness of staff rated low as we did not see a single member of reception staff. Keys were left on the desk in an envelope at check in, and returned in the same way. We had no reason to attempt to contact during our stay.
The entertainment provided was at the park up the road at Lady's Mile. We did not use this as we were happy to be away from it in the peaceful location of Oak Cliff. Although a programme of entertainment is provided, we did notice a lack of directions on how to get to, or where the entertainment is located on the other park.
James, Sheffield
Date of stay: 30th October 2017
The caravan was excellent - like a lodge and very new, it had central heating, TV with free view, free wi fi throughout the park.
This caravan was excellent although I did feel a bit over priced for just three nights.
Lynn, Sedgley
Date of stay: 27th October 2017
Caravan was amazing, site was no good for us as it was too far from main park.
Sharon, Launceston
Date of stay: 21st October 2017

I think the lodge was lovely and very clean, could do with a tidy up as some wallpaper peeling etc but overall a lovely lodge and holiday park and would visit again
Maxine
Date of stay: 15th July 2017
Overall an enjoyable one week stay at Oakcliffe Holiday Park. Would recommend this park for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
Edith, Hove
Date of stay: 8th July 2017
As I said above, the caravan was beautiful and perfect for our needs. However, it was a shame that the outside area was not cleaned until the second week of our holiday. It was very mucky when we arrived and we had to clean it ourselves before we could use it.
Towards the end of our holiday a man turned up and gave it a very thorough clean.
There was never any staff in the reception area, and there was no information as to the location of the 'sister' site whose facilities we were able to use. We eventually found it at least 2miles away.
Grant, Birmingham
Date of stay: 24th June 2017
Road noise. Sky light was filthy.
Tony, Colchester, Essex
Date of stay: 24th June 2017
A very well appointed and comfortable holiday lodge with a superb view of the sea and surrounding countryside.
The only issue was the lack of anyone to speak to at reception, on the 4 occassions I went to reception including at the beginning and end of our holiday I never saw anyone there.
But overall a very enjoyable holiday.
Jean
Date of stay: 17th June 2017
The caravan was fantastic and the views. We had a great holiday, thank you.
Susan
Date of stay: 6th May 2017
Staff extremely helpful and made every effort to ensure a good holiday and made good a schedule of repairs but we should not have been the quality assurance - it should have been in full working order for our holiday. Welcome pack a cube with barely essentials.
Kay, Yeovil

Accommodation was really well equipped, lodge was really spacious and the hot tub was the icing on the cake
Andrew, Langport

Eve
Date of stay: 21st April 2017
Yet again an amazing stay on this lovely quiet park. The only issue we had was that our beautiful lodge with sea views, had a bedroom view that overlooked the bin store which meant a couple of early starts with people clanging down the lid on saying that it did not detract from our stay and we would definitely recommend it.
Sophie
Date of stay: 21st April 2017
Fantastic. Will definitely go again and have already recommended to others.
Gillian, Bolton
Date of stay: 14th April 2017
A superb lodge with lots and lots of space, really high quality furniture and fittings throughout. Could not fault anything about the lodge itself although some areas needed a little dust over. The outdoor hot tub is a real touch of luxury and is immediately accessible from the front door of the lodge. Cleaned and maintained everyday by really helpful staff. Lovely big bathroom and additional ensuite from master bedroom. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful location!
Angela, Gloucester
Date of stay: 24th March 2017
The acorn was a lovely lodge to stay in but my only grumble is it is located by a busy road. Other than that it was perfect.
Tracey, Bromsgrove
Date of stay: 30th January 2017
Stunning lodge with everything you need very spacious and the hot tub was amazing kids can't wait to go again
Martin
Great Lodge with a superb Hot Tub ! Ideal location to explore the local area without using your car
CARLI
The cabin we stayed in is absolutely stunning! Very spacious, very clean, and better than the pictures portray. There are parking spaces right next to the cabins. We had a slight issue with the hot tub, but the manager was great about it.
Keith
Really nice and clean accommodation, really helpful staff, will be booking for next year ASAP
Nicola
Lovely lodge, spotlessly clean, with stunning sea views. A quiet site that I would highly recommend. Only one fault which is why I dropped it one mark the beds were not comfortable.
Nicole
We really enjoyed our break at Oakcliff Holiday Park. As it was out of half term, we got a bargain for Monday-Friday in a lodge with a hot tub. The lodge itself was lovely and clean and very spacious - it had everything you could need and the views to the beach were gorgeous. The location was okay, just a 5-10 minute stroll downhill to the beach but there is not much at all in Dawlish Warren - you have to walk along the beach for 20-30 minutes to get to shops etc - but we knew this and didn't mind. We didn't see any staff at all while we were there - no one is on reception at check in or check out which did seem odd but we had no problems so it was fine. I would definitely recommend and will return if the price is right in the future.
Mathew
Great location and place to stay, the accommodation was lovely and the hot tub was an extra nice treat. The only down side was their wasn’t anyone to meet and greet you at the park. You just picked up your keys and welcome pack and left to it.
Mike
Great time away
John
Was really impressed with the accommodation, but no one to greet us or direct us to our lodge. It was on the opposite side of the road from the reception and was lucky a resident was around to ask. We arrived at the correct check in time and just found the keys on the desk. Other than that was lovely.
Jane
Really nice and clean caravan. Only problem was that the central heating was set really low and we were unable to to turn it up.
Merv
Everything was superb, the accommodation, location and the scenic area.
Barry
A very enjoyable off-season break.
Chris
second time in this cabin/hot tub loved it and will stay again if the price is right
