Lovely place but the fishing wasn't as good as it's cracked up to be. Plenty of small fish but there are not many carp and bream. The lodge was comfortable but basic. Be prepared to have no cupboards for food stuff as all the units have various utensils in them. The single beds are comfortable but small. The hot tub was amazing though. The couch is spacious but not the most comfy.

Our second stay at Noah's Retreat this year and we were not disappointed. Bulfinch Lodge was perfect for us. The accessibility features were great for my wife and the fishing was good for me even if tough because of recent weather - low water levels and hot. We did enjoy the sun though.

Accomodation was lovely for a relaxing break by the lake. Our large breed dog was also extremely relaxed here. Such a lovely setting and views from living room and decking were perfect. Partner really enjoyed his fishing. We stayed in Falcon lodge and kitchen tap could do with a repair where the thread is bare so constantly falls off but can still be used. Wet room could do with a wet brush to sweep water towards drain otherwise you do find the room stays very wet after shower is used and need to wear shoes in there to use sink and toilet. A hoover would have been great to hoover up dog hair during our stay but we did not enquire so unsure if 1 would be available upon request. These were all minor issues and did not spoil our stay. We visiting Fitties beach each day for our dog to have a good run around and get wet. We would love to come back. Everyone was so friendly. Supermarkets close by and take aways delivered to your door if you don't fancy venturing out.

Loved the lodge and settings, very peaceful and relaxing break. We stayed in Chaffinch Lodge which had a bit more space either side as currently space for more lodges. We didn't actually fish ourselves but did see others fishing from their lodge. You could actually see the fish in the water and occasionally they jumped out of the water. Lots of Ducks and geese on the lake as well to watch and we had dragonflies and damselflies. We had a couple of issues but rang the after hours number and John was round within the hour. We had a problem with the cooker as they were waiting for the engineer but they had provided an air fryer/grill, we just had to change what we were planning on eating. We managed to get 3 of the 5 bi-fold doors open which was lovely as we were there when it was red hot, think the other 2 just needed a bit more force at the bottom but we didn't want to break them so left them 2 closed. We didn't spot the wood walk until the last day which was ideal for taking a dog for a walk or the kids exploring, (check out the Alice in Wonderland characters). Plenty of places to visit within an hours drive and a golf course next door. Local Spar just off the roundabout and Morrisons 10 mins drive.

Bullfinch lodge , brilliant location, allows dogs, good facilities for disabled but the beds were very soft, lodge needs some TLC as wet room was leaking from shower area down to toilet, no grab rails in the wet rooms, rugs were getting to look quite old,

We stayed in Whimbrel 5 and were surprised by the facilities on offer as they're not mentioned anywhere on the Hoseasons website. The lodge has a washer drier, a dishwasher and great WiFi. The hot tub was lovely with views over the lake.

We had a really relaxing week here, just what we needed. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. Our daughters favourite spot is definitely the water - she loves it! Sitting in the hot tub, watching the ducks on the lake, was just perfect. We barely heard any road noise unless there were boy races nearby, which wasnt often. We brought a mobile hoist to help with her needs, though it wouldve been even better if the beds had open bases so she could move around easier. The dog loved having a secure space of its own. Shops arent too far away and it was nice to see Christmas decorations everywhere around the grounds. John was really helpful too!

Nice chilled week away just what we wanted in lovely surroundings. My daughters happy place is in the water. Sat in the hot tub looking over the lake watching the ducks, peaceful. You cant hear the road noice unless you get boy races. My daughter does have complex needs but we just make use of what we have. We took a mobile hoist to meet personal needs, it would been better if it had open base beds. She could get around everywhere in and out of the lodge. The dog had an enclosed area. Shops not that far away. Nice that they had Christmas decorations and trees around the grounds. John was helpful

We absolutely loved our stay! The lodge was stunning and had everything we could need - dishwasher, full oven, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, you name it. It really felt luxurious. The peaceful site was perfect and the hot tub was great fun for four of us. The complimentary fizz and chocolates were such a lovely touch. Highly recommended!
