Ive recently returned from a midweek break here for just myself and my 2 Pomeranians, and 100% will be returning in the future! ????On arrival I checked in at Reception and was given the loveliest, warmest greeting by Elle. She was super professional, very down to earth and explained everything thoroughly in relation to checking in & out and the resort in general. She also gifted me two Dog Welcome Pack boxes which were beautifully presented and were completely unexpected - a really lovely touch to our stay! She gave me a quick guided tour of The Clubhouse (Restaurant & Bar) and the veranda which overlooks the Golf Course & the Tennis Courts. *The Clubhouse and the Resort in general are Dog Friendly, however dogs are understandably not allowed on the Golf Course or the Tennis Courts*. Elle then kindly assisted me back to my car so I could then head over to the lodge. We stayed in Lakes View 15 which is a 2 Bed Lux Garden Lodge Pet Friendly Hot Tub. The lodge was brand new and cleaned to a very high standard. Cleanliness is something which is generally overlooked in Pet Friendly accommodations but not here - everywhere was immaculate! The Lounge area featured a smart tv, an Echo Dot (Alexa) and the lodge had free Wi-Fi. The Kitchen area featured a full size fridge with a separate 3 drawer freezer (fantastic for my 2 dogs who are fed a raw diet), a full size dishwasher AND a washing machine! There were small touches which I really appreciated - a Tea Towel, 1 Dishwasher Tablet & the Bin had a bin liner already installed. This lodge also featured a twin room, a separate shower/toilet room and the Master Bedroom had an en-suite complete with a full size Bath! More small touches - both the separate shower/toilet room and en-suite had 1 toilet roll & the bins had bags already installed. The Master Bedroom featured a desk with light up vanity mirror, had a hotel style hairdryer left in the wardrobe drawer but one downside - there were no coat hangers, which in the grand scheme of things is very minor and only a small criticism of what was overall a fantastic lodge! Bed linen was provided (made up on arrival) as were towels and bath mats. The garden area was quite substantial in size. It had both grass & patio terrain, featured a picnic style table with 2 benches, as well as 4 bar stools alongside a Pergoda complete with Hot Tub. A lovely gentleman from the Park Maintenance Team visited every morning to carry out mandatory daily checks on the hot tub - he discreetly lets himself into the garden via the gate, so dont block the gate closed with a bar stool like I did ???? (There was a fault with the patio door lock barrel. I logged this with reception but they were already aware and were awaiting Willerby to sort under warranty, so as an extra security measure I put a bar stool behind the gate to stop anybody from potentially walking in).The resort in general was so peaceful and relaxing - the only noises heard was the occasional vehicle passing on the road, most of which were farm vehicles. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone, whether you have dogs or not. Ive been praising this resort since visiting but advised friends/family not to book it too much so that theres enough availability for me to go back at some point ????

As a large group, we go away for a Cabin week away every year (6 Adults, 2 Children), and this year we went to Messingham Lakes. First impressions were good when we got to reception, with very friendly staff on hand to facilitate the Checking In procedure, and then provide any information required. Directions to the Cabin were perfect, and then we get to the cabin itself. Perfect amount of parking for the size of the Cabin, and really well set out inside, with 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. Good sized and reasonably well equiped kitchen (I did have to go any buy some scissors, but that's fairly minor!), and a lovely Hot Tub. All in all, would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days.

Lodge needed cleaning outside and decking a good sweep. Made use of old pallett as gate for pet security on deck area, believe full gate made to fit should be fitted espwcially for (dog friendly den) holiday.Kitchen utensils and equipment very sparse.Plastic glasses for adults not pleasant.Over all,a friendly park, with fab bar/restaurant and good facilities.

We stayed in lodge 17 which was perfect for us and the dog as the garden was enclosed with a hot tub and seating area. The lodge was immaculate, and new, with new lodges being delivered whilst we were there, staff were friendly and also gave us a doggy welcome pack. Shops and takeaways are local and there is a pub/restaurant, golf, tennis on site and a driving range over the road. Good site for walking the dog around too and very quiet, would definitely recommend for a relaxing break

We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage! It really is a little gem - everything you could possibly need is provided, so we didnt have to bring much at all. The owners, Sharon and Rob, thought of everything, including a fantastic welcome pack with all the info and menus. Our dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden, which was a real bonus and the hot tub was just perfect for relaxing. They were quick to respond if we had questions. Thanks for a wonderful break - well definitely be coming back!

We just got back from a fantastic four-night stay at this charming cottage. The owners are really friendly and helpful, but theyre not overbearing - just there when you need them. The garden is huge and fully fenced, perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place has everything we needed, including a great BBQ one evening. The hot tub was the real highlight! Were already planning to come back and have told our friends about it. Thanks for a lovely break!
