Missed a trick with this Lodge, its a lovely Lodge but fittings not so much. Settees are uncomfortable as are the beds. Nice smart tv. Seeing as it was a Lodge for 4 people there wasnt 4 decent glasses in the Lodge. 2 large wine glasses both different, a smaller wine glass, 3 small glasses & 4 plastic cups for the hot tub. 3 very big saucepans with lids but no small ones. No oven trays , The Tub was ok but instead of putting it on the decking its stuck on the side of the Lodge at the back with really wobbly paving slabs around it .

Lovely spacious lodge. Comfy beds. Everything you need for a great self catering break - like a home away from home! Views from the lodge were stunning and it is in such a tranquil spot. I love the gate at the entrance, I felt super safe as a woman travelling with 2 kids!

Lodge was spacious Needed a deep clean as windows were filthy and surfaces were a little dirty. The shower leaked but the manager was aware, a dining chair was broken and we nearly fell off it.Mattresses were soft in the middle and hard on the outside, we ended rolling to the middle!Quiet site, lovely views

We had such a lovely weekend staying at Medbourne Edge Retreat. We were a group of 4 adults, one child and a dog. The facilities were really good and the lodge was clean and tidy. Lots of thoughtful extra touches such as a hamper for the dog, blankets and washing up bits. The bed was a bit on the harder side but it wasnt too much of an issue as we were only there for a few nights. Simon was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

It's a simple lodge with little to no decor but does the job. You are asked to strip the beds on departure which I've never been asked to do before.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The setting is stunning and the weather was perfect for relaxing outside. The hot tub was a lovely touch and the place was spotless. Only downside was the mattress - quite uncomfortable, so we might have moved rooms if we stayed longer. Also, those tiny mugs for tea need replacing! Still, definitely worth a visit.
