We spent a week here with our two little dachshunds from 15 to 22 July and honestly, it was lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and our dogs loved making new friends around town. The cottage itself is really cosy and the hot tub was such a treat-especially during those scorching days when the water was nice and cool. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Watching the planes land near Stansted added a bit of entertainment too. Definitely a place wed recommend for a relaxing getaway!
