The cottage was really charming and perfect for some peaceful time away. Just a heads up, youll hear planes at night since its close to Stanstead, but the hot tub made up for it!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners are so welcoming and friendly - couldnt ask for more! The place itself is adorable, with charming timber beams and a cosy vibe. The shower is powerful and the bed was super comfy, making it hard to leave! Parking right next to the cottage was a big plus and the place was spotless. The walks nearby to Thaxted are beautiful and it's easy to get around to explore the area. Would definitely come back!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, the place was lovely. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was such a treat-perfect for cooling off in the heatwave. We really appreciated how welcoming the hosts were; it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields daily. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually quite interesting, watching the planes land was pretty cool. Overall, wed definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway, especially if you enjoy a cosy setting and a bit of plane spotting!

The highlight was definitely the hot tub - perfect for cooling off during the heatwave. The hosts were really warm and friendly, which made us feel right at home. It was lovely to see their horses being taken out each day too. Sure, youre near the Stansted flight path, but honestly, it added to the charm watching the planes come in. Wed happily stay again!
