Had a great time. Only 2 night stay. But would hire larger place if staying for longer. Space too small for any more than 2 adults, really. The facilities were closed as late season, but play park for kids looked great.Staff were Very helpful resolving couple of issues 5 stars to themWe will be back. Thanks guys!

Good space and items inside the lodge. Gnats were a pain when using the hot tub but we would come better prepared for this in future.

A nice cabin with comfy beds. The highlight was sitting in the hot tub while it was pouring rain. Then watching a movie in the living room with a cup of coffee as we dried.

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners are so welcoming and friendly - couldnt ask for more! The place itself is adorable, with charming timber beams and a cosy vibe. The shower is powerful and the bed was super comfy, making it hard to leave! Parking right next to the cottage was a big plus and the place was spotless. The walks nearby to Thaxted are beautiful and it's easy to get around to explore the area. Would definitely come back!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, the place was lovely. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was such a treat-perfect for cooling off in the heatwave. We really appreciated how welcoming the hosts were; it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields daily. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually quite interesting, watching the planes land was pretty cool. Overall, wed definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway, especially if you enjoy a cosy setting and a bit of plane spotting!
