We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners are so welcoming and friendly - couldnt ask for more! The place itself is adorable, with charming timber beams and a cosy vibe. The shower is powerful and the bed was super comfy, making it hard to leave! Parking right next to the cottage was a big plus and the place was spotless. The walks nearby to Thaxted are beautiful and it's easy to get around to explore the area. Would definitely come back!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, the place was lovely. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually quite interesting, watching the planes land was pretty cool. Overall, wed definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway, especially if you enjoy a cosy setting and a bit of plane spotting!

This place is a real gem! Its perfectly tucked away, offering privacy but still nearby shops and cafes. The hot tub is fantastic and the bathroom with underfloor heating is just the luxury we needed. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie are lovely hosts. Cant wait to return for a longer stay!
