Visitor Reviews of Loch Awe Holiday Park

We had a good time .lf the weather was a bit better it would be a great holiday. The park could do with a fair sized dining area. No issues, would recommend.

Date of stay: 20th July 2020
Quite new caravans, well equipped with plenty space. 2 bathrooms are great for families.
There were few bits of furniture I had to clean slightly before we used it but all in all really tidy place.
Unfortunately our caravan had no WiFi which meant no Netflix on our tv. I phoned and was told the problem will be sorted in 5 min but that never happened. We were not bothered about it too much so not a huge deal.

Loch Awe holiday park is a lovely place to stay , even though it rained the whole 5 days we were there . It is far enough out of towns to have a relaxing countryside break but close enough for shopping ,meals out and tourist attractions in oban . Plenty things to do if you look and the reception gave us brochures of local attractions which were extremely helpful , would definatly go back .

Date of stay: 1st July 2019
The caravan has been upgraded since last year to make them even better. They have added french doors that open up onto decking which is great. Lets in plenty of natural light and brings the outside in. The living room is also really big so they're plenty of room to move about, even in a family of 4. The beds have also been upgraded and they were incredibly comfy as were the pillows. The shower wasn't as powerful as I would have liked but it was warm and clean. There were a few missing utensils and the knifes were not sharp but that's understandable I guess. It certainly didn't hold us back in way.

A really good holiday ranging from the quietness of the site to busy Oban along with castles and gardens throughout the area.

Wonderful holiday, lovely well kept site, friendly and helpful staff

Date of stay: 15th June 2019
Really nice accommodation. The staff were excellent and the park very peaceful. Only downside was no iron in the caravan.
The park is well tended very neat and quiet it is in a lovely location if a little to near the main road.
There is no restaurant/bar on site but there is one within easy walking distance with a 10% discount for Loch Awe residents.
There is a shop and petrol station at the gates of the Park and unusually for these types of places are reasonably priced.

Date of stay: 26th April 2019
Lovely quiet site surrounded by fabulous scenery. The caravan was beautiful, very clean and warm even had a complimentary tea towel pack! Site was very clean and well kept, they even came round washing all the statics even though they were clean. Our static had a decking area with table and chairs which was handy as the weather was glorious.
Only slight down was the fact that there is a daily charge for electricity on top of the site fees, £7.50 per day.
