Very comfortable and well equipped. Not as homely as a similar lodge in Lake District stay earlier this year. Sound bar located underneath TV on mantleshelf couldnt be plugged in unless you moved it onto floor.a minor point but indicates approach to detail not being quite ???? The water source issue has no apparent timescale for being resolved so this would be a factor on staying here again Otherwise wed stay here again

The staff were incredibly helpful. We were notified before the holiday that all water would require boiling to drink or brush teeth etc. We boiled water but it still had a muddy brown colour which worried us. We were told it was caused by peat. The colour put us off using it. Very restricting not being able to use water direct from the tap and having to rely on bottled water. We ran out and reception closed at 5pm The lodge was ok. Beds were very uncomfortable and the tv didnt work although staff were very happy to come and attempt to fix it for us. We thought we might be able to walk into Oban in the evening but the road to the site was not safe to walk in the dark. Great views from the lodge though.

Corner sofa not comfortable for older people too low.The oven did not seem to heat up very good, food took longer. Maybe having an Air fryer would be better for some cooking as quicker and easier

Outstanding stay in Aurora lodge, fully equipped with everything you could need, including hot tub, and secure decking with a gate to keep the dog safe. Stunning views over the sound of Kerrera, not overlooking any other lodges or campers onsite and very very peaceful. Maintenance and housekeeping teams take pride in their work and very friendly. A truly fabulous lodge - you get what you pay for.

We stayed in 2 bed Highland Lodge situated on an elevated position with the most amazing views. The lodge was lovely, so clean, modern and extremely well equipped. At the time of our stay they were upgrading their water supply and we had to use bottled water for drinking. This was notified to us on the booking confirmation and wasn't a problem. There were some works taking place on site which were a bit annoying hence only marking this stay as good.

A very good holiday no problems with accommodation , hot tub inspected daily , hard standings for vehicles. Road leading to the site from Oban needs care to navigate, single track with passing places. Drivers are not always accommodating can be busy.. but again does not detract from the holiday, just be careful.

The pod itself was very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities and equipment we could need. I do have some slight advice the dining table provided was not sturdy enough it was a folding camping table which was not sufficient for the pod and had screws missing when we first arrived so we tried not to use it at all.

Lovely site in the rolling hills of Oban looking over the sound of Kerrera to the Isle of Kerrera. We stayed in Lodge 5, very luxurious with plenty extras in the cabin. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. Great site if you have a dog, great Forrest nature walk were can let the dog off the lead, must be on a lead on the site though.
