Stayed in the Hare Lodge for a week. Beds were made up ready and essentials like coffee etc were there including a nice chilled bottle of milk. Lodge was clean and spacious. Lovely quiet location and the hot tub was amazing after a long day out exploring. Within easy driving distance to cheddar gorge, wookey hole, longleat etc.Hosts were on hand incase we needed anything and are lovely and inviting plus daily visits by the farm doggy just in time for dinner?.Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Lodge's, Relaxing countrysideWe stayed in Hare Lodge for February half term 7 nights. Firstly the host's are lovely, very welcoming & extremely approachable. Our key was left in the door of the Lodge for self check in. After we had unloaded the car, the host's came up and welcomed us, making sure we had everything we needed. We loved our daily visits from the host's dog, the children loved playing with her & giving her some cheeky treats. The Lodge is very comfortable, the wood burning fire in the lounge was lovely, all logs for the week included was a bonus, we even had a supermarket delivery to our Lodge saving time to enjoy our holiday instead of food shopping, we had a couple of take aways delivered too. The farm is lovely & the host's (farmers) showed us around the farm & the children loved having cuddles with the animals. We sat out eatting breakfast each morning with the views of the horse's right infront of us. The hot tub was lovely a real bonus. It really was home from home with extras. The kitchen is ideal with all needed including a dishwasher and washing machine. Beautiful surrounding countryside, we had lots of days out with the children, wookey hole, crealy theme park, the peir beaches. It really is in a good location for all different types of days out from charming pubs to fun for the children. We would highly recommend you stayed here, you really do get the feel of a happy working farm family, instead of a big complex being just a number. Thank you to little moorland farm for a lovely get away.

Our group of friends meets up each year to catch up with each other's lives and its something we all really look forward to.
We really loved Hare lodge itself. The facilities and hot tube were brilliant, clean and comfortable and if it wasn't for the hosts we would stay again, consequently, we will not be.
It would be better to provide guests with information on how to check-in pre-stay as it just looks like you're entering a house/land, do not expect to be greeted or taken to the lodge. If you're like us that's not really a big problem. This probably wouldn't have been an issue if we weren't greeted bright and early by the hosts on one day with an aggressive demeanor that seriously lacked customer service, even though it was a mistake on their behalf and we had not done anything wrong. One of our guests had turned up later than the rest and they assumed we had more guests than expected. Perfectly acceptable to question us but definitely not in the way they did, a reaction likely from rule-breaking previous guests. This was my first experience being spoken to by a host in this way and it completely tainted the end of our stay and we will never return to this site. Hosts need training on customer service or a serious contemplation over whether they should be running a customer-facing business if they don't want interaction with clients at all.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Hare lodge. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and comfortable. The surroundings were very peaceful and although the lodge is in the countryside and on a farm, it is also a very short drive to the seaside and Cheddar. The hot tub was a nice touch. The owners provided a really useful information pack which recommended pubs, takeaways etc. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The lodge was delightful. We made full use of the spa bath which was clean and well maintained. The lodge is set delightfully in a well manicured field within site of the farmhouse but not on top. The rooms were all spacious, nicely furnished.

If you want a "get away from it all" this is the place. It totally suited our needs and we would love to return.

We had a great time with our friends and their dog there. Lodge is ideal for 5(or 6) people with a pet as it's large enough for everyone to relax at the fire or chill in the hot tub.

Cheddar Gorge and Weston-super-Mare are both within 20-30min drive and are beautiful to explore.
Cheddar Gorge walk is just great, takes about 3h slow walking and has some scenic views.

There's a fire pit/pizza oven that we used. I'd suggest taking skewers since there's no grille on top. We tried the pizza oven and it worked after we had a big fire, but takes a while to cook. Other than that a great BBQ addition we used throughout the stay.

I loved this cottage! Every detail was thought of from the logs for the fire, milk in the fridge to mince pies on arrival. The interior of the cottage is very pretty and of high quality. I couldn't fault anything, it was really good value for money!

Would 100% recommend this absolutely stunning set of lodges. We stayed at Hare Lodge.
A real home from home - everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable including hot tub and wood log burner.

We had no problem with WIFI access. I stayed with my partner and our young adult daughters and son in laws - we all thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location for touring locally. We visited Cheddar Gorge and Wells - both beautiful.

We will be going back in the summer and hope to be able to rebook the same accommodation.
Very much enjoyed our stay. The lodge was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and location was peaceful and only a short drive to amenities. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful, relaxing break.
Hedgehog Lodge had the 'wow' factor and was set in a beautiful place. The owners were lovely and friendly. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and were sad to leave. We'll definitely be returning!
A lovely, peaceful few days staying at Hare Lodge. Lodge was nice and clean and well equipped. Nestled into the countryside but only a short drive to Wells, Glastonbury etc. Hosts were very friendly and we had a tour of their farm that my son enjoyed. Would definately hope to go back again in the future.
Wonderful location if you like peace and quiet
Beautiful location, helpful hosts who left us to enjoy and relax, hot tub and seclusion a real bonus, have really-booked for next year
The owners were friendly and obviously work very hard to maintain high standards. Plenty of wildlife around the well kept grounds. Peaceful and relaxing. A very good find!
This is our second visit to Little Moorland Farm Lodges, it is remote so you do need a car to get to a pub, shop or takeaway but the lodges have everything you need. It’s well situated for a trip to Cheddar, Weston SuperMare or Clark’s Shopping Village. If you love tranquility this is the place.
One of the best lodges I’ve had the pleasure to stay at and the owners are friendly and helpful also highly recommended.
We loved it at Little Moorlands. The lodge was perfect for us and the hot tub was great. The owners were available if we needed anything but also didn’t bother us. So many lovely places around. You do need a car because it Is in the middle of nowhere. We definitely recommend.
Lovely place, well equipped. Lovely staff
A beautiful, clean and comfortable lodge. Well equipped and managed by very helpful owners. On hand if you need anything. Would definitely recommend Hedgehog lodge. Set in a lovely, quiet area.
This was a well deserved weekend break for 6 best friends who have weathered working through the NHS covid storm. It was beautifully peaceful with pubs a good 50 minute walk away. Beautifully decorated.
Lovely property with hot tub. Really feel away from it all . Just 3 lodges on the farm so peaceful. 15 mins to Cheddar Gorge. Be aware no reliable WiFi so not the place for you if that is important
