Emma, Woking
Date of stay: 14th August 2020
Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend.
Sam, Hainford, Norfolk
Date of stay: 27th December 2019
We had a pretty good stay overall, though a few things couldve been better. The window over the kitchen didnt have any curtains or blinds, which meant our privacy was a bit compromised at night when the lights were on-this was a bit frustrating, especially since it was mentioned before and still not sorted. We also struggled to get the water to heat up properly, maybe we should have called someone? Still, the place is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break, especially in the warmer months when fishings at its best. Wed definitely go back!

Could do with more everyday stuff like bin bags, honestly.

Lovely place, really relaxing with stunning views over the lake.
James, Shipston On Stour
Date of stay: 28th July 2017
We really enjoyed the stay, the property had fantastic facilities. Only minor hiccups-like wishing for a bread knife and noticing some cutlery wasnt perfectly clean, probably from previous guests. Nothing major though! The overall vibe was great and were already planning to come back soon. Definitely a lovely place to relax.
Emma, Beverley
Date of stay: 12th June 2017
Overall, we found the place quite comfy, though the litter from previous guests was a bit off-putting. The kitchen was decent but could do with more mugs for tea!
Isabelle, North London
Date of stay: 29th May 2017
We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the lovely view over the lake - its such a peaceful spot. The setting is perfect for relaxing and we appreciated the cosy atmosphere. That said, a few little things could be improved. For example, we had to buy some cleaning gear to wipe down the outside table and chairs, since there wasnt much provided for outdoor cleaning. There werent enough wine glasses or other drinking glasses and the bottle opener was broken, which was a bit frustrating. The power outage was unavoidable, but some clear instructions on what to do would have been helpful. Also, it wouldve been great if one of the double bedrooms could be made into twin beds for our son, as he had to sleep in the lounge and we had to buy an extra duvet. Still, wed come back!

Great spot to chill out, especially when the weathers nice. Perfect for relaxing, even if fishing isnt your thing. Would visit again!
Emma, Lincs
Date of stay: 1st May 2017
We stayed in a lovely lodge that felt spacious and well kitted out. It was mostly spotless, just a couple of tiny issues like some coffee stains on mugs (which came off easily) and a cupboard door that needed a little hinge tweak. Nothing major, really enjoyed it!
Alex, Ripon
Date of stay: 28th April 2017
We stayed in a really roomy lodge with all the modern gadgets, minus a bread bin! The only tiny issue was a persistent wasp that kept bothering us, but it didnt ruin our stay. The bed and lounge seating were super comfy and it was so peaceful - just what we needed for a proper chill out.

Date of stay: 27th March 2017
The lodge was really cosy and spotless, which we loved. A few kitchen gadgets could do with an upgrade and some bits were missing, including a fridge shelf.

We really liked the lodges spot; it was just right. Having plenty of space around us was great, but we never felt cut off. The weather was perfect, so we took day trips to some charming seaside towns which looked fantastic. Plus, it was handy to have local shops nearby and we loved picking up fresh produce from butchers and markets. It was a lovely stay!
Emma, Harrow
Date of stay: 3rd June 2016
We stayed at Mallard and honestly, its a lovely spot. The views of the lake are just stunning. Always a great experience!
James, Rayleigh, Essex
Date of stay: 28th May 2016
We had an absolutely lovely stay here! The peaceful vibe and stunning scenery made it perfect for unwinding. Our partner loved the fishing spots nearby and is already talking about returning. There are plenty of charming places to explore just a short drive away, plus some nice cafes and restaurants. Everything was well taken care of and the welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits was a sweet touch. Highly recommended!
