Our bungalow was clean on arrival, it was nice, the sofas looked new, kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of bedding, blankets etc and the bedrooms were comfortable with storage for cases/ clothes. There was even trivial pursuits tucked under the tv which gave our teenagers an evening of laughter trying to figure out 1980s-90s answers. The bungalow definetly felt bigger than I expected it to, although the kitchen was narrow. The only downsides to the bungalow were that the bathroom felt quite dark and dingy as there was no window, but it was clean, maybe brighter lighting would've helped. Some of the windows wouldn't open, one of the bedroom windows was locked shut and on a hot day felt stuffy. And all the bungalows have a little porch area outside of double doors, but ours was also directly outside the front door to the bungalow next to us, so sitting out meant diving out of the way if they wanted to enter or leave (their porch was at the rear and completely seperate to our external areas). We had parking for 1 car at the bungalow and could park our other car on site at a spare car park. We live in Cornwall but tend to avoid the very south due to tourist traffic and parking, this was a great location to stay as it was close enough to explore and use public transport without getting caught in the kerfuffle of tourism traps

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage! The owners are genuinely friendly and very helpful, making us feel right at home. The place is beautifully kept, super clean and warm - perfect for a relaxing getaway. The shower is powerful and the bed was so comfy we didnt want to get up! Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus. We enjoyed peaceful walks through the fields to Thaxted, which is just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Kenegie Manor recently and honestly, it was a lovely experience. The grounds are stunning and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The upgrade to the new gold apartments was a nice surprise - really comfortable! Perfect location for exploring nearby attractions. Definitely a place we'd come back to. Highly recommend!

We loved this cosy little cottage! Its nicely tucked away, so super peaceful, but still close enough to shops and cafes. The hot tub was fantastic after a day out. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel really welcome. Already planning our next stay-cant wait!

We thought this place was great value overall. The hot water and shower temperature did give us some trouble, but were quite sure theyd have sorted it if we had more time. No car, but public transport worked perfectly. Theres a footpath right across from the main gate leading into Penzance, so it was a nice little walk to the station and bus stop. Would recommend!

Honestly, the beds were pretty hard, not the most comfy for sleeping. The kitchen was tiny, especially for two of us trying to cook. Also, a bit disappointed with the cups-they all needed washing before use. Big shoutout to the cleaning staff though; they work hard to keep everything tidy!

We stayed in a lovely, cosy bungalow that felt really welcoming. Its not massive, but perfect for a couple and we appreciated how warm it was. The only tiny gripe was the round dining table - it was awkward to get around, especially when seated. Also, the owners had rearranged the double room a bit, leaving just enough space (about 6 inches) between the bed and wardrobe, which made getting in and out a bit tricky. Still, apart from those little quirks, everything else was spot on and made for a relaxing stay. Definitely would come back!

We honestly enjoyed our stay here. The village is peaceful, well-kept and spotless. The house itself has a lovely, spacious living area and a functional kitchen, though some furniture feels a bit faded. We were a bit surprised there werent enough dishes for six people and no towels were provided, which we werent warned about. Bedding was comfy and super clean, just a shame the double bed was only 130cm wide instead of 140. The staff really made a difference - friendly, helpful and full of energy. Great value for money, wed recommend it!

The rating would be 4.5 but that is not a possible rating. Well-maintained village, quiet, clean. The house is the same, with a rather spacious living room, kitchen. Some furniture is faded, there is a lack of dishes (intended for 6, maximum 4 in dishes) and no towels : I was not warned. Good bedding, very clean and comfortable, too bad the bed for a couple is 130 instead of 140.The staff is dynamic, helpful, kind, very friendly. the stay was pleasant, With the excellent value for money. I recommand

We stayed for a quick 2-3 day trip with our two lively 6-year-olds. The site isnt packed with activities, but the bar and restaurant really stood out-great food and decent prices. Our Silver cottage had good amenities, though it could do with a bit of sprucing up; the carpet was a bit grubby and stained and the bed base looked a bit tatty. Still, the bed linen was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay quite enjoyable overall!

Date of stay: 22nd August 2024
Overall, the stay was okay, but there were a few issues. The shower seemed a bit tired and needed a proper clean, plus it kept switching off and blowing the fuse-really annoying! The shower doors were quite stiff to open and I noticed some black marks on one bedroom wall. Apart from that, it was decent.
