Visitor Reviews of Hemsby Beach Holiday Park

Emma
Date of stay: 3rd November 2024
The place offers all the essentials, which is perfect if you're after something simple. We didnt hang around much because of other plans, but it did exactly what we needed, no fuss.
Emma Clarke
Date of stay: 3rd November 2024
Honestly, the sofa felt more like a bench, not comfortable at all. We ended up buying beach chairs instead. The bed was so firm, gave us back pain.
James
Date of stay: 3rd November 2024
Really appreciated how tidy and well-kept the place was. It was pretty peaceful most of the time too. Staff were lovely and always ready to help. Would definitely come back!
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 31st October 2024
We found the fold-up bed in the lounge quite uncomfortable, honestly.
Emma
Date of stay: 30th October 2024
We stayed in the chalet and honestly, the beds were pretty uncomfortable, which made sleeping a bit of a nightmare. The insulation could definitely be better and that constant tapping noise from the heating didn't help at all. Still, the location was lovely, but we wouldnt rush back because of the sleeping situation.
Emma Clarke
Date of stay: 30th October 2024
We had a lovely stay overall, but the place could really use a deep clean. The carpets and sofas are looking a bit worn out, sadly. Beds werent the comfiest either!
Sam
Date of stay: 30th October 2024
We stayed here recently and honestly, its a cracking place! The size is impressive and with four TVs plus speedy internet, its perfect for a family getaway. Theyve thought of everything - towels, bedding, washer, toaster, dishwasher - all included. The hot tub was a hit. Only quirks were no tea towel and no hoover, but a quick call sorted the hoover out. Weirdly, they also left a box of matches in the kitchen. Overall, really pleased with our stay!
James
Date of stay: 29th September 2024
Quite spacious, but a bit awkward
Laura
Date of stay: 29th September 2024
The chalet was really nice and spotless, but walking to the main area was quite a trek. The sofa was tiny and a bit uncomfortable, but it was okay for the week.
Emma
Date of stay: 29th September 2024
Honestly, we expected a bit more for the price. The caravan was quite old and struggled a lot during high winds - one side panel even fell off! The place was dog-friendly, which was great, but it wasnt as clean as wed hoped. Not offering towels or even basic things like a tea towel made cooking a bit of a hassle. The hot tub was definitely the highlight - lovely and relaxing. That said, the photos online paint a different picture from what you actually get; its a bit disappointing. The inside could do with a refresh and the beds were way too soft for our liking. Could be better, for sure!
Emma Clarke
Date of stay: 19th September 2024
We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Loved that it was pet friendly with secure gating for our dog. The WiFi and Netflix kept us entertained. The hot tub was truly the highlight. Can't wait to return!
Emma
Date of stay: 18th September 2024
Really loved this place, it was spotless and comfy. Just a bit pricey, but worth it! Definitely recommend.
Emma
Date of stay: 17th September 2024
We stayed in the chalet recently and honestly, it had its ups and downs. The heating took a while to kick in, but once it did, it was warm enough. The constant rattling from the radiators was pretty annoying though. The double bed was a bit uncomfortable, but the kids beds were spot on. Kitchen stuff was decent, but overall, it wasnt very clean - cobwebs everywhere, which was a bit off-putting.
Ella Carter
Date of stay: 12th September 2024
We stayed here and noticed a crack in the ceiling of one bedroom. The twin room had a persistent bad smell for two days, which was a bit off-putting. The dining table and chairs didnt really match the rest of the decor and we discovered our lodge was a former site office, so it wasnt fitted out the same way. For £1100 for a week, we expected better quality, honestly.
Alex
Date of stay: 8th September 2024
The villa was spotless and spacious, which we really appreciated. The garden could do with a proper tidy, though.
James
Date of stay: 8th September 2024
Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with our stay. The sofa was tiny for five people and ended up breaking. The beds were so stiff and uncomfortable and the dining chairs killed our backs. The double bed was way too small for two of us and we ran out of cutlery and bowls. Plus, the sink and toilet had cracks and the carpets were filthy. Not what we expected at all.
Emma
Date of stay: 4th September 2024
The lodge was pretty lovely overall. It was spacious and comfortable, though the carpet and sofas had a few stains-probably because its a pet-friendly place. The hot tub was definitely the highlight, really enjoyed it!
Lucy
Date of stay: 25th August 2024
We loved how spotless the caravan was and it felt just like being at home. Definitely planning to come back again soon!
Alex
Date of stay: 19th August 2024
Honestly, the place was just okay, but for nearly £250 a night, we expected a bit more from the basics. Things like a lock on the bathroom door, a clean light switch, a mirror and a bin should really be standard. The bedrooms were pretty disappointing too - some didnt even have a plug socket, which made it tricky to charge anything. The beds and pillows werent comfortable at all, honestly felt like sleeping on bricks, so sleep was pretty much non-existent, which is no good for a holiday. The living room lacked a proper coffee table or any spot to put a drink, just that grimy, poorly fitted carpet. The kitchen was minimal at best; we ended up drinking wine from tumblers because there was no proper glassware. The bin lid didnt stay shut, so we had to empty it daily. Outside, we found glass scattered in the grass that was obvious and should have been cleaned up - we ended up picking it up ourselves. There was also no outdoor seating at all, which was a real let down. Overall, it was a pretty terrible chalet experience and we definitely wouldnt go back. Honestly, the company should be ashamed for taking peoples hard-earned money and memories for something so subpar. We wouldnt recommend it to anyone!
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 18th August 2024
We had a great 4-night break! The chalet was cosy and there was loads of space for the kids outside.
Emma Richards
Date of stay: 24th July 2024
Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the sofa quality. It felt cheap.
Emma
Date of stay: 20th July 2024
Honestly, we were a bit disappointed with the caravan. We picked the platinum pet-friendly one because we wanted something clean and comfy, but the cushions had scribbles on them and the carpet looked like it hadnt been hoovered in ages-if only there had been a hoover! No towels either, which was pretty annoying considering how much we paid. Oh and the door latches on the decking were broken. Not what we expected at all.
Mike
Date of stay: 28th May 2024
We noticed quite a few changes since our last visit. The blinds replacing curtains look sleek and the new big TV on the wall is a bonus. The heaters seem modern too. Just wish there was a bathroom cabinet for extra storage. Still, pretty good overall!
Charlotte
Date of stay: 22nd May 2024
Seats are pretty limited-just a small two-seater, sadly. Seen better days.
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 6th May 2024
Could be much comfier, honestly. Not great.
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 15th April 2024
Solid holiday, but those armchairs were definitely missed this time around.
Samira
Date of stay: 14th April 2024
Good value for money, it had all the essentials we were after.
Emma
Date of stay: 14th April 2024
We stayed in the chalet recently and found it pretty decent for the two of us. Not sure it would comfortably fit four though. The sofa wasnt the comfiest for lounging, but everything was spotless and the place felt bright and cosy. Its not as fancy as a caravan, but we liked it!
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 10th April 2024
The place was pretty clean and tidy, which was great. The couch was a bit uncomfortable, but for the price, its a decent budget option. Would stay again!
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 7th April 2024
Honestly, the beds are way too small if you're over size 14 or taller than 5ft8, which is a bit disappointing. Also, the kitchen had hardly any utensils-no tin opener or spatula, which was frustrating.
