The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to explore safely. The place had everything we could possibly want - even a BBQ for one evening. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant! The chalet looked really charming and overall we had a good stay. When we first arrived, there was a strong smell, so we bought some air freshener and a plug-in to sort it out. Apart from that, it was a lovely place!

The location was perfect, plenty of walks around and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, we left feeling totally recharged and relaxed. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We had such a lovely weekend here! Everything we hoped for, plus the dogs absolutely adored the underfloor heating - they couldnt get enough of it. The garden was perfect for them to run around and Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it! Definitely plan to come back. Great place for both humans and pups!

We rented the villa and it is certainly spacious however, the plug trap in the accessible bathroom was completely blocked so the room was flooded when we used it. I managed to clear it myself but should not have had too. Otherwise, the site looks clean and well tended.

Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but its worth knowing if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a great getaway!

We had a lovely week at the cottage, staying from 15th to 22nd July with our two mini dachshund girls. They really enjoyed their time here, making friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The place itself is beautiful and the hot tub was a real highlight-especially during the scorching hot days when the cool water felt so refreshing. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming; it was nice to see their horses being taken out to the fields each day. Being near Stansteds flight path, we enjoyed watching the planes land. Wed definitely recommend !

The bungalow was spacious enough for us, although we did notice it could have been a bit cleaner - but nothing too major. The staff at reception were genuinely helpful and friendly, giving us good tips and making check-in smooth. Its a place that brought back memories of family holidays from years ago, but with all the modern comforts you'd want. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty gloomy the whole time, but we still made the most of it and had a great time. Definitely planning to come back!

Our dogs loved the nearby walks and meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. The host was super friendly and quick to reply.
