Not great! Accommodation smelled like mould, uncomfortable and dirty. Blinds were gross, door rattled constantly, boiler boiled constantly, radiators clanged loudly, mirrors missing from walls, limited plug sockets (none in bedroom) no room to turn around in bathroom. Toilet door next to living room sofa and kitchen so not a good layout of property (which was tiny). Would not stay in this accommodation again.

We went for a 4 bed chalet upon arrival it was dirty and under the bed hasnt been cleaned. There was cobwebs everywhere, hardly any kitchen utensils were supplied I had to go buy them the blinds didnt work and fell out causing injury when o tried to pull them up. We also found dirty socks shoved down back of radiator. The floors were mouldy in bathrooms and they had no locks.

Empty cans under bed holes in walls lock on toilet broken Sofa bed and sofa was uncomfortable we had to sleep on floor for a weekNot enough equipment in kitchen to be able to cook meals but we had to compromise

The chalets are uncomfortable

No lock on toilet door, I reported but no one come to fix it. Bathtub tap not working, also shower did not work after 2days.

Everything was very good although had to report the sofa was sagging and uncomfortable, so it was replaced

Chalet was very clean and tidy, only fault was bed was a bit uncomfortable and seating was also uncomfortable but apart from that was really good.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. Perfectly placed for some peace and quiet, plus the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The owners were super helpful without being too in your face. They've got it just right!

We just got back from a cozy four-night stay at this charming cottage. The owners are super friendly and never intrusive, but always there if needed. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to explore safely. The place had everything we could possibly want - even a BBQ for one evening. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant! Were already planning to come back and have recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely break!

The chalet looked really charming and overall we had a good stay. When we first arrived, there was a strong smell, so we bought some air freshener and a plug-in to sort it out. Apart from that, it was a lovely place!

We had a really lovely time! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place had everything we needed - super clean, comfy and our dog Archie was safe and happy. The location was perfect, plenty of walks around and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, we left feeling totally recharged and relaxed. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Photos on site, very misleading. Moved to allegedly gold caravan which was more like a standard bronze but I must thank the manager who agreed to moved us.

We had such a lovely weekend here! Everything we hoped for, plus the dogs absolutely adored the underfloor heating - they couldnt get enough of it. The garden was perfect for them to run around and Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it! Definitely plan to come back. Great place for both humans and pups!

We loved the setting, dogs had a fantastic time exploring the fields, really enjoyed our stay!

Overall a very nice lodge, beds comfortable, showers very good and excellent hot tub, limited crockery and glasses, carpet stained in places, a hoover and a hairdryer should be provided.

Lovely stay, very welcoming hosts and the jacuzzi was definitely a highlight for us.

We rented the villa and it is certainly spacious however, the plug trap in the accessible bathroom was completely blocked so the room was flooded when we used it. I managed to clear it myself but should not have had too. Otherwise, the site looks clean and well tended.

Basic very basic chalet. Clean but lacked something. Carpets very old and plug sockets limited, one in the living area was coming off the wall abit so we didnt use it. We slept well, fridge and freezer were big enough for what we had. Spacious living area and nice dining table and stools.
