We stayed in a lovely lodge that was surprisingly spacious and spotless when we arrived, which was great. The place was warm at first, but within a couple of hours, it got pretty chilly - no heating on all evening and the towels on the radiators were still damp the next morning. Theres no clear info about who to call if something goes wrong, apart from out-of-hours security, which isnt ideal. The only instructions we got were for the fire, so we had to ring the number wed been called on before to let them know which lodge we were in. They said someone would come out, but no idea when. Fortunately, we spotted the cleaners in the next lodge and asked them to check the heating; turns out it was set low, so they turned it up and it warmed up nicely. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - very relaxing! There was a bit of confusion about Wi-Fi; it says its included, but then we found a leaflet explaining how to register and pay, which was a bit annoying. The reception closing at 4 pm and not opening again until after our checkout felt a bit restrictive. On the plus side, we loved seeing the alpacas in the field next door - such a lovely touch!

The lodge was tidy, but the beds are quite uncomfortable. Also, theres a real lack of crockery and local info.

Nice place overall, but we did notice cigarette butts left on the patio from before. Otherwise, lovely stay!

We had a fantastic time here! The place is super well-equipped, making it really comfortable for our stay. Its a short drive to places like Gibraltar Point, Mablethorpe and Anderby Creek, which was perfect for day trips. After a long walk, relaxing in the hot tub was just what we needed. There are a couple of pubs nearby, but youd need to drive or cycle since there's no footpath all the way. We loved it and will be booking again!

Wow, what a find! We booked this place without seeing any photos inside, just hoping for the best and it really paid off. The inside was absolutely lovely-spotlessly clean and newly refurbished, you could tell they put a lot of thought into it. There are two double bedrooms with en-suites, plus a third bedroom with bunk beds (bottom bunks a small double, tops a single) and a separate bathroom just for that room, which was handy. The real wow factor was the kitchen-its huge, super modern and really well-equipped, with plenty of space to cook and hang out. The island seats four and the open-plan living area was massive, with three comfy sofas and a big flatscreen TV. Bifold doors opened onto the patio, stretching the length of the room, which was lovely for sitting outside. There was also a separate dining and living room with a table for six, two sofas and another large TV-great if you want two separate chill zones. We were a family of six, with two other families and everyone loved it. Its only about ten minutes to the seaside and local shops and less than half an hour to Skegness or Ingoldmells if you fancy the busier spots. Were already planning to come back. I was tempted to leave a bad review to keep it quiet, but I couldnt bring myself to lie-honestly, its a brilliant place!

We loved this lovely bungalow, it was super clean and had breathtaking countryside views. The space was a lot bigger than we thought, with two lounges and a massive kitchen-dining area - perfect for relaxing. Only minor issue was the bed, which was way too soft and kinda uncomfortable. Still, great stay overall!

Overall, we had a great stay. The only small hiccup was no oven glove, which made handling hot dishes a bit tricky. Apart from that, everything else was spot on and brilliant!

The hot tub cover really needs a proper catch and a lid lifter would make things so much easier. Its a bit of a struggle doing it alone without those extras. Could do with some improvements.

We stayed at this lovely little cottage and it was just perfect for a relaxing getaway along the Lincolnshire coast. The decor is really tasteful, though wed maybe swap the sofa for something a bit more comfy. The hot tub was a real treat and arriving to free bread, jam and milk was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

We had a really lovely stay overall. The lodge was spotless and very comfortable, which we appreciated. The hot tub, unfortunately, was a bit of a letdown-it wasnt very warm, so we only managed a quick dip on Christmas morning. We did call for help, but it felt more like an emergency than it really was. Still, it didnt spoil our trip too much and we enjoyed the rest of our break despite that hiccup. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at this place! The staff at reception were super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The lodge itself was fantastic - loved the open plan design, the cosy mood lighting and the hot tub was a real highlight. Its location is perfect, just 10 minutes from Ingoldmells and 20 from Skegness, so exploring was easy. All in all, one of the nicest lodges we've stayed in. Thanks for a great experience, well definitely return!

We had an amazing long weekend at the lodge. The views of the lake are simply stunning and its so peaceful there. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day out. We loved visiting the local alpaca farm and donkey sanctuary. Plus, only a quick 15-minute drive to the beach-fab trip!

We had a really good time overall. The shared spaces were spacious and perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially with those stunning lake views. A bit of a pain that the Wi-Fi didnt work for us - we probably shouldve called to ask. The smaller beds werent quite comfy enough for us adults over three nights and the signage could definitely be clearer to find the lodge easily. Still, a pretty decent stay!

We recently stayed as a group of 8 and honestly, while the place was quite nice, it didnt quite hit the top of our list. There were a few small things that bugged us, but overall, we still enjoyed our trip. The first night, the electric switches tripped, leaving us in the dark and without a kettle - typical start to a holiday, right? It took a couple of phone calls and a couple of hours before someone finally came and opened the locked cupboard to fix the meter, which was a bit of a pain after a long drive. The large windows overlooking a caravan park werent ideal; it was peaceful enough but a tad overlooked. Some voile curtains or privacy films wouldve sorted that easily. The underfloor heating in one of the living rooms was out of action, which was a shame, especially if youre there in cooler weather. Seating was another thing - there wasnt enough in either lounge for us all to sit comfortably together, which wouldve been nice. The fridge was on the small side for a group of our size, so we had to be careful with storage. Beds that could be split into singles or doubles wouldve been a real bonus. But honestly, these are just tiny niggles. Nothing major, just some ideas for improvement. The electric issue was probably just bad luck and we still had a good time overall!

We found the place really spacious and spotlessly clean, which was great. The only hiccup was the hot tub water turning a weird brown colour. We contacted reception like instructed, but they told us to wait until security was available later that evening. When we tried to reach security, the number was wrong and by then, reception had closed, so we couldnt use it that night. Bit of a shame!

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed the spaciousness of the place. The little welcome gift in the kitchen was a thoughtful touch that we appreciated. The location was perfect, super quiet but still within easy driving distance to attractions. Only downside was the cleaning - the fridge could have been wiped down better and the floors needed a proper hoover. Oh and beware if you walk to the pub; there's no local taxi service, so plan ahead!

Staying at Helsey House for four nights was a lovely experience. The staff made us feel really welcome and were super friendly throughout. The house was spotless and exceptionally clean, which we really appreciated. The kitchen had all the essentials and the garden was well-maintained with plenty of seating. The peaceful surroundings made our stay even better. Well definitely return and recommend it to others!

We had a fantastic stay. The house was super well equipped and kept us warm despite the rainy December weather. The bath was a real treat and the shower was great too. Being near the flight path didnt bother us at all, so dont worry about that! Perfect for dogs who dislike fireworks, as its in the middle of nowhere. Lovely converted property, wed definitely come back!
