I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the dumbarnie Lodge. Beautiful lodge, I can't recommend enough. Perfect location literally 5 min from Ingoldmells. We had plot 93 which had the hot tub built into the decking which made our stay

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! The place is spotless and fully equipped, making everything so convenient. Loved having dog walks right outside the door and meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was such a treat. The host was incredibly friendly and quick to reply. Totally worth it, well be back for sure!

Brand new lodge like home from home very clean and the wi-fi works perfectly. Great to have a hot tub and balcony with fence round for the dogs, even they didn't want to go home.

Although there is very little on site (unless you're there for golf) the site is extremely peaceful, with the club house serving great food. The site is part of a lovely golf course so if you're a golfer then great. But if not, it's still a lovely site with very welcoming staff. The lodge was really nice with free EV charging which was great. We had an ensuite bathroom with bath & shower with toilet plus and additional bathroom with toilet & shower. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked great. If I had to have one thing to pick up on, I'd say the dishwasher could do with a good clean cycle. Other than that, we really enjoyed our 3 night stay.

We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to return. Our dogs couldnt get enough of the underfloor heating and the garden - Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, bless her. Honestly, it was a perfect escape for both us and our pups. Cant wait to come back!

We stayed at this place recently and honestly, its a gem! The house is super well equipped and kept us warm on a cold, rainy December day. The bath was fantastic and the shower was big enough for a proper rinse. The location is perfect for dogs, especially if they dislike fireworks - its so peaceful. The property itself is beautiful and converted really nicely. Thanks a lot!

We needed a peaceful getaway for the dog and this place delivered. The accommodation was top-notch, with lovely pubs and eateries just a short stroll. Plenty of fields and trails meant the dog was happy all weekend. Well definetly return!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two mini daschund girls and honestly, they had a fab time making friends in the lovely village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is really charming and well-kept and the hot tub was such a treat, especially since it was blazing hot outside - cooling water made it perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields every day. Plus, watching the planes land near Stansted was quite interesting. Wed definitely recommend it!

The cottage itself is charming and cosy and the hot tub was definitely a highlight-especially during those scorching days, it cooled down just right. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Watching the planes land near Stansted was surprisingly fun, too. Its in a peaceful village, perfect for relaxing walks. Overall, wed definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with pets. Well be back!
