We had such a lovely escape! The cabin was spot on, with everything we needed - from loo rolls to dishwasher tablets, they really thought of all the little details. The undercover porch with hooks, the drying room and comfy beds made our stay even better. The highlight was definitely relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by mountains - truly stunning. Honestly, we didnt want to leave. Everything was just perfect and well definitely be returning soon!

We just got back from a festive week at Hartsop Fold and honestly, it was fantastic. The views were absolutely stunning, especially with the snow falling on our last day - really magical! Even though the place is pet-friendly, the lodges were surprisingly spotless, which we appreciated. Theyre well kitted out with smart TVs and a speaker, perfect for Christmas movie marathons and tunes. We loved the rechargeable torch/night light - so handy! The free laundry room was a godsend and kept everything tidy. The staff might be a bit rare to spot, but when we did see them, they were super friendly and helpful. The shower had great pressure, beds were cosy and the hot tub was just what we needed after climbing Red Screes. Thanks for a lovely holiday; were definitely coming back!

Date of stay: 14th August 2020
We stayed at this lovely lodge and really appreciated how well thought out everything was. The hot tub and the drying room, though we didnt use it, definitely added to the appeal of choosing Hartsop. Its location is spot on for exploring Ullswater, which was perfect for us. Only thing wed suggest is raising the fencing by the veranda a bit - we felt a little exposed with four other verandas nearby. Still, its a fantastic spot for a peaceful getaway and wed happily return!

We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was super clean and cosy. Its perfect if youre after a quiet getaway but still want easy access to busier spots during the day. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful from start to finish. Loved the hot tub, laundry facilities and games. Definitely planning to come back soon - it was just perfect for us!

We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and super modern, with a very comfy bed. The living area felt warm and cosy. An outdoor log burner wouldve made it perfect, but still a great experience!

Date of stay: 7th February 2020
We loved the hideaway spot, its peaceful but close enough to explore nearby villages. The scenery is stunning and the waterfall just a short walk away is a real highlight! The lodge was super comfy and warm, plus that hot-tub was a lovely touch. And two mornings of F15s flying overhead? Amazing! Definitely recommend, especially outside peak season for the best deal.
Oliver, Cullingworth
Date of stay: 3rd February 2020
The staff really made our stay enjoyable, always ready to lend a hand and super friendly. We heard the WiFi wasnt great in reviews, but honestly, we had no problems at all. Watched loads on tablets and phones, all smooth sailing for us four! Definitely recommend.
Jamie, Hartlepool
Date of stay: 19th January 2020
We had a really lovely stay here! If you're into outdoor adventures, this place is perfect, with loads of walking routes right from the site - no need to get involved in the parking chaos around Patterdale and Glenridding. The heated boot store next to the lodges main door is such a clever touch, perfect for muddy boots and damp clothes. The hot tubs are kept in great condition by James and the view of the stars on a clear night is just stunning! The lodges themselves are well stocked with everything youd need for cooking and cleaning, plus the furniture is decent and the beds are comfy - ideal for a family getaway. The only thing is, there arent many facilities on-site apart from washing and drying machines at the main building, but there are a couple of pubs nearby if you fancy a pint, or just a short drive if youre not drinking. We really enjoyed our stay and cant wait to come back!
Emma, Chester
