We recently stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and honestly, it was a lovely experience. The place feels surprisingly private despite the farm setting. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely warm and friendly. The cottage itself is big, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we slept like logs on. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely enclosed and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The house was super well equipped and kept us cosy even on a rainy December day. The bath was spot on and the shower was really generous. The location is perfect if youve got dogs that dislike fireworks, since its quite remote. Flying over didnt bother us at all, so dont let that put you off. Thanks a lot!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was really well kitted out and super cosy, which was perfect for the rainy December weather. The bath was fantastic and the shower was nice and spacious. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all, so dont worry about that. Perfect spot for dogs that hate fireworks - totally remote and peaceful. Thanks a lot!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely spot. The setting is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are super friendly and always there if you need a hand. After a long day cycling, the hot tub was just what we needed! The only thing to note is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of plane noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth bearing in mind. Overall, a great little getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy little cottage! Its really well stocked - honestly, theres no need to bring anything, we overloaded the car with stuff we didnt end up using. The welcome pack was full of useful info and the extra touches for our dogs and us were much appreciated. The enclosed garden was perfect for the pups and the hot tub was just the cherry on top. Sharon and RobeRead were quick to reply if we had any questions. Definitely a lovely break!
